Description : I got a challenge from friend to make deep house with original FL Studio plugins. So, no Massive, Nexus, Sylenth and other similar VSTs. Made this in about 2 hours using WASP and Harmless. I really never produced deep house so I made a combination of deep and progressive house. Here is the flp + samples if someone wants to remix this or is just curious. http://www52.zippyshare.com/v/15447077/file.html
Enjoy!

Good work. For 2 hours work and only using default FL-Studio plugins, this is excellent. Really good.

crisp, hard hitting mix man. just goes to show that you don't need expensive plugins and hardware to create an awesome track! a little bit of knowledge and practice gets you a long way. good work.

This is a very well laid out soundtrack, and to use the basic FL Studio vsts is an impressive feat. There's a saying, The best can do the most with the least. Amazing work, comrade.

This is sounding really good. Wasp is quite a difficult synth to get good sounds out of and for some reason i don't have harmless so i can't comment on the sounds from that. Like the side chaining effect you used on the synth and the melodies are great.
Dig the vibe of this track.

Yes I agree. These plugins can be very useful if you know what you are doing. Harmless is really helpful plugin where you can choose between different sound wawes and set frequencies... However, thank you for listening, it's much appreciated!

Yeah man that's nice Deep!
A lot of people don't realize how capable those vst's are.
I had FL Studio for over a year and never touched any of the included plugins. I tried a similar experiment on my "Psychosilliscope" track with Wasp and 3Xosc.

Yeah if you put effort you can get amazing sounds though this plugins are not so popular. I will check your track later :) Thanks for stopping by!

For two hours plus the vst's you used and the fact it was your first shot at a genre, you did an awesome job! I really quite enjoyed this track and would like to hear more in the future.

Thanks for the listen! :)

wow just 2 hrs.... some skills brother... I've never been in house music so I couldn't tell deep house from progressive house...

For me the repetitiveness makes the track a bit mono tone... maybe that's just me though.. I would have liked to have heard maybe one or two more elements maybe a break down or two...

horses for course though...eh?....keep 'em coming brother
AZZYKO
AZZYKO replied 7th Sep 2014 - 12 years ago
Thanks Phyruis! Yes it's repetitive but that's main feature of this genre... This song is chilly house and with breaks and progressions it wouldn't be so relaxing... I hope you understand me. :) Thank you again for listening!
