Description : A cinematic piece which has a bigger story to be told. I hope redemption is a part of it. Having added a more calming section for the redemption I still feel a piece is missing there to really pull in that feeling. It will come to me I am sure.

If you have time take a listen and give Smpulse some feedback.
I'm not so keen on phased strings but keep them if you are.
I like the lead part that comes in 0:48. Might be a VST guitar.
Good bass stuff. Sounds like double bass, maybe some cello in there too.
There are some quite effective triplets in this piece eg from that lead guitar type of instrument.
Slow introduction of the drums works quite well.
Maybe it's slightly too samey but it does sit nicely and there's good movement going on so it's certainly not boring. Probably just the right amount of activity for soundtrack music that you don't want to interfere with dialogue.
Overall, I think this could be improved with some higher quality instruments but I appreciate that you're using what you've got. However, I have updated pieces of music by replacing older parts with better synth/sample-based instruments that I have bought/acquired since starting the piece.
I hope you didn't miss the recent Black Friday weekend crazy sales. I bought some great stuff online at 70% off. Got some lovely new sample instruments, including harps, sitar, guitar, koto and many more. Now I can update older sitar parts with the much better samples I now have.
I definitely agree with the quality. I missed those good sales since my one job lays me off this time of year and Christmas coming I couldn't really buy anything. I am still working on trying to add enough of a mix in these pieces to make it interesting enough. Its harder with these slower moving cinematic pieces without disrupting its intention and not making them too long. Good ear on the double bass and cello. The lead is a guitar vst and yes I can't wait to be able to update these pieces. I have a lot of work that needs updating. As I learn I have to go back over them all and I think that needs fixing that needs fixing. Its never ending lol. Thanks for the ear and the comment Static!
Thank you very much e. It is still coming into focus. I have removed the violins and am calming that section for a more redemptive feeling as the soul returns. I really appreciate the comment and the fav!
The Strings sound phased, reminds me a bit of ultravox. With just a sprinkling of Tangerine Dream thrown in (Legend, movie soundrack) I like when the drums come in, really focuses the melody in this, Nicely done.
Steve
Thanks for the comment Steve!! I'll have to give that soundtrack a listen again. I am glad I'm not the only one on here that has listened to tangerine dream. Some of the best early 80's soundtracks ever lol. I'll have to look up ultavox. I've heard of them but not familiar with their music. I am from the early 80's new age movement and one of my favs was night noise. I do love a phased string sound. Thanks again
Very good intro .... then with a feeling of helplessness, of disarray .... and sadness. You seem to bring it here, maybe an experience. This is at least what I feel listening .... Hopefully this is just my imagination.
You kind of nailed it. My emotions came through in this piece and for that I am happy. I hope it didnt bring you into it too much lol. Thank you very much for sharing what this emotions this brought oit.
Thanks danke. I appreciate your continued comments. Iv updated this to include an outo of sorts. I am currently without internet and have limited ability to listen but soon I will be back to return the love. Thank you

Description : First off, a big thank you to Condybeats for his guitar and Rasputin for the Rhodes. As soon as I heard the guitar, I had immediate imagery. Play the track all the way through to unfold the story. Very cinematic!

Description : Ok...here it is! Another colab with maestro Tumbleweed! Ed provided the unfinished, basic track...I composed and recorded the long intro using different synths and then added piano (well to the fore) and some brass arrangements along the rest of the track (no violin this time...hehe) and then did the final mixing to wrap it up as it is presented now. I hope you will enjoy it and we both appreciate your listening time and your valuable comments:) Otherwise all thanks to Ed!
Description : Just send me the link where you use that, please

Description : Dark, slow, ambient, cinematic jazz with funereal piano turning into something much funkier, psychedelic and beautiful in the second half. Out of the darkness and into the light, you could say. Instruments: electric guitar + bass, lots of synth sounds, including a horn, double bass, another big legato bass, pizzicato strings, two types of piano, a heavily delayed slide guitar instrument, zither, synth arp, one brushy drum loop, kettle drum rolls and 4 programmed acoustic drum kits. This is quite a special track for me and is only the second I've put in the cinematic genre. The more you listen, the more it changes (it even has key changes) and the last three minutes are really quite far out and should probably be longer. Best track I've made for a few months. Interesting thoughts and reflections appreciated. Free sex for the best reviews...
This track is an elaboration of dgalantic’s track “Starting Over 0172257.” It is almost entirely comprised of loops by other artists on looperman. The newsreel in the intro section is from public domain footage of the Vietnam War. Prince Fatty chimes later in with some words of wisdom. The track was sequenced with Mixtikl and edited in Audacity.
Loops from the following artists are included:
1. ThatJeffCarter’s guitar “feedback 197765”
2. three of Nightingale’s harmonica trills: “angels 0088377, inner light 0088361 and never and never 0088366”
3. Heavily fx’ed vocal excerpts from Eshar’s “7th Dimension 0002644”
4. Dcmack’s rhythm loops “2 bass drums 1- 0085449, 2- 0085446, and 4- 0085448.”
5. Steelyvibe’s choral wash “luno frunezo 0005719”
6. Nightingale’s guitar loop “diving deep 0043488”
7. Rasputin1963’s chorals “ soul ladies gospel riff 0088641 and reggae soul girls choir 0087693”

Description : So a new track for everyone. Im pretty impressed by this one, and would even place it higher than one of my best tracks, Angel And A Demon. However, I'm trying to decide whether or not I should put vocals to it. I have some in mjnd, but idk if itd be better to leave as is and keep it instrumental or not. Take a listen and let me know! Also, let me know if anything is too loud, still working on my mastering.
Description : NEVER STOP DREAMING!
