Description : This was my entry into BradoSanz song contest Dec 2016.. It was picked as the winner, but Brado never got round to laying down vocals for it. Shame really because this track doesn't sound complete without them. Maybe I'll attempt to do the vocal myself someday.. where's that autotune at?!? Ayyy! :p

Congratulations on winning the contest! Even without the vocals this is a treat for the ears. Really well composed and executed. Can't wait to hear what you guys come up with :)
I really liked this track! Whether or not you win Brado's contest, this is a fine piece of work. Very intricate production. I thought the mix was excellent, by the way. Nice side chain work. I learned how to do that in my PointBlank courses, but have never actually used the technique. Now I forget how. :)
As of right now, this version will not be available for download. Instead I will be re-uploading a different version with the vocal talents of BradoSanz in future.

Thanks for liking it enough to want to download though :)
I find that the song is quite fine without lyrics. It's cool because in a way the LFO on the lead sort of speaks it's own tune.
But where did the stormy theme go? Might be a pain to master but I like a challenge and reckon a buildup of rain to a storm would be a cool concept for an electronic piece like this. Still an amazing composition.
Great job. The chord progression reminded me so much of Brado´s song writing chord progressions but it has your drop and go EDM sensibilities. The pitch bends had an ATB like quality to them. The only thing I would like to do to that midi sax sound is give it a touch bit of overdive or distortion to sexy it up a bit. But well done, well done!

Beautiful track from start to finish! This deserves to win BradoSanz's contest. There was one thing, however, that sort of drove me nuts. The melody during the drop, plays sort of a call and response, since the second melody is slightly different than the first. One the second half though, the last note of the melody annoyed me though because I felt like it should have gone up a few notes to the next E(I believe) instead of down. Anyways, just a suggestion. Great track!
I hammered this track out in one session a couple of days ago when my internet was down (nothing else to do but write music haha) . Now that my ears have had a break I see some changes i wanna make so you should check back on submission deadline day.
Also.. if you DO choose this track, you'd be welcome to suggest edits or whatever - I want this to be as good as possible :)

Description : 'The main point of this song is really about the frustrations of living in the overload of today's World of Tech. The consequences are impaired communication and that if you advance too far you end up diminishing what you had to start with, so you are way worse off.' Enjoy a 60s Rhythm with a modern deep Bass, a Sitar, a Piano from EvilPianist, a lost flute from UniverseHuston and some Oscillators :-)

Description : A demo of one of my current projects. The chorus vocal sounds like "Aaaaraashe" to me. The song is in C# minor with a nod to C# pythagorean on the chorus. The beat on the verse was inspired by the Peter Gabriel song Intruder.
Description : This is one of my earliest productions that I did at the start of my recording career. I did not have a keyboard at the time I made this song, so I improvised and used my sister's iPad and a 5 dollar GarageBand application instead, and plugged the headset jack into into my PT6 rig and did my best to turn each individual track (which were mono and there were about 25 tracks or so) into a stereo image. Then recorded vocals over it. My computer was so old and slow that I had to mix my music and then BOUNCE it to a new session - four times. My computer (which had 512 MB RAM and an 80 GB hard drive) couldn't handle more than 8 tracks at a time or it'd stop working because the processor couldn't handle it. Took me FOREVER to do. But I got it done. Had a lot of fun doing it too, even if it isn't my "best" work. I'm still happy with it, considering I didn't have many tools to choose from at the time.
Description : Long time lurker first time poster, pretty new to production n stuff, this is my first track in Ableton Live.
was going for a darkwave/synthwave sound, reminiscent of Justice, Carpenter Brut, Perturbator, ect.
Looking for some feed back, constructive criticisms or even just your thoughts if you liked it or not. This is just a rough cut on this current WIP, just the bones of it if you will.. If you have some cool title suggestions, would love to hear those too.
Thanks for listening.

Means a lot to me to come top in the competition, despite some fantastic entries..
As for sidechain, nothing a little youtube tutuorial can't fix ;)
Rather than using ghost kicks etc.. I just use a plugin, saves time and effort haha
Thanks again!

I did think about reintroducing the stormy theme right at the end of the track for the outro.. I still may - we'll see :p
I still definitely want vocals over this, even if Brado doesn't choose it as the winner.. but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it haha
thanks again

Actually it's just a sidechain haha

I'll keep the distortion in mind when I do the final mix..
Much appreciated

The drop is something I've been working on today... It was something that was bugging me too haha..
The track is almost finished now.. it's just the last few fills and that last bar of the chorus that needs some more work..
It's now been updated if you wanna give me some thoughts on the drop?
