Thanks for listening and thanks for the advice. I'm not well-versed in all the sub-genres of Trance but if this has an "old school" feel, then I need to check out some more old school Trance!

For your first try at Trance it's really good. I could not stop listening to it. I do agree with Spivkurl the string sounds are great. Very good, thank you and god bless.

I agree with Spivkurl. Good uplifting track.

ggoodrick33 replied 22nd Jun 2012 - 14 years ago

Thanks for listening. Just about all the sounds are stock Sylenth1 presets. It's an amazing soft synth.

Spivkurl 21st Jun 2012 15:27 - 14 years ago

This is really cool, especially for your first try! Really cool bass line! This has sort of an 80's vibe to it! Great strings! Very uplifting song!

ggoodrick33 replied 22nd Jun 2012 - 14 years ago

My love of 80s music must be showing! Thanks for noticing and thanks for taking time to listen and comment.

Description : For some odd reason, the titular acapella I used for this remix had vanished from Looperman. Luckily, I saved it before it disappeared.

Anyway, props to Stephanie Kay for this acapella! I've always wanted to remix Stars Collide, but I never got around to finally making a good instrumental for it. The acapella was akin to that of Genki Rockets' work (ESPECIALLY the lyrics), so I tried to retain the same vibe. Enjoy!

Description : This is a worship song celebrating God's beautiful creation, unfailing grace, and boundless love. It reflects on the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, the gift of salvation, and the light of God that shines even in the deepest darkness. It is a reminder to rise each day with gratitude and give praise to the One who saves, guides, and sustains us.
