Description : this is a new thing im working on using some old ensoniq asr-x resamples i had created for the band i was in in the 90's and early 00"s, which disbanded so it was stuff that went no where until recently when i dug them up. i did a some sessions working the asr-x loops thru the nn-xt sampler back thu fx and processing for each of the separate outs of the nn-xt and got them up on a reason mixer and probably had some fx stuff set up for the aux section of the mixer too, to sprinkle over parts of the mix. several dr-x modules wher put into motion and rex loops far removed from original sound. the main riff is a subtractor sound created for the track, thru a chain of multi fx and tweaked on the fly. i may have put this thru garageband and mixed and balaced a little too, before i came back to where its at and thought id give what was there a master in presonus studio one using mostly spl plugs. ive only recently started using both software, i cant speak highly enough 4 both products. i would love to have some on play something groovy and dub it up another level. let me know if your the person for the job fellow looperheads out there in looperland for that role could be up for grabs............let me here some fat fly off ya funkin fingers and make this track a freak on the floor.......!1X1!

Description : a lot of this was chopped up sections from a d.a.t. tape recording of a 40 min long session of ensoniq asr-x loops i had massively resampled, some as many as 2 dozen or so times. then i dub mixed them with a analogue desk with some multi fx/ delay units set up thru the aux sends, back thru to desk channels instead of fx returns, and fed back on themselves on the returning desk channels aux's. by discovering this technique and becoming more confident resampling and bouncing tracks i started creating things that people thought was stuff from the ORB or sometimes F.S.O.L. if i didnt mention beforehand i had created it. that was about 10 years ago now id created the origins for the track and it was 6 or 7 years before i dug it up added some nord lead and electribe er-1 parts then something unique and timeless emerged i think as an end result. i could make a number of tracks from that 40 mins stashed away on that dat. i think my blabbing on here is intuition knocking loudly at my door...........

Description : this track was created almost 10 years ago before the D.A.W. revolution took hold. the studio i worked in then was a huge collection of hardware synth and fx all routed to patch bays tru a 32 channel mackie desk, 4 track of hard disk recording for mixdown and pre mastering meant this track was the most monumental midi sequence ive worked on. 12 weeks to finish this one, it was the layer cake of all layer cakes still to this day.

Description : the core mutation at the center of this track came from the first 5mins of a recorded 20min jam i had with a drum machine i built on a nord modular system a friend had some years back. i found the jam on a old backup cd that i thought was heading 4 the bin, it was a great find considering the fact i had no idea at the time my friend with the modular was recording me tweaking the little red devil. ill be posting some loops of the modular madness too.

Description : started off from a korg er-1 + ea-1 electribe experiment when i borrowed some boss pedals from a friend, thats what keeps a grungy undertone throughout the track. most of the rest of track was a combo of quadrasynth, virus+microQ blends sequenced on a mpc2000xl and recorded and mixed on a rolandVS2480.

Description : when the shadow rolls in at the crossroads....X....zero point . in the twist of the mobius loop. when "as is above so is below" a snake eats its tail. sheds its skin. one must know how to see thru the darkness to become beings of light., we are born and learning in a realm of the in between...???...this track for me reflects the empowering aspects of spiritual growth or raising in vibration, and the ability to read thru base vibrational aspects in ones life from a certain point of growth and there onwards.{which is when it becomes more of a challenge.] there is a saying that the devil {or your demons} is the teacher may he never your master. from where ever i remembered that from i later found out it relates to how shamen in times before religion. when you new only of black or white magic, would pass on wisdoms of the darker side in life.

Description : this track took a happy turn when my friend multi instrumentalist julius lutero put down some guitars for the track. i was initially going for a rolling underworld/fluke type off techno which you can still hear at the heart of the track.

Description : this the 1st track of 7 tracks that back to back join up like a dj mix set. ill be posting all 7 tracks so you can download and link them up to play as a whole mixup. this first track was done with reason 3. i was trying to recreate the mantra of generative acid style techno...

Description : part 3 of a 7 track mixup. this was another acid techno mantra experiment i tripped up on reason. the NEW WORLD DISORDERS mix up e.p. was the first thing i have created completely in the BOX....so to speak. as a complete e.p/l.p. type of thing. i still have a collection of my favorite hardware synths, fx, groove boxes, pedals etc. that i usually intergrate with stems of bits and pieces of audio from the soft ware side of things.

Description : just a reminder that the 7 tracks for the NEW WORLD DISORDERS e.p. join seamlessly like a d.j. mixup if you download and rip a c.d. with no gap placements between the tracks. this track is my personal fav. of the set, can anyone help sort out if this could be dubstep??? i struggled to find a descriptive home for this one, but i thought it was to stomping to place as electronica or dance...........???i re-checked my track info and this track is created on the NINTENDO DSI using the KORG DS-10 SYNTH cartridge the resampled tribal beats and the pitch oct down bass guitar loop were done in garageband as was any processing to the dsi arrangement. sorry i thought most of these tracks stemmed from experiments in reason, so its not quite an all {in the box} project as i had stated before//////

Description : this is a industrial/breaks head masher that started as one of my first skeleton mixes bounced out from reason when i first experimented with the program some years ago now. i had reason3 on an old g3 imac back then and i could only run 3 drrex modules and subtractor+malstrom withassorted reason fx at most so i would bounce my little experiments out as audio files and bring my bounces up on the nn-xt sampler which takes very little processor drain then load up some more drrex + synth modules etc around the bounce and keep working on the track till the cpu was about to poo itself, then bounce and reapeat the process doing different treatments to the new sequences and bounces each time. i still use reason in the same way today. beats coming back to a reason project months later and trying to work out a virtual rack that scrolls each way for a mile me thinkzzz

Description : and the final chapter to the e.p. i had mentioned before that this was an {in the box} e.p. project but i made a slight mistake. i re-checked my track files and had forgotten that this track and part D are tracks i created on the NINTENDO DSI using the KORG DS-10 synth cartdrige. this one is 85% nintendo dsi 15% garageband resampled loops and resampled string/pad samples for the end section.
