Description : Well, this little project has taken a turn for the worst. Started out as something to do as I was away visiting family on a makeshift setup using some really old speakers. I have since returned home, added some stuff (sticking with the original free vst theme) and completely overhauled the arrangement. I think it has crossed over into darkwave. Big fan of Covenant, here. Thanks to those who have commented on earlier versions, especially clindsay for the more conventional arrangement suggestions. probably not the final version, so sorry bout that! One thing I am questioning...this was originally done of really bad speakers and some cheap headphones (which was the point of this). I haven't changed overall eq while on my normal setup, but nothing is hitting my sub. Before I go turning up sub levels and changing crossover settings, some input would be much appreciated. I like how it sounds in my usual headphones, but... Acapella by LilyUndWolf.

Hey this is pretty fresh stuff! I like the energetic bass line very much! The varied and intense collection of synth lines really flow together and add up to a potent listening experience! I would agree that there isn't much sub action going on, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. Much of the instrumentation is more low-mid frequency. Possibly a more sub heavy kick could be used instead of, or in addition to your current kick in certain sections? If you did use both in certain areas, you could EQ or filter the new one to handle the very low frequencies primarily, while the other has some low cut going on. Just a thought. I really enjoyed this, and I could see it being expanded further to good results. Very fun to hear! Fave!

I can relate to this experience of a project morphing away from original concept. I am listening to this on crappy laptop internal speakers and it still sounds good. But I don't get any nuanced differential in bass frequencies on this laptop anyway. I suppose there is an ideal plugin to resolve your sub-bass dilemna but I could not tell you what it is. Excellent work and thoroughly enjoyed. Regards - Dan

Description : The tangled skein of life permeates all creation, binding the known to the unknown. This track, in its own subtle way, attempts to convey that.

Description : Just like the first EP "OGOU", this production focuses on organic elements with drum samples. It contains modern sounds such electronic down-tempo, future bass, and hip-hop, which makes the music sound old and new at the same time. With heavy sampling of African chants and sound generated from other tribes, this is production will bring more flavor and enjoyment--it's like Africa to your Ears.

Description : After a major uphill battle completing this song and turning it into what it is now, I feel some amount of satisfaction. It was like reality wanted me to give up or something. It's done... phew... Have updated this almost completely, from repatching the modular bass, playing some guitar parts, adding electric piano and synth lead, redoing and tuning the DW-6000 synth, of course adding my vocals, and mixing and mastering. It really has become pretty new wave, like much of my stuff does recently. Have added the lyrics as well. I am proud and happy with it, and I hope you all enjoy listening! UPDATE... woohoo just broke 1000 plays on this track here at looperman!

Hey finally here with a new track! I'm not sure what to call this other than electronic, due to the high tempo. This is the first song finished using my interface which allows direct MIDI control of my modular synthesizer. The mid frequency bass part is all from that patch. There are tracks designed with my Zoom RT-123 drum machine, the microkorg, and the circuit bent KORG DW-6000. Other than that it is just a kick and snare drum sample, and a a quick vocal snippet. So I guess it's fairly minimal in that respect. Would like to hear the Looperman community's thoughts on this song! Thank you for listening
