The intro with that bass line is amazing. As I progressed through the song I noticed the noticed just disappeared. Might be the mixing, unless you intentionally dropped. The build ups are absolutely amazing. The FX Sounds you used are pretty cool, and creative. It was a good idea adding that rap into it, wasn't expecting something like that in a dubstep track. All I can recommend is fixing the bass because it's almost completely gone throughout the song. Great Production nevertheless! Check out my tracks, and leave some feedback when you get the chance.

Yeah, I originally dropped it because I didn't think it was necessary past the intro. Multiple people have told me I'm wrong. I'm going to put it back in when I finish the tweaks.

I remixed this for my new EP, you should check it out.

Lower the reverb that you probably have on it. If you dont then fatten your base by a compressor or transient shaper(for instance)

Welcome to the world of music production! :-). A very well produced and mixed first track. Some real good effects and growls you put in. Love the part starting around 1:50. The drums sound a little hollow in comparison to the snare but that could be easily fixed. Nevertheless a great first try! respect!

Thanks for the feedback! I always love critique, and thank you for your own.

Any ideas on how to remedy this "hollowness"?

(Sorry for late reply)
Ambiance:
Try adding dark pads at your track.

"Booming" Effect:
Add some more reverb on the snares. Also, It will be more cool if you use more harder snares.

Thoroughly impressed that this is your first track! You're better than most at doing this stuff. Looking forward to your future works :)

And don't worry, I think I take the cake for most loops used in a song: https://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/168513

:)

All the best,

The intro to this song is extremely powerful, but is a little more than a minor letdown at the start because the bass seems to disappear when the drums make their full entrance. Overall though, a powerful song that with a few tweaks could end up being a killer track.

Also, don't forget to compress the sub bass as well. Many forget to do that and the bass ends up overpowering everything else.

Great meat on the bones of this track. Two things I would add is turn those drums up and EQ them and add a sub base under your wobbles. Great top bass but really does need a sub to do it justice.

I do have subbass -_-

Guess I just need to turn it up.

Are you trying to do the modern talking drop? If so then you did a good job pulling it off first time. My only note is that the first part of the track where the drums started loses the overall hype of the track, meaning add more ambiance and booming effect to the listeners so that they can feel the drop coming to them.

I hope you understand what I'm saying and btw, a good first track you've made. Still has room for improvement and hoping for more of your tracks soon. :)

What's a talking drop? LOL. I probably know what you're saying and just don't know the name for it, but just in case.

Do you have any tips on how to add "ambience" or "booming"?

Description : This is my new single! It's a little different style than I'd normally go for (deeper and darker), but I really liked the instrumental, which is my HakaN96, and just HAD to do something.

Let me know what you think of it! My mixing/mastering skills arent the best. I put the song under the Dubstep genre (because of the instrumental) but with all the singing i'm not sure if it's more popish or not. What do you think?

If you enjoyed the song please like my Facebook page! I would love to hear from you!
