Description : My first demotrack with a looperman sample. Far from perfect, but I just like to play around with sounds, I am certainly not a pro

I used Ableton Live, KarmaFX and Microtonic for the melody.
The electronic, chopped-sounding effect on the voice is made by adding a pad following the notes of the vocal, then using Ableton's Autopan effect to make them switch rapidly from left to right (when the voice is on the left, the pad is on the right, and vice-versa).

also with the length as it is you get the feeling that this is just an intro ...I know you've said its a demo but....really? 1 min?
the drum track needs to be thicker even the thinnest drum track need thickness.. try layering up your sounds and eqing them to roll off the very top and take out the low end where you lower bass sounds will still... I always find if you boost you kick at around 90hz-100hz you'll still get your power but if wont sound as muddy...
as I say some nice ideas but those timing issue need sorting brother...

I'm not sure about the "timing issues" you are mentionning, as it is just a midi clip, the same length as the others, so I don't understand how it is off-time ?
Thanks for the tip on the drums, I boosted them to around 60-70hz if I remember well, I'll try the 90-100 range as you suggest.
It sounds like an intro because, well, it is, in some ways :p
As stated in my profile, I just like to play with sounds for fun, I uploaded this one because it used another member's sample. I try to learn new things with each demo I make (this time it was giving an effect to the voice without actually modifying it)
