Description : This is a complete redo of a Jazz track I wrote a while ago and uploaded earlier this year. I attempted to remaster the original, and it bit me. So I bit back and here's the result. Finally am getting here to listen what you have put up. I chose this tune of yours as I wanted to hear Pat's vocals on it. She has done a couple songs for me and they went over well. But this type of music fits her style like a glove.
So Kudos to you and her for putting this arrangement together. very well done.

Fabulous work here, absolutely top shelf material. You have this marvelous way of coaxing every last ounce out of Patricia's vocals.....amazing work from your instrumentation to your engineering. This one is truly a work of art and an absolute pleasure to listen to.
I'm excited for the CD release. Put me down for a copy as soon as it drops. Two of my favorite artists on the same CD....it doesn't get any better than that :)

It's always good to have you stop by and post some comments. Working with Patricia's vocals gives me a great platform to construct a song from. Great timbre, amazing inflexions, soulful, tasteful and intelligent lyrics. It puts enormous pressure on me trying to do justice to it all and I'm so happy to have such great compliments from you. I have to say I enjoy the challenge immensely!

Yes I have done a little work on the track since you first heard it and I'm really pleased to have an educated ear notice. Thank you. The analogy of the "gem cutter" works well for me. Patricia's voice is so beautiful and it's such a responsibility when constructing a track and finally mixing and mastering it. I always want to protect and maintain that timbre she has while at the same time try to make it "shine". A challenge I will never get tired of.
