There is an interesting musical analogy among "Musicians". There are people who make loops. there are people who use the loops to combine together in an arrangement to make great music. There are composers who write there ideas on paper for orchestras to perform. There are people who make music as a talented instrumentalists. There are people who combine computer algorithms to make splendid sounds in software. There are people who produce music by suggesting proper placement of instruments and ideas and arrangements. There are people who make recorded sounds sound even better with there understanding of sound engineering technology. There are people who are good at all or some of the above talents. All are welcome in the world of creative music equally. Why because you are creating something new that no one has ever heard before, and that is special. So don't ever discount what you do or how you do it even if you did not make the loops, because your talent is combining them to make a piece of art that others enjoy.!

Thanks for your words... but as I said to SeriouslyJoking, I feel I'm not composing.
I just mix loops and no more than this.
I want to create... create my own music... only mine.
I want to be able to express my ideas.
That's the only thing I want. To create.
Thanks for taking your time to comment. :)

This is really well put together although it's leaning more on the side of breaks than techno. Not that it matters. The tune reminds me a little of Y4K stuff with nice swirly noises trippy drops and a subtle blend of synths.

Sounds really good to me!

***
I wrote a long blabla-thing about how puttin loops together infact is composing - and that you really are creating something bigger than just the loops on their own and that it is a big achievement.
Not everybody can make a song out of loops - and certainly not a good song like this one. So you have that something - a musical ear and talent - and that will be very helpful when you start creating your own stuff.

Oh, cr*p - now I wrote a long blabla anyway.
Really liked this song!
Take care!

Thanks for your words, but I feel I'm not creating. I mean, the songs I make are just mine on 50% . If I create the loops, the song will be of my own on 100%.
Well, I think that.
Thanks for share your time with me! :)

Very cinematic, I see this in an action movie. Reminds me a lot of the techno at the begging of the 1990's. good work here.

Thanks for your words. But I wonder why you call me by my real name (i'm NOT annoyed, just wondering, 'cause most users call me by my nickname/username (Soleil). That's so kind for me ^-^ ). But, I don't know what you think about me. It seems to me that you think I compose music. I don't. I can't create anything. Not yet. I just play with loops wich I don't make. No more. I think you know music. I'd like to know too. Anyway...
Thanks for listening to me! :D

Description : 4!_(07@2nd) harmonic protocol reboot sequence

This track is an elaboration of dgalantic’s track “Starting Over 0172257.” It is almost entirely comprised of loops by other artists on looperman. The newsreel in the intro section is from public domain footage of the Vietnam War. Prince Fatty chimes later in with some words of wisdom. The track was sequenced with Mixtikl and edited in Audacity.

Loops from the following artists are included:
1. ThatJeffCarter’s guitar “feedback 197765”
2. three of Nightingale’s harmonica trills: “angels 0088377, inner light 0088361 and never and never 0088366”
3. Heavily fx’ed vocal excerpts from Eshar’s “7th Dimension 0002644”
4. Dcmack’s rhythm loops “2 bass drums 1- 0085449, 2- 0085446, and 4- 0085448.”
5. Steelyvibe’s choral wash “luno frunezo 0005719”
6. Nightingale’s guitar loop “diving deep 0043488”
7. Rasputin1963’s chorals “ soul ladies gospel riff 0088641 and reggae soul girls choir 0087693”
Genre: Cinematic

Description : Dark, slow, ambient, cinematic jazz with funereal piano turning into something much funkier, psychedelic and beautiful in the second half. Out of the darkness and into the light, you could say. Instruments: electric guitar + bass, lots of synth sounds, including a horn, double bass, another big legato bass, pizzicato strings, two types of piano, a heavily delayed slide guitar instrument, zither, synth arp, one brushy drum loop, kettle drum rolls and 4 programmed acoustic drum kits. This is quite a special track for me and is only the second I've put in the cinematic genre. The more you listen, the more it changes (it even has key changes) and the last three minutes are really quite far out and should probably be longer. Best track I've made for a few months. Interesting thoughts and reflections appreciated. Free sex for the best reviews...

Description : I'm going to file this under Cinematic. It's quite a dark and brooding track, maybe suitable for a Sci Fi film? I kept things simple with this, used a few loops as building blocks, then added some synths (Vital and Z3ta+ vst's). Probably a bit different to the other tracks I've uploaded so far? But I like a bit of variety. Feel free to download or comment. I appreciate any feedback. Thanks.

Description : It's been a long time since I posted a track.

Voyager...
I wanted to go with something very spacey. Huge sci-fi fan, from anime to cheesy 60's B movies. I didn't want something all dystopian. It's been done. So, I kinda thought I would make something about a lonely space traveler. I named the track after the Voyager I space satellite. The 'Voyager' in my head(vision?) was just an astronaut. But, he watches the earth die. The last person alive scenario. Hard to imagine what the last person alive would have in his head....

Track Detail - Sequenced in Reason 4. Nothing on this is a real instrument. The intro pad is a weird little Malstrom patch with a envelope filter and chorus. The chorus module is cv modulated non synced so its kind of wild. The first pluck instrument is a Koto. It's not played the way it should so it sounds more like an acoustic guitar. The violins are a Mellotron patch. The acoustic guitar isn't a preset patch but was made using Reason's other presets. I like that patch. Could of tried recording a guitar but I found that mock up to be alright. Other sounds were some weird modulated textures made with Thor. Drums were just samples that were filtered and pitched to fit. Kick and snare played off my Axioms pads. Hats were in a Redrum module.

Listen and enjoy. If you don't like it, leave me violent feedback lol. Cheers :D
