Description : One of the tracks off my upcoming musical project. "My Light" is one of them. This is going to be good. I dunno what genre to call this.

Although the vocal seems a little off-time, the overall track is pretty cool, nice job.

the vocals were made for another beat that transformed into the beat you're listened to here. It's a dumloop that's not intended for rap, that's why lol

Strange style of trap here, with a very subdued tone and dynamics to the mix. It's creative, I will give it that. It's interesting that you mentioned reverb in your comment on my recent track, because I feel that these vocals are way too wet... like they are in a different room than the music. Maybe it is a trap thing? Interesting stereo field on the higher frequencies. Is there a kick drum in this? I have my sub turned all the way up, and I just couldn't hear it... possibly it was stereo enhanced instead of present equally in both sides, which I know is a trap thing. I found it interesting throughout though! Thanks for sharing!

lol the reverb here are meant to sound spacey as the tone, or setting, is going to be me blasting off into space. In my final version for the tape, it will be more obvious what's going on. And yes, there is a kick drum in this. It was intended to be a backup to the main beat but I ended up modeling the beat after it after being inspired by its rhythm. I'm not sure about the whole sub thing. I mastered it so that the bass isn't overwhelming and the vocals to sound crisp. I only called it trap because it's the closest genre I could think of. I'm an artist that doesn't follow labels and codes. Thanks for commenting!
