Description : Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
This is my new track Midnight In Ibiza completely unmastered(not even any volume adjustments, so there is some red-lining). I was thinking of uploading a song in its roughest form and then uploading another when it gets mastered to give some insight to new producers how important sound mastering actually is in the whole creative process. I used a lot of different sounds such as large string sections or simple saw waves to really fill out all the space in the track. Thanks for listening, and any feedback or comments are greatly appreciated!
Very good control here! I'm surprised that this sounds so good and is the unmastered version. This sounds perfect as it is. Very great choice of instrumentation. Very capturing intro. The transition at 1:45 was incredible, with a nice timing gradual come back to the main body of the track. I also love the outro. Such a gentle and string-oriented farewell for the track. Marvelous work here, my friend! Truly looking forward to hearing the complete, mastered version!
thanks for the kind words! I'm glad that you noticed what i did with the outro; I personally thought it was cool. Look for my mastered version on sound cloud!
Nice riff. I'm not noticing any clipping on my headphones so i'd say the mix is alright. I like the choice of instruments and the arrangement. The melody is good and you've got the right drops in all the right places.
I enjoyed listening to this track.

Uhm, you are obviously confusing the process of mixing with the process of mastering. I have my speakers turn down to almost nothing and this is still pretty much too loud. Volume adjustments are part of mixing, mixing should be done first. Mastering a recording like this would only make everything worse. I was going to stop listening, but realized I had made it to the end. Please mix your channels lower, much lower... then maybe you can get a good master.
The whole point of this track is to show new producers what a "rough draft" of a song sounds like. When I first started out I was really discouraged when I compared the quality of my music to say the EDM you would find on the radio. This was solely just to show people in that position that even experienced people's songs sound terrible until they go in and fine tune everything during mixing and then send it off to get mastered. Hope you enjoy the mixed and mastered version coming out soon with a download on my sound cloud!
A very peaceful track all the way through...i really like it. The atmospheric feel throughout, especially after 1:45..just incredible. Can't wait to see the finished product of this .

variation which happens around 1:45 shows we're listening to a skillfull composer who has designed & arranged this track quite measured .

Description : Another collab work with maestro Tumbleweed is here. It's a bit special this time in multiple ways. I guess this is the very first time when I didn't use any of my usual instrumentation when collabs are in question. As you probably know I'm talking about strings and piano. No matter how you prick up your ears you won't find them here. Instead , you will be witnessing the bold move of mine, which was simply joining Ed in his otherwise "untouchable" teritory....playing guitars, Yes you got that right..:) By untouchable I mean his most high standards he sets with playing his tour de force instruments. I'm just a humble servant here, playing mostly melody lines (plus some embelishments) which I composed for this piece. It's also the first time when music comes very close to a dancing style of music....this time in classical spanish/latino fashion, but not exclusively...there will be always mixed ingredients when a naughty lad like me is on board. In spite of phletora of acoustic guitars this might sound pretty minimalistic and I hope it's for the better. My sincere and special thanks to Ed for letting me contribute this way on yet another exciting journey.
Description : A psychedelic techno cello epic. It's not really techno as it's only 110 BPM but something like that (eg breakbeat), with lots of banging beats and arpeggiated acid synths, plus a whole load of my layered cello playing techniques. There aren't that many synths used but they do a lot of work and are carefully automated. No guitar. Drums are mostly a lot of drum loops, supported by a few programmed acoustic drumkits. Very busy and complicated with loads of different sections (funky, chilled, fast, heavy) that make up a constantly progressing trip. I don't know if there's any other cello music like this so let me know if you think there is. Interesting feedback appreciated - criticism, praise, ideas etc. Enjoy...
Description : Summer type dance track, for those precious 2 weeks off, if you can get them! Made around a selection of different loops and some keys from me.
Description : A song about a damaged soul. Sadly, based on a true story. Gorgeous loops here are by Hardstyle Rythm, Aboe, and Princess Hollywood. All basslines by that fiendish genius Rasputin. Take a bow, gentlemen
Description : Hello everyone here's a song from my album anymore that really is near and dear to my heart I hope you guys and enjoy it and never let anyone bring you down or tell you that you are good enough!

Description : Pretty basic dance track. Was experimenting with the Falcon synth plugin, hence the name. Instrumentation for the melody lines might be a bit unusual, more orchestral. Vocoder is from the Icarus synth plugin, a great new instrument.
