Nevermind, I made a song with your sample and uploaded it to youtube, later an artist named Cedrik Zimmermann claimed the video. The thing is... is he allowed copyright your sample?

I'm not sure if he can copyright my loop as he isn't the creator, however I do believe that he can copyright his song using the loop. If you want to post your song on YouTube and they are giving you flack because of this loop, have them contact me and I can let them know he doesn't own the loop. That's one of the biggest problems using a loop that is posted as royalty free, everybody and their dog is going to use it. Anyway, good luck. Hope all is well.

Sorry for the late reply to your comment. My loop was posted in 2013, way before Cedrik did his tune, so I'm pretty sure he used my loop (perhaps that is what you were saying, but it comes across like I used his song for inspiration, which I did not). As you can see in Smokehands comment above, he tried to force copyright issues when he wasn't the original creator of the loop. While he can claim his tune he cannot claim copyright of my work.
