i used my experience of tragic loss and how i hid my mental health issues that stemmed from it while writing it, its repetitive but has fresh verses

They have him trapped. There's nothing he can do now.

Description : I intentionally made this song minimalistic. The drums I spliced together from some drum loops I had, there's one other loop in the mix, the rest of the instruments are played by me (bass and synths). I used the excellent (and free) Cakewalk z3ta+ vst and the BBC Symphony vst. My intention was to create a very simple and dream like ambient track. Feel free to download or comment. It's a hit for me when a piece of music plays with me like that.
I haven't heard Robbie Robertson for thirty years since his Lazy River song was in the British charts so how and why I ended up there I know not.
Great tune. Great experience.
I love it's atmosphere and weirdness: the part with the rain reminds me a bit of 'Somnium' by Robert Rich.

I am liking how you did the bass here, the atmospheric sounds are nicely done which makes the track more than it appears. The space you seem to control shares a view of the open air, indeed a serenade here. This is a nice ambient mix, listened a couple times now. Interesting sounds and thanks for sharing it here. Something about it keeps saying Perfect Dark. Keep at it, Peace.
