Description : What happens when a short but hypnotic celtic intro turns into something completely different? Description : I had the idea that this lyric could be rapped over my track but not having the skills to do that repurposed Joni's masterful voice - It seems a little jarring at first but I kind of like how it fits as it goes along - My multitracked classical guitar and my constructed beat from various vst kits and 'you know who ' sampled vocal (cut up just a little). Not sure about genre

just listening to "Silver Wings" as I write this...wow, that is good, reminds me of all the music I used to listen to growing up in the early 90's grunge era...good work.
Thanks for the opinion on the track, really appreciate it. I like it in its current form too, but I think the likes of Epic Record, could really do some good stuff on it... it does have some little things that might help it sound better in general.

Its called "Ocean", must dig it out and send it to you, its pretty rough ( well my vocals are pretty rough on it) but the song has that kinda chilled vibe...

Yes that is me on everything, vocals, acoustic, bass.
It was such a lofi recording :)
I was looking back at my old demos and found this one,
I am going to have to dig out the cubase project for it now to export the stems, when I do I will send them on.
So thanks for considering having a go at it for me...
I think it was done with an Alesis USB MultiMix a few years ago and either an SM57 mic or a Audio Technica AT2020 I had, the bass is just an old Epiphone shortscale DI'ed....
Big respect to you and Looperman, I love this site...
