Description : This is an indie rock song with dark overtones but, overall, it is a very melodic song. I wrote and recorded it the same day and have spent a couple of weeks editing and mixing. I am happy with the sound and feel of the song and now I can share it and see what people think. Thank you for listening.

I've never heard of you before but this is pretty cool. Not the sort of thing I really ever hear on Looperman.

A real New Order vibe to that chugging, high bassline.

Maybe a bit of The Cure and Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark (OMD) with some of the synth touches.

A good, confident vocal and a bright, uplifting sound.

Vocal level sounds fine to me.

I'll give more detail later as I'm quite short of time right now.

    Big congratulations!

Hi mate, Ive reached the conclusion that my new in ear phones are absolute S*%$ ! and are probably NOT genuine samsung! Your track still sounds excellent and the EQ is fine, the vocal could do with a little more volume though! unless that is you are listening on some really cheap in ear genuine samsung phones! ha ha Regards smallpaul.

Hi mate great track, it definitely has 'The Cure' overtones, for me anyway. I would agree with the other comments as to the vocal, and also up a notch on the bass and possibly down on the treble? If I had to find a constructive criticism. Very well done anyway!

Lovely sound and unique atmosphere! I agree with danke that the vocals could be a bit louder and EQ'd a bit (maybe boost a bit around 750Hz and 3.5 KHz) to help the vocals stand out a bit more. Overall, very good song. Great job!

Very cool, brilliant track with special atmosphere...soft guitar tunes are great as the drum groovy...my personal taste is that vocs could be a tad bit louder (and should add some background vocs for the part 'til it's over'...)
Anyway, big thumbs up and for sharing with us your number!

    Handshake, Danke

    Thank you, very much,danke.

Maybe I should have gone with a louder vox mix. I do appreciate your input and will definitely consider making those changes when I eventually put it out.

    Thanks again.

Its time to see that ghost inside of me.
I don't know how long it's been going on.
Now it's time to settle down, we'll drive
the world right underground.
Do what you want to do, we've got nothing
to lose.

It's time to break every single rule.
So let's pretend we've never been to school.
We'll give all our things away and we'll
hope for a better day where we can
be ourselves and we'll do what we've
got to do.

Until it's over. Yes, it's over.
We're getting older. Til it's over.
We're getting older. It's almost over.

It's time to see that ghost inside of me.
I don't know how long it's been going on.
So let's give ourselves away and hope for
a better day.
You don't know what we've been through and
we'll do what we've got to do...

Until it's over. Yes, it's over.
We're getting older. Till it's over.
Yes, it's over. We're getting older.
It's almost over.

Description : This is my newest creation, at a stage very near to completion. No third-party mastering or mixing, as with all my tracks. Just have to fix a few tiny things. I FINALLY WAS ABLE TO MIX EVERYTHING IN THE SAME SESSION. This song has all human-played instruments - no quantization or MIDI! My brother does all the vocals except for the interlude part, which I do. My other brother plays the rhythm guitar (a Gibson Les Paul Custom - only one of 12 in the world!!) and I play the accompanying guitar (a Johnny Mar Jag and PRS). He has a lot of guitars :P A good friend of ours, Ronnie, plays the bass and another friend, Freddie, plays the drums. The drum track was done in one take (had to use an electric drum set due to time constraints - but acoustic kits are so much better). Overall, pretty satisfied with the result. Let me know your thoughts.

Description : The first track I sing on. Cheap stage mic & no fancy plugins. Heavily guitar laden to the point it's got a bit of a shoegaze thing going on. I pulled the lyrics out of my ass & yes, they're a bit silly.

Description : Hello Loopies!!!

This song was supposed to be a Bedlam Kids track, but due to the low (none) interest of Pete on continuing that project, I'll upload the remaining tracks as instrumentals as soon as I can.

For now, here's a song written almost 7 months ago, it's called Simple Things.

Hope you enjoy it!!!

Description : This track was inspired by a discussion at work. - Las Vegas has always been an onslaught of humanity. Even on its slowest days, the city is still crowded. And it goes twenty-four hours a day. Lights, sounds, movement. All of it is non-stop. - "Resident Evil - Extinction" presented a different look upon Glitter Gulch, a gambling tourist city that had been forgotten and wasted due to the end of times. - And that is what started our discussion at MORTradio. All of us here have visited Las Vegas, and have always enjoyed our time there. A lot of us here go back often. - One day, while we were embalming, all of us started talking about "end of the world" scenarios. We discussed other scenarios, such as ones like Matheson's "I am Legend", or Romero's living dead apocalypse, or Boyle's "28 Day/Weeks Later", or King's "The Stand", and we all started brainstorming as to how Las Vegas would stand if such a 'end-of-times' thing would actually happen. We agreed on this much. Whoever was trying to get out of Las Vegas, or get into it, would have to be straight forward and determined. That person would have to not think twice about leaving someone behind, or putting someone down. Seems kind of brutal, but it is the reality. - And so MORTradio came up with this track. - ROSINA DEAD VEGAS TREK was mixed on Magix Music Maker 2015, and was created using personal loops, as well as loops from the Looperman contributors that are listed below: - Chuckseabo - Hard Techno Bass

Description : BIG UPDATE 26/02/2014 - So, this was an 18 min track that I have now successfully split in two. 2nd half I uploaded a few weeks ago (Things That Should Always Be, with the bouncy 2 min reggae intro). This is the first half, which has a new mix, a mega chill, meditative ending and a little jazz thrown in for good measure. Takes a few minutes for beat to really kick in. Constantly evolving electric guitar, bass guitar, acoustic drums and lead banjo driven by fat, busy 80BPM grooves with a bit of a reggae and shuffle feel. Also: synth choir voices, dulcimer, violin, cello, shimmering pads. Builds up gradually to nice and rocking and then gets taken back down for the big comedown chill. I really don't know what sort of genre this is except 'far out'. I think it sounds more like a live band than one guy playing instruments and manipulating a DAW. Not my best track but a bit of blissful, sunny island fun. Real positive vibe here so I hope you give it a chance to unfold and unfurl. Sit back, clear your schedule and immerse yourself in these trippy sonic experiments cooked up deep in my off-planet underground laboratory. I have to send the MP3 to Earth via space courier (not cheap).
