real good stuff man!

Spivkurl 2nd Jan 2015 14:06 - 11 years ago

Pretty cool mix you made here! I like the chopped vibe you managed to induce. I guess funk is not amongst my favorite genres, and Daft Punk is definitely not in my top 100 (heh), but I can totally hear your creativity and ingenuity in this mix. I will admit to not listening as closely as I should have, but I enjoyed it as music for thought. Keep at it!

This is an awesome remix!

Thnx! I try :)

ValveDriver 10th Nov 2014 08:39 - 11 years ago

Yeah, man! This is a great mix! It was a funky beast before. It does have a sort of Daft Punk thing goin' on. The production quality is top notch, too. The composition is good, and you totally made it your own without wrecking Mr. Funktastic's groovy-##### ride.

Kudos, man.

Take care.

Hey, thnx so much ValVe! Srry for the late reply, been crazy busy. The original material was too sweet even for me to wreck, lol. Other than that, I threw in my 2 cents and let it ride! haha

Peace brother

Really well done composition you have here RenzWilde . kind of reminds me of the style from mega duo Daft Punk in this one. Very good quality and excellent transitions. congrats on the outcome!!! -EazyBeatz-

RenzWilde replied 10th Nov 2014 - 11 years ago

Man, the Daft Punk comment is a huge compliment to me! My favorite album of theirs is Discovery. I tell ya, I must of listened to that album a thousand times. And watched the film Interstella 5555 just as many times. I dont try to duplicate them but their style, especially from that album, definitely has creeped it's way into what I do. I had a lot of fun with this one but I tried not to ruin the original too much, lol.

Thnx again for dropping in for a listen and the kind words! :)

Description : Sorry to bombard with the same track. Here's the final version of the track I made using an Acapella from Looperman by JakeBuzzard. Now remasterd and with sub added plus scratches and more independent equalisation on drums / doubling up on a few instruments. I've also increased the volume on the samples used and the main vocals - as mentioned before, I'm deaf in 1 ear so struggle to get a good stereo mix, honest feedback is welcomed please

Description : A dark, melodic trap instrumental with a hypnotic bounce and a smooth, atmospheric feel. The production blends haunting melodies, deep 808s, crisp drums, and subtle textures that give the beat a cinematic edge. At **148 BPM**, it moves with a fast but controlled energy, leaving plenty of room for confident flows, catchy hooks, and melodic vocals.

Perfect for artists looking for a **dark trap, melodic rap, street rap, or moody R&B-inspired sound** with a modern feel.
