If you have time take a listen and give Musicante some feedback.
The guy on vocals seriously needs to do more, he is absolutely excellent. I mean, the whole track is top notch, but the vocals for me are just class and give the whole sound such an edge.
I can't praise it highly enough, this is some of the best music I've heard in a long time, and I'm so pleased I stumbled across it.
So this is a hybrid of Disco (4 to the floor beat for the most part) and the occasional wakka guitar and a moving bassline, but the Robbie Robertson like vocal approach the guitar soloing (phenomenal) and the bluesy edge make me feel this is a less of a true "Disco" song so we will create a new Blues-Disco hybrid we will call Blissco from now on? See if that catches hold. Otherwise a magnificient listen and production was awesome. Fav'd for sure

LOL, his last name could be Dover, 'but that's all I know about him!'
Yeah, sometimes it's hard to select a genre with the limited selections here on LM. It's usually moot, anyway, because different people hear different things. When someone notices something, like you noticing the Robbie Robertson approach, I say, "yeah, it does sound like that." Midiman suggested Charlie Daniels, and it does sound a bit like him. I hadn't noticed either of these till it was mentioned. Funny how that works.
Anyway, thanks for your kind words; always appreciated.
I read that the vocal track was Scott and now I'm mad. He has been holding out by not singing earlier? ok, so he talking, lets not split hairs. ha
This is awesome guys! Great job Kenny, you rock! I like story songs and Scott did a great job telling one. The Sax, guitar and keys work so well together. Feels more like r and b and funk during the disco. The bass is the backbone to this one, as it should be!! The mix is always top notch.
Must have listened to this about 7 times, off to dl, thanks!
Yep, that's Scott! He's a bit self conscience about his vocalizing, but says he'll do more if it calls for it since it's gotten a good response on this one.
The guys all appreciate your always kind words. We're all setting up for our next track. Thanks again.
What a cool track...fun lovin criminals the name, appears til listening this funky groovy...awesome...Scott's speech/sing is very characteristic...all in all, high standard from the band...
Dang, that bass is FIRE! Fun listen. Absolutely adored the whole piece. Whose VOICE is that? so deep and intriguing. Great work on the production! Very professional throughout. Keys were a fun and attractive addition! Your new lead guitarist compliments the band beautifully as well.
Thanks so much, Brado. So glad you like it. The vocals is our drummer, Scott Burkholder. He can't sing, but he can talk, LOL! Yes, Kenny did a fine job first time with us.

Description : This is only a snippet of a little thing I threw together today. It features the lead vocal of our own Janis71. I have added 3 harmonies to her original loop. Kinda sounds Disco-y. I am very new to audio mixing, and hence am only stabbing in the dark here.
Description : Did I mention that I almost daily listen to funk and disco whilst working? Well, it is the perfect mixture of positive vibes and a steady groove. However I found it always challenging to put a good groovy Disco / Funk songs together. I guess you already heard Silver Bellas song from the AlanMcLarenProject. This is my (totally different) version. Please tell me if your feet went into the groove :-) Cheers, Oli
Description : Inspired by true events :)
Hey Looperfam!
-The vocal is in my acapella section.
I would love to hear some remixes. It was originally recorded as punk/glam, then I found the arpeggiator.
Hit me up for hi-res source.
Have a great day!

Description : I used a sample from the song Avicii and the rest of the instruments I added myself, I made this song because I do like a melodic line ...
Description : Decided to try my hand at making a 70’s old-school Disco track, shamelessly complete with a variety of Disco cliches. Tried to write some Disco lyrics but couldn’t come up with anything worthwhile. Decided to write lyrics about our cat. Name is “Bailey”, but mostly we call her “Bailey Boo”. Vocals made with Synthesizer V Studio from Dreamtonics.
Description : A little disco, a little funk, and just feel good 70s style music. Featuring some drum, bass, and guitar solos, with some groovy horns and disco vocals. Check it out...It will do you no harm!
Description : I created a new song in the 80s disco-pop style. Well, who still remembers the days when we danced for hours in the club? Yeah... maybe we're a little older now, but the groove is still alive! or ;-)
I can't praise it highly enough, this is some of the best music I've heard in a long time, and I'm so pleased I stumbled across it.
Hats off, and thank you for sharing :)
