Description : Just in time for Halloween. BEWARE this has adult content. Not because of silly words; but the truly dangerous... "ideas" Specifically the traumatic reality that makes people uncomfortable, myself included. Spooky acapella from JJ Weelk, To Love A Monster. Spooky music by me.

Hey JJ! Everything is going swimmingly with me. I just went to sound cloud and now I'm following you. (there's no un-creepy way of saying that) . I don't have anything on there yet; but I will soon.

I'm not from Portland, don't play out much. I'm a southern Oregon baby! :)

Wow, ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!!!!

It's like you read my mind, and knew!! You're vision is spot on- made the reality even more terrifying!

You are incredible, I am completely in awe. It doesn't cease to amaze me the talent I find on Looperman daily, especially when someone like you can come along and turn a very average acapella into a mind-blowing (or maybe mind-raping?) track.

Just when I thought I wouldn't hear a better analogy than getting fucked in the ear pussy you come out with mind-raping. I nearly pissed myself when I read that.

Thank you so much for the kind words. Your voice has a raw beauty to it and your harmonies makes me sigh while clutching my chest, furrowed brown and all. Do you live in Portland? Do you play out? I feel I may have met you. Anyway thanx for posting your... apparently you can't pluralize acapella:/

I've tried to make a track using that same vocals from Mz weekz but I failed. What you have here is what I tried to accomplish but couldn't. I thought you matched the feeling perfectly like a beauty black sky with a bright lit moon. Cool music and great for the season at hand. Maybe I'm just too strange but this music really shocks the mind and gets me thinking deeper and deeper. I enjoyed the listen and thank you for sharing your work with us here. Keep expressing the true feelings. Very creative work atomsapple. Peace.

Thanx. I know what you mean regarding dark content provoking thought. I'm a big PTA fan and alot of his movies touch on this. I always feel weird recommending this; but Mysterious Skin by Gregg Arakai is a great movie on this tragic subject. I checked out you stuff. Very cool.

Description : A song I wrote over a guitar track that I found on YouTube. Link to the original track can be found below.

Have been attempting to write 2-3 songs over the past couple of months with little success, when this one just appeared out of nowhere.

It's a bit odd I guess (which is why I tagged it as weird) but I enjoyed creating and listening back to it, so here it is.

Thank you!

And, as an extra point, this is my first song in english. My native language is spanish, my english is not perfect, so sorry for mistakes (grammar, pronunciation, etc). Well, about lyrics, I explain the story on description of the instrumental version. Description : So i did a bit of sound design on an interview i watched (its not a film or anything with reserved rights so Looper Admin finna chill out, lol)
its of a lady who committed a crime of passion, tortured her BF for 3 days before killing him because he had "snitched" and put many people in Jail.she shows no remorse at all and is presentably a very highly intelligent individual..this is a project i did.
basically some cinematic ambiance to accompany the tone of the convo and at the end i just put some simple loops of strings, arps and a nice killer guitar...didnt work hard on the drums tho..i dont know what genre this is so i will put it under "weird" then sit in a corner and cry coz no one listens to weird stuff lol

Description : Again not sure of genre but it is kinda weird. Very much an experiment and Im not sure if it works but someone will let me know no doubt. If you can cope at all probably better with headphones. Pad sound is guitar treated with reverbs, crazy drums constructed from Akai kits and free jazz SFZ kit, sax samples and minimal synth line from arturia minifreak

Description : I found an old recording of me playing guitar on 8-track and decided to use it in a new track. All parts have been recorded using analogue equipment. I've then slowed down, sped up or reversed as I recorded them digitally. Then came the difficult part, attempting to piece it all together in ableton without everything being too out of time (there's no way to make it perfect).
Once I'd EQ'd out some of the loudest hiss, I started applying effects and eventually mastering it all.
What you get as a final product is a simple song executed in a very weird way. I'm quite happy with the disorienting effect. I hope you like it too :)
