Description : Neurofunk track. Used a lot of vengeance 1-shots as well as some other ones for the drums and percussion. Made everything except for a few FX samps and the drum fill. Things need tweaked. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. My first post to the Loop in quite some time. So glad to see it's back up and running again!!!
Description : House track with an electro edge and a grooving bass line.. Pretty smooth track.. Got some strange sounds in this mofo'. On a house kick and the quest to produce a banging underground track.. Far from it, i know, but i still got some tricks up my sleeve yo!
Description : Glitch-esque, mostly DNB type of AFXT sound... First track uploaded ever... kind of interested to hear what people think any and all criticism welcome.. SUCKA'S!!! used some of Huckins' loops and used some of my own as well
Description : industrial-tech mix..dj ballon-esque groove.. kind of muddy mix.def good on a loud system. did this for a project.. pretty catchy. 26 samples i got from a sample cd and off the net.. second upload.. enjoy
Description : Ratatat-style mix of the 32nadeln vox i got off here.. i used the cream dm synth line.. i like this it has an upbeat but laid back feel. hip-hop isnt one of my finer points but it's something im working on. made in acid with some funk all star samples as well as some others... Featuring DEZENTRAL
Description : Sean Wan's vocals.. Used the Ni-Pro53 vsti and sytrus... really like the verse of this song, the synths give it a serious and dangerous kind of feel. Respect to Sean Wan on an amazing flow!
Description : MNML house track.. laid back and sexy, there's no denying that.. used the muon synth, green matrix, sytrus.. i used a sweep sample and a bass effect i got from a dnb sample pack, the drum loop is mine..
Description : Going through some old stuff.. This is from.. like a year ago or something.. One of the strangest things i've ever written. Took the Big Beat sample from here and put it through the wave traveller in Fl.. DEFINITELY WORTH A LISTEN!! Crazy weird but grooving all the same.
Description : Not good with names...FL Studio made , DC DNB DRUM LOOP, Direct Wave Mellotron, QuadraSid Arp (I LOVE the QS!!) Melodic+Hellish DNB with a vocal sample used for a lead.. Tight like a toigah HA! I got musical A.D.D. so its not very repetitive at all.. Njoi
Description : Lot better than the last one..180bpm.. Used Huckins Neurofunk Drum Loop, the rest of the samples are from various sample packs and I also used the Sinus Hotel Reese vst.. Pretty sick . Picks up nicely @ :52
Description : Hardstyle-esque/Warehouse type of song kind of old school, Reminds me of Joey Beltram.. Pretty excited about this track. Change of pace for sure. Used Albino 2 and the Pro-53.. The synth is right behind the percussion but definately cuts through the mix. Pimp Tight!
Description : Had to drop the sample rate wayyy down.. Orig was like 15M.. Used A LOT of samples from here that i DL'd before i decided to get a profile. Thanks to all you Loop Heads.. Track covers a lot of ground but it keeps you on ur toes.. Made about a year ago/
Description : Staying up for 5 or more days in a row leaves you feeling a bit... insane. I read in a forum one time to just "pretend" you're asleep because it helps.. No it doesn't. But those days are long past and this song is a reflection of my state of mind. Thanks to Ryan for the "Shattered Mind" sample.
Description : Funked House track.. Grooving and melodic all the same. I love this track, even if you don't. Been working on it for a minute.. Would like to know how it could be better.. This is way different from what I usually do, but getting outside your comfort zone promotes growth .0_0.
Description : Ethnic track with didgeridoo samples. @ 1:20 Matt comes in on his own didge that he made HIMSELF! Pretty Killer! No synths, but still kind of trippy. Enjoy.
Description : DNB type of glitch track.. No FX on the drums, just chopped them up as much as i could..Used the "not light" +"crowded" loops @ the end. Not really interested in synths at the moment so i didn't spend any time at all on the pad line.. Wanted to use the drums as the lead. Doesn't stop changing but it's fluid.
Description : I used 2 perc loops a drum loop and a few scratch samples.. Whoever made the tnrg puzzle scratches (if i got them from here) you freakin RULE!! I also used Huckins Reese Vst, props to you on that man, nice vst.The rest is me on the Predator and I did some layering for the loops. I'm having problems getting the bass and sub tones to cut through the mix like i want..any advice?
Description : Used a couple of HMNN's reese loops, theyre very nice.. Almost all the beats are different Amens.. Most of it's samples.. The very basic things in there are me.. I even got some samples from the PSP (the handheld game system) Kind of hoppin trippy track.. Alternating rhythms with the different beats.. Its worth a listen
Description : Wasn't sure if this should go in the metal or rock or industrial category. A mixture of all 3 but all acoustic drum samples switching from rock beats to double bass-laden metal drums..The working title was Puke Blood Forever, just to let you know..interesting and aggressive but it's got a mellow side to it also.. a looming bassline and some stabby guitar (samples) Has a NIN feel to it.
Description : Laid back dreamy electro house.. Really went out on a limb with the mastering..Or rather I gave it a shot @ mastering. It's @ a slower bpm (124) I usually like house to be @ 128-134. This track is kind of airy but it's pretty bouncey as well.. Tried to get the comp. right. I think i might break down & separate the drums, bass leads, fx etc. and try to remaster it. made in ACID and also did some editing in cool edit.. look for this to be updated, but i'd like to know what you think anyway.
Description : I took a totally different approach producing this one. I did all the tracks (and eq'd and compressed them) separately (drums, bass, synth,fx)over 2 days then i bounced all the tracks to seperate channels in the mixer, eq'd and compressed them, and then eq'd them and then mixed them all down to one track, and THEN i made the mix down into two identical tracks, took one and mastered it and took the other and ran it through a compressor with the low band on solo to give it a lil more bump and mixed those two tracks down to one (this turned out to be a 68.2 MEG wav file by the way) then i bounced it to FL and did the filter FX and then compressed it... while mastering this i turned the bass boost off my stereo and set the eq to flat.. I dont like producing like this (doing all the tracks separately) I like doing everything all at once and then bouncing tracks separately...but whatever practice makes perfect.. drums are layers of samples until the "chorus" or whatever you wanna call it kicks in and the rest is me on the predator and massive.. oh the effects are samples also. this is on the verge of trance, but i'm saying it's ilke tech house because i really dislike a lot of trance. ;)>
Description : Got an idea and ran with it.. Haven't uploaded anything in a while so I thought what the heck..Compressed, limited and normalized the final product (not in that order) didn't clip and I'm pretty happy with this.. very jazzy be boppy.. if you're going to fast forward, then do it to like :53 or so, that's when it starts picking up, gets really groovy..love,peace and chicken grease--jazzy jack ripper
Description : Laid back house track. 130 BPM. Tracked everything out. Put a limiter on and compressed everything. Listened to Eshar's "Jazzamataz" and got inspired. Kind of jazzy, kind of discoey.. Needs some fine tuning..
Description : DNB/Jungle track.. This is kind of a new style for me.. Dark and sort of ambient.. I guess a heavy type of jungle influence. My favorite part is around the 1:19 mark. Compressed limited normalized and eq'd the final product.. made sure it didn't clip.. Used a hip hop sub, some weirdo hip hop samples and made a reece in the Massive and the more wah-e type one i made with sytrus and alternated between the two.
Description : Got 3NM/NV's rmx file and went to town. Tie-your-signifigant-other-up type stuff..HA!! Bumped the tempo to 120 got some SFX samples and chopped the ones I found in the zip.. Wanted to focus on the bass drum coming through.. Did some subtractive eq'ing on the synth and bass and slightly bumped the kick and of course compressed everything..Didn't turn out quite the way that I wanted to, but that's ok for now.
