Description : A while back I put a few words to the Bear's track Sandy Hook Elementary (https://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/136379 ) as it really moved me to do so and we kept it for our own pleasure. Then after the events in London this week where a young soldier was murdered in the streets, I asked Bear if I could post it here and he graciously agreed. I've re-written the last verse and I dedicate this to the victims of senseless killings everywhere.

I see that you are a sensitive guy and it's shows in this track. You took me back to when this happened in my neighborhood. Senseless killings is so rapid in this country that it hurts. Thank you for this song and the heart you shared with us all.

Hey bro. It's hard not to want to say or do something when this happens, which is why The Bear wrote the music in the first place.

Mr. Bear's piece is really good on its own. Add your vocals, it just gives it so much MORE meaning!

So, much going on in the world today! This could be "re-done" by 1000 more artists, in 100 different languages, all with different sadnesses, and I'm sure they would touch us just the same.

wow...I think I have listened to all the versions of this one Kenny and it never fails to move me every time...there is no more talented musical company than our friend Bear who did such a superb job on this one....I love your vocal character (I`m still going to hit you up one of these days when I get the right track)...its kind of something you either have or you don`t.....well written too by the way and very much enjopyed over my way......Ed.......and PS: big thanks for the blues my friend. I was a bit surprised by how many of our Looperfriends got involved and it just was a great example of the power of music (in its various forms) to bring creative people together....a great thing.
