You had a beautiful intro. Caught my attention with the great usage of keys with the synths coming in to accompany the keys. This is really awesome, despite not going for what you wanted the track to be like. Your creativity, however is amazing. It may lack that video game sound, but your results are amazing. I encourage you to keep working on this till you get your desired sound that you wanted. I'm actually really interested in remixing this if you'd be alright with that. What program did you use to make this?

Cool Intro....intrigued so far. As it builds great frequency spread and panning in the mix. I almost want that bass up in the mix a bit more to take the edge off the square wave ping synth sounds. But I love the concept and the song. The ping sounds are the highlight and now we have brassy synth sounds counterpointing it with a nice build wave sound but a bit letdown after that build. To make this massive you need to develop sounds to counter the counterpoint. (if that makes sense) like introducing a cool pad or other sounds as you go along just as creative. now we have glissando added to the pings with massive reverb, which sounds awesome but make it a part of something so much more. There is great potential in this one. develop it. (if you please)

yeah it definitely needs more bass, something ill be working on.
ok, so some cool pads and stuff, i can do that :), there is a pad but its very much under the rest of the song.
Thanks crucethus, theres some really good feedback in there, ill be sure to put it to good use :)

Thanks.

This is an awesome start there is so much you can do to make this track sound more alive . I just can't put my finger on what thought Mabel some kind of subtle saw synth. Unfortunately if I were to listen to this before reading the info I wouldn't know it was a video game based track. Other than that this track is a super start ! We should collab sometime man I think you and I could do something pretty cool. I just need to get in touch with the newer styles of electronic music .

haha no i started the track with the idea of making a video game style song, but it evolved to become not so video game based.. u get me? haha might not be explaining that well.

and YEAH! i know you make good quality stuff so id be happy to collab :)

I agree that it could use a few more video-game accents to it, but dang...Great job as always man. Keep it up.

Sounds pretty good so far. Perhaps it could use a little more video game sound effects but other than that.....I LIKE IT! ^____^

Description : 'The main point of this song is really about the frustrations of living in the overload of today's World of Tech. The consequences are impaired communication and that if you advance too far you end up diminishing what you had to start with, so you are way worse off.' Enjoy a 60s Rhythm with a modern deep Bass, a Sitar, a Piano from EvilPianist, a lost flute from UniverseHuston and some Oscillators :-)

Description : A demo of one of my current projects. The chorus vocal sounds like "Aaaaraashe" to me. The song is in C# minor with a nod to C# pythagorean on the chorus. The beat on the verse was inspired by the Peter Gabriel song Intruder.

Description : This is one of my earliest productions that I did at the start of my recording career. I did not have a keyboard at the time I made this song, so I improvised and used my sister's iPad and a 5 dollar GarageBand application instead, and plugged the headset jack into into my PT6 rig and did my best to turn each individual track (which were mono and there were about 25 tracks or so) into a stereo image. Then recorded vocals over it. My computer was so old and slow that I had to mix my music and then BOUNCE it to a new session - four times. My computer (which had 512 MB RAM and an 80 GB hard drive) couldn't handle more than 8 tracks at a time or it'd stop working because the processor couldn't handle it. Took me FOREVER to do. But I got it done. Had a lot of fun doing it too, even if it isn't my "best" work. I'm still happy with it, considering I didn't have many tools to choose from at the time.

Description : Long time lurker first time poster, pretty new to production n stuff, this is my first track in Ableton Live.
was going for a darkwave/synthwave sound, reminiscent of Justice, Carpenter Brut, Perturbator, ect.
Looking for some feed back, constructive criticisms or even just your thoughts if you liked it or not. This is just a rough cut on this current WIP, just the bones of it if you will.. If you have some cool title suggestions, would love to hear those too.
Thanks for listening.

Description : Far out mid-tempo fat beat deep chillout grooves with Eastern/Arabic and slightly menacing vibes, huge delayed synth bass and a great palette of psychedelic layered and intricate sounds (mostly synths) and a stirring, epic feel. Even has guitar solo section reminiscent of some 80s power rock which is then followed by a brief synth harp solo. I began making it straight after staying round the flat of the flute player from the legendary Ozric Tentacles - easily the greatest ever space rock band. I made this in about 2001 and still think it might be my best track (and it's nice and short, for a change). My production skills were much weaker in those days (no EQ, compression or mastering used here) but, somehow, this one turned out pretty much just right. Feel free to disagree. Now sit back and get ready to trip extremely far out. If you manage to return, let me know how that trip was...
