Description : Groove Quest.
Just playing around in the studio tracking anything and everything before I cover up the gear and hit the road for a couple weeks. Actually most of the travel will be accomplished in the air, thus the title Starship Destiny. I am already looking forward to returning to my studio as there is no other place I would rather be.

    Planet,
Thank you again and again. This community is the best. I feel comfortable opening up without having to fit into any preconceived expectation. I will soon post some symphonic compositions. For now, I'm on the road playing finger style acoustic and singing....that's it. As simple and straight forward as I can make it. Thank you for the encouragement, I continue to gain confidence thanks to my looperfriends.

I love that you are really stretching out your melodic and rhythmic themes and letting them fully develop. I love the acoustic guitar and the way that it counterbalances the electronic phrases. Best wishes to you on the road (or in the air, same concept, more comfortable...haha). Peace, Six

Thanks Six. All my bags are packed, I'm ready to go....If I can get a break and find internet access, I'll check in and perhaps report on how it's going. Thanks for the kind send off. I'll be doing the solo acoustic thing. It's the Hair Like Bob Dylan Tour....

You make me wish that I was a musician. You and the other really talented musicians on looperman are the only musicians I know without over blown egos. Great song as always. Cool beat. Love that jazz flavor.

Description : The tangled skein of life permeates all creation, binding the known to the unknown. This track, in its own subtle way, attempts to convey that.

Description : Just like the first EP "OGOU", this production focuses on organic elements with drum samples. It contains modern sounds such electronic down-tempo, future bass, and hip-hop, which makes the music sound old and new at the same time. With heavy sampling of African chants and sound generated from other tribes, this is production will bring more flavor and enjoyment--it's like Africa to your Ears.

Description : After a major uphill battle completing this song and turning it into what it is now, I feel some amount of satisfaction. It was like reality wanted me to give up or something. It's done... phew... Have updated this almost completely, from repatching the modular bass, playing some guitar parts, adding electric piano and synth lead, redoing and tuning the DW-6000 synth, of course adding my vocals, and mixing and mastering. It really has become pretty new wave, like much of my stuff does recently. Have added the lyrics as well. I am proud and happy with it, and I hope you all enjoy listening! UPDATE... woohoo just broke 1000 plays on this track here at looperman!
***original description***
Hey finally here with a new track! I'm not sure what to call this other than electronic, due to the high tempo. This is the first song finished using my interface which allows direct MIDI control of my modular synthesizer. The mid frequency bass part is all from that patch. There are tracks designed with my Zoom RT-123 drum machine, the microkorg, and the circuit bent KORG DW-6000. Other than that it is just a kick and snare drum sample, and a a quick vocal snippet. So I guess it's fairly minimal in that respect. Would like to hear the Looperman community's thoughts on this song! Thank you for listening
