i used my experience of tragic loss and how i hid my mental health issues that stemmed from it while writing it, its repetitive but has fresh verses

They have him trapped. There's nothing he can do now.

Description : I intentionally made this song minimalistic. The drums I spliced together from some drum loops I had, there's one other loop in the mix, the rest of the instruments are played by me (bass and synths). I used the excellent (and free) Cakewalk z3ta+ vst and the BBC Symphony vst. My intention was to create a very simple and dream like ambient track. Feel free to download or comment. We, my wife and I, spent the entire first day of the year in each other's company. No one else was around us. Sure we met other folks when we walked to the store in the rain and back again but even then it was just her and I. The entire day.
