Description : 2nd Part of the series! I forgot, this is an EP, since it's all three songs. "Last Day With You" will be on WIP.
I've published the EP on YouTube, you can go search my name up there! You can see a very beautiful masterpiece of an EP Cover Art (sarcasm)
Anyways, listen, enjoy, and please do give a comment! Thank you and cheers!
(Oh, and I've published this before, yes, but the reason I recapped this so that the EP would be in order.) You can see how this track got made by the suggestions in the following comments by fellow mudhoen and Spivkurl! Thanks guys!

Very pleasing and uplifting piece here! Has a kind of modern pop vibe, which I wouldn't normally listen to - but it also reminds me of popular music from other eras enough to get me into it. I was reading the comments regarding sidechaining... since you use FL, you are in luck! I find that sidechain sort of work is one of FL's strengths in recent versions. If you haven't worked with Peak Controller, then I suggest you start experimenting with it. Compared to gross beat, there are almost endless things which can be done with it, since you can control almost any parameter with the peak/envelope of any sound in the mixer... plus it includes a nice LFO. One of my favorite ways to sidechain with more subtlety is to place a peak controller on one mixer track (such as a kick drum), and make sure to turn of the "mute" so you can still hear the track... Then I'll place an EQ (like fruity PEQ2) on another track (such as bass or synth pads)... if you set up a low cut or low shelf on the EQ, and then link the gain of that band to the "peak" output of the peak controller (using "inverted" for the formula in the link to controller dialog), you can sidechain just that EQ band instead of an all encompassing gain like in gross beat. Just tune the proper frequency on the EQ band, and tune the settings of the peak controller to taste... keep in mind that with the inverted formula, you will need to adjust the "base" setting in peak controller to a more centered setting, or else the gain on the EQ band will peak REALLY HIGH. This is nice for leaving mid and high frequencies alone while providing space in the low frequencies for the kick drum and similar situations. Sorry to ramble about that, it's just a technique that I love to use. Either way, I like the composition of this track, and it was fun to hear. Thank you for sharing!

Thanks for the feedback! I'll try my best to understand what you've just said (because I'm not familiar with most of the functions you have said, but I've already seen them.)
I'll try that technique if I've experimented on such.
By the way, thanks for the compliment, and cheers!
The easiest way to use sidechain on fl studio is with gross beat. Just put on every synth the sidechain option(left below corner) and adjust the lowest point of the wave to somewhere between -1,5db - -3db and there you have your sidechain. If you like the way you did the snare roll then keep it. You are the one making the track so you decide. I like the track as it is. Well done!
Thanks for letting me know! I was using fruity love philter and did a sidechain and I was like "Where are the kicks? I can't hear em'"
I tested, I won't really clear the sba4e roll, cuz if I did, the drop would to appear random.
Thanks by the way!
hmmm... very chill i must say. there are parts on the track that needs some tweaking just like what mudhoen said. But the overall track is great and has potential.
You have created a very smooth and chilling dance track. The melody is great and the chosen synths fit like a glove.
There are a few things which easily might improve this track. You have a very nice snare roll in the build up but on 1:46 suddenly you have another short snare roll after that. You should really delete it as it takes away the mood of the track. Just let it drop in as soon as the snare roll ends. Furthermore I believe you dont use sidechaining in your track. It is very important because then your drums get more room to punch. I am not sure which DAW you use but on youtube there are a lot of tutorials on how to do it. For the rest its a realy nice track and full of potential.
Thanks!
Idk, for me the snare roll fits too but I'll check if its better without it.
I've did sidechaining on some other songs I did (not uploaded here) but I d9n't know if I am right in using it. I use Fruit Love Philtet, turning the wave low to high volume shape (a short rise) then looping the effect for the whole synth (I haven't actually tried using it on kicks)
I'm not sure if I am gonna remove the snare roll but I'm pretty sure I'll add sidechain.
I'm gonna update this ASAP
THANKS FOR YET ANOTHER FEEDBACK! U DA BEST

This is my latest, but also one of my earliest tracks.... any feedback is more than welcome, thanks :)
Description : 'The main point of this song is really about the frustrations of living in the overload of today's World of Tech. The consequences are impaired communication and that if you advance too far you end up diminishing what you had to start with, so you are way worse off.' Enjoy a 60s Rhythm with a modern deep Bass, a Sitar, a Piano from EvilPianist, a lost flute from UniverseHuston and some Oscillators :-)

Description : A demo of one of my current projects. The chorus vocal sounds like "Aaaaraashe" to me. The song is in C# minor with a nod to C# pythagorean on the chorus. The beat on the verse was inspired by the Peter Gabriel song Intruder.
Description : This is one of my earliest productions that I did at the start of my recording career. I did not have a keyboard at the time I made this song, so I improvised and used my sister's iPad and a 5 dollar GarageBand application instead, and plugged the headset jack into into my PT6 rig and did my best to turn each individual track (which were mono and there were about 25 tracks or so) into a stereo image. Then recorded vocals over it. My computer was so old and slow that I had to mix my music and then BOUNCE it to a new session - four times. My computer (which had 512 MB RAM and an 80 GB hard drive) couldn't handle more than 8 tracks at a time or it'd stop working because the processor couldn't handle it. Took me FOREVER to do. But I got it done. Had a lot of fun doing it too, even if it isn't my "best" work. I'm still happy with it, considering I didn't have many tools to choose from at the time.
Description : Long time lurker first time poster, pretty new to production n stuff, this is my first track in Ableton Live.
was going for a darkwave/synthwave sound, reminiscent of Justice, Carpenter Brut, Perturbator, ect.
Looking for some feed back, constructive criticisms or even just your thoughts if you liked it or not. This is just a rough cut on this current WIP, just the bones of it if you will.. If you have some cool title suggestions, would love to hear those too.
Thanks for listening.
