You know you two are a great show together. Nothing but pure enjoyable listening when I see you guys pop up everywhere on this site. Richie with his great musical talents always gives you the much extra support you need to lay your great vocal talents down so smooth and satisfying. A natural good flow between the beat and the voice here.
This made me feel like I was listening to the oldies stations playing nothing but the greatest hits of all time. You know those instant classics that pop up out of the blue and the day turns around for that little moment of real smiles.
Great work as many times you both have done before. Definitely keep this fun and great sounds coming. I enjoyed the listen and grabbed me a copy. Thanks for sharing Patricia. Have a good1. Peace.
ok ....so i while i was listening to this i was picturing you in the vocal booth, ritchie at the mixing board with the engineer and some record execs...looking through the glass.you know back in the day when everyone at the label came to see a magical event....ok ok so it was just my imagination once again ,,,runnin away wit me...lol...however the truth of the matter is this ...that was a truly awesome collaboration and i'm glad the little thing popped up saying that you were featured in song....nuff said!!
Wow! You guys nailed that classic blues sound like Wesley Snipes nails his tax bills with his paper shredder. Now you might think that's a strange analogy but let me tell you nobody, but nobody shreds tax bills like Wesley Snipes!
That's how good this track is!

This track is just amazing and should be put out to the masses, your voice is just stunning and if you cannot go a long way with it, then there is something wrong. Richie's wonderful backing does it full justice and this track should go a long way.Congratulations to you both for a great track.
Best Regards,
Truegrit
It’s criminal that this song has only received 9 reviews, nevertheless an absolutely outstanding job done by both you and Richie on this P. this is truly an incredible piece of music and one of the finest pieces on the loop. Bravo to the both of you.
Here! it is sufficient to be absent a few days, for an event as exciting, as I listening now with chills all over, sometimes ....
You need to meet you virtually, any two ....and it is done today. I have great respect for your talent, and your work.
A truly surprising moment of mutual passion, and audio quality .... Despite the distances.
I have no other words in English to express what I feel, sorry, but my congratulations.... As some already expressed, you put any two, the bar very, very high ....
With all apologies to any religious sensibilities, your home page is going to become a Mecca for music lovers and the path is going to be beaten far and wide with the coming and goings of the multitudes...I grew up on the blues, but typically early on it was the white twelve bar variety synthesised by a legion of plagiarists mainly from England, light years removed from this variety...This just has everything, the whole song is a sweet spot..The Staple Singers couldn't do better,I'm totally blown away by those harmonies..there's such a great balance between you and Richie, very professional,in fact it's better than that...it's organic..it's alive.....I really wish I was getting paid by some music rag and giving a full length critique here, because I would wax lyrical and at great length....the music you two are creating is an accretion from dues well paid over an obviously well focused time...it not only deserves but demands respect......Superb! cheers Dave
Strange that I was having a conversation the other day about sparking up a blues career, the joke was my headline approach "Patty Blows The Blues", it was funny.
Anyway, I figure you don't need a great voice to sing blues, most people who listen to it are already in some sort of dysfunctional state of mind so I wouldn't have to work hard at live shows AND if I can come up with 17 more songs I'd have a pretty good following and I'd be able to generate shows in no time. Now that I think about it, I just might work haha.
Any way, Richie informed me this is no typical 12 bar blues, in fact I got a very helpful crash course in what makes 12 bar blues 12 bar blues.
And just so my reply doesn't ooze of length, thanks Dave. I really do appreciate it, and whatever the genre, I think I can count on you to be somewhere in there...even it if is just giving a "full length critique", which is a pretty big and important job :-)
I'm really amazed how you both come up to such a perfect balance together !!!
Great song... Patricia, your background harmonies make me speechless, as usual...
Richie, is that a Fender Rhodes I hear ? This sound is very warm, pure delight along with your guitar tone... Great choice on your sounds as usual... I like the way this beat changes the mood you'd expect from that chord progression... The whole is a very nice song... Reminds me of my childhood... I don't know much about the lyrics ( sorry Patricia, I'll have to listen 2nd and 3rd time lol ) but it gives me a very peaceful feeling....
Thanks for sharing this pleasant moment of music...
Childhood blues memories huh? So glad you enjoyed it. The lyrics are posted above.
I REALLY like this one, I don't know how high this bar goes but Richie has really set it high, I really appreciate his time, effort and collaborative efforts, high five to ya Richie :-)

Description : Did you ever have those days when you are totally distracted? You find yourself switching from one thing to another due to overwhelm - say hallo to 'ADHD' But this time we could focus on the song and used some loops from Hysteria and Bigishi. And a big thanks to James who did help us with the guitars. (He was in the mood for blues :-) We are on Bandcamp as kayos2 Tell us what you think of this track....
Description : Of all the classic Monster tales the Wolfman is definitely one of the saddest. Cursed, and destined to live as both man and monster. During the day he sits alone with his guitar, a prisoner of lonely existence, crying his heart out through his music. Then at night, the beast emerges, and in the dark under a full moon, he cry's as he rips the hearts out of his victims! Such is the life of a cursed bluesman!
Description : Hopefully it is the first song of an imaginary album that I will call "Diverse waves". I believe the title of this "album" will keep me focused on a style that incorporates and blends various musical elements for the pleasure of our ears.
I really hope you will like the results of this attempt.
Description : This is a tune dedicated to my friend, Nancy, who followed me to the clubs I played at for years, and is still following me with my studio work. Why do I dedicate this to her? Onnacounta cause she's soooooo naughty! She never liked violins, but loved her sax! Here's to you, Nancy. Anyway, this is a little blues track with some nice guitar and sex...oh, sorry, I mean sax.
Description : guitar on right run thru my friends mesa rec 25. It has an absolutely gorgeous tone. The guitar playing D, C #, B is run thru guitar rig 6. The the pushed back guitar on the left is also run thru the mesa. My UNC chapel-hill decision letter is coming out tomorrow and I'm super stressed. Whipped out my guitar and recorded some stuff. Hope you like it.
Description : A sultry, seductive, and fairly short acoustic blues number. It is an instrumental and only took about 2 hours to write, record, and get a decent mix. Enjoy! Updated: I added some slight echo to the electric guitar and widened the stereo fields of the acoustic rhythm and leads.
Description : Miguel Flores, vocals. Jean-Maurice Humbert-Droz, lead guitars. Laurent Schwaar, guitars. Roland Sumi, bass. Richard Pizzorno, Hammond. Laurent Wirz Drums. Loop from josephfunk (rhodes). Composed by Miguel Flores.
Description : KesstA or "What's ur prob" Blues is an excuse for having fun recording several tracks of guitar and trying to make them sound alright all together. If it sounds a bit messy or jammy, well it's part of it.
Description : Fresh out of the studio after 10 weeks of deliberating, planning, writing and performing.
This could be classed as Country Blues or Southern Rock...either way I think it may get your toes tapping. So grab your partner and jump on the dance floor with this one.
I am performing the following instruments...vocals, electric guitars, slide acoustic, bass, harmonica, organ. I wrote the following instrument parts in MIDI....drums, percussion, piano, horns. This was a beast to master but I think it turned out okay.
No loops used.

The bar is now set about as high as it can get. This one is one part blues, one part soul, one part gospel, and five parts amazing.
I'm speechless.
And I'm standing and applauding.
Bear
Thank you Mr. Bear, believe me, I am SO ready!!!
