hey ! what a great list abouT usage of their loops ! Bear ,FerryTerY,planet jazz Bass ...just if U add Ed Cunningham & Roger waters too my favorite list would be completed S.J ! haha...but beyond kidding , your considere usage is so admirable , I speciallY like @ 2': 10'' when some variation happens for a while & more than that at ending movements when theme changes to an african groovY so profesiional & doesn'T remain for me no way but a new favorite mark @ 3':09'' ...dear colleague S.J , the way U're thrive & improve your musiX is so wonderfull, worthy of adoration & notable . best wishes.___Behnam

Good one!
Definitely thanks to you all we are giving a new definition of latin-mambo and I like it a lot!
Ciao, Domenico

By the way...it's friday, the sun's shining here, I have all this latin music around me... just where's my mojito?

SeriouslyJoking replied 19th Jul 2013 - 13 years ago

Oh, I'm out of those green mint leaves for the moment but you'll have your mojito sooner or later!
It was a fun genre to work with - thanks for listening, Domenico!

SeriouslyJoking replied 19th Jul 2013 - 13 years ago

The what?!! Hahaha - the horses like their new gear, though. Thanks for stopping by and say hello to your cat from me.

Well this got my booty shaking thats for sure!

I found this very trippy for mambo, but very enjoyable!

so good work man!

peace and happy feet all the way man!

SeriouslyJoking replied 19th Jul 2013 - 13 years ago

Sounds great, thanks! =D
I don't know about the genre at all but it had to be some latin flavour in there to fit in to Mambo Week.
Mine turned mumbo on me...or mOmbo if you are an american.

But if it makes you dance, then it's all good!
Cheers!

Hello ....

Arrangement also very interesting and astute here .... Maybe a little too much reverb in the very sensual female voice .... But a secondary detail because, I listens with pleasure to ....
.... The sun, sometimes brings pleasant reactions and joie de vivre, shared by this kind of music.

Hi Dan and thanks for listening!
Yes, I tend to overuse the reveerb for some reason. Going to check in on that and some more flaws later on.
Have a great day!

Electro, funky, samba, mambo!!! Great job, this got me dancing on the table!! Not a pretty sight! Well done you.

Haha - I'm joining you up there!
Thanks for listening.

crucethus 19th Jul 2013 05:09 - 13 years ago

Ahh! interesting creativity here. You have the chord progression of Neil Young's Like a Hurricane (One of my favourites interpreted by Bryan ferry)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CbsTMkttmWM&html5=1
(bossa nova latin arranged)
I have listened more than once now and I like it the more I listen to it, so nice work for Mambo Week!
You Deserve a Cubre Libre for your efforts!

Just watched that video and oh - I love the backround singers!
Thanks Steve - I'll have the drink and join Kenny on the table then.
Have a nice day!

Very good SJ! I'm more of a salsa man but I'm definitely diggin this tune. Love the faint flute sounds in here. Great vocals for this piece as well. You get an A grade on this one. =B-)

SeriouslyJoking replied 19th Jul 2013 - 13 years ago

Oh gaaawd - he's a salsa man! Have to pass you over to my friend then. She loves salsa. =D
But seriously - thanks!
The flutes were a new thing for me, have to thank our friend Behnam for inspiration there. But they were surprisingly easy to fit in, who would have known...

Have a great day Dan!

Electronic gothic track.
When I heard this acapella by ALAA EZZEDDINE I was really impressed. Ok, did lots of tweaking to make it sound properly and fit in the track. Actually his lyrics described what I have had gone through...
Enjoy and take care :) :) :)
