Bossa Nova Twist - MystirP
10th Dec 2012 02:14 - 13 years ago
Description : A record scratch loop to give it that way back in the day feeling because it reminded me of a bossa novian beat song my mom used to play on an old record player. Also we had, when I was a kid, an old plastic organ with a built in beat machine which had a bossa novian beat. I looked up bossa nova and there is no official bossa nova beat but then there is. I dunno. However, this is a bossa nova beat and the song and loops were composed around this beat. Hope you enjoy. One more thing Looperpeeps. I don't mind sharing. But there are downloads of my compositions and no comments. Contact me if you want this.

Description : I'm gonna file this under Drum and Bass due to the beats I used. Though it's probably not DnB in the strictest sense of the word, as it starts off with a Cinematic vibe till the beats kick in (apologies for that, as I don't have a vast knowledge of DnB!). Apart from the beats and a couple of other loops, all synth/bass parts are played by me using ThornCM, Poly Max and Z3ta+ vst's. Let me know what you think? All feedback is always appreciated. Thanks.

Description : Technology is a great thing. But I'm glad to know that if it ever fails ... or simply isn't there ... I can always play my guitar or drums, or just sing. In any case, the power didn't go out during this production ... so it's electric. And eclectic.

Description : Atmospheric, late-night UK garage and liquid drum & bass blending deep rolling basslines, shuffled breakbeats, intimate breathy female vocals and rhythmic DJ turntablism. Chopped vocal samples and hypnotic hooks.
