The first thing I immediately started doing when this track started was like beatbox-bum a secondary bassline. So maybe if you ever redid this you could kinda copy what I did on the Lightswitch songs and add an extra bass channel or 2.

Or not, this track seems to stand on it's own very well. And it's light layers would make it perfect for mash-up remix purposes. In fact, I dunno why, but this reminds me of a Paul Van Dyk track on his album Seven Ways. Maybe you could do something with that. I've already remixed him so I figure I should skip it.

Okay, nuff suggestions, the pad buildup in the third minute is outstanding. Kinda had me holding my beathe in wait for it to kick in fully. The following drop down of pads into the reintroduction of the Leads was also great. Kinda like the two of them are fighting for the limelight in this one. Thanks for sharing mate. Looking forward to more. Later on!

I'm dreaming... great track Hunta, I really like how at certain points it slows into a very dreamy trance part then back up into a trance blaze again, so cool. The build ups a top notch too, I'm diggin it, there are a lot of pay-offs in this one. Kudos Hunta!!!!

Hey mate!!! LOve the bass and the kick is bangin. Only thing I felt straight away is the seperation on the kick..I always feel you should keep the kick right in the middle of the mix then everything else sounds bigger!! Take a wee listen to my song London 0300. Thats pretty much what i tried to do...

The synth on this and the sidechaining is top notch too!!! I really think the only thing is the kick. Think if yo center it and lift the lower end it'll come together!! Hope that helps mate!! Great tune.!!

thanks for your thoughts mate. I thought that about the seperation myself but i just seemed to make it beefier on my system but i listened to it with heaphones and it sounded pretty bizarre. so thanks for the tip. I have just been having a look at our track there and i don't really know what else to do with it. i can finish the arrangement but apart from that its got all the relevent parts. what do u think? any ideas. i am suffereing a little from block i think!

The quality and build are great in my opinion, really cool track but i think that the bass should be a bit more centered i don't know if it's just me or my speakers but i felt it had too much stereo separation. The ending panned effect was really cool btw

Description : Shorten My Days is a deeply personal prayer about examining the true intentions behind our relationship with God. It wrestles with the uncomfortable question of whether we seek Him because we genuinely love Him, or because of what we want from Him and the world around us. It is a plea for God to strip away selfish motives, sustain us through life's battles, and teach us to live in a way that brings glory to His name.
