Great use of the low tones and basses. Most low and slow stuff I hear gets really... um... hmmm... smushed. Can't undestand it usually, but you did pretty good with the low stuff. Great song.

alientapeplayer replied 2nd Jan 2013 - 13 years ago

Thank you anonami. I understand what you are talking about with the sounds getting "smushed" together. in fl studio, you can just right click on the instrument and select "cut itself" to keep the sound from bleeding. I have more music up on my myspace and purevolume. if you want the link id be glad to share it. Cheers and happy new years!

Description : I'm gonna file this under Drum and Bass due to the beats I used. Though it's probably not DnB in the strictest sense of the word, as it starts off with a Cinematic vibe till the beats kick in (apologies for that, as I don't have a vast knowledge of DnB!). Apart from the beats and a couple of other loops, all synth/bass parts are played by me using ThornCM, Poly Max and Z3ta+ vst's. Let me know what you think? All feedback is always appreciated. Thanks.

Description : Technology is a great thing. But I'm glad to know that if it ever fails ... or simply isn't there ... I can always play my guitar or drums, or just sing. In any case, the power didn't go out during this production ... so it's electric. And eclectic.
