Description : This is my first new track in four months after taking a break from music. It's been created using Reason 2.5 (yes I know, it's old) but I'd decided to give Sony Acid Pro a rest. The samples are taken from Reason's sound bank and third party refills and an M-Audio Synth was used to compose it. I'm also going freelance next year and need plenty of feedback!
Description : Completely different direction this time around with Cogs and Gears!! A heavily bass driven track with a hint of electro thrown in for good measure. Sony Acid Pro 7 was used to piece the track together and the samples used are from sampleswap.org and my own collection (all royalty free)

Description : Built around the idea of the C64's SID chip I decided to bring that retro style into the 21st Century. Now it may not be an original idea, but it's the thought that counts! Sony Acid Pro was used and all samples are royalty free.

Description : Hard to say really......I guess you could say that this is what happens when you've spent nearly all day listening to DJ Shadow. It kinda reminds me of that old song 'bomb the bass'. Again, Acid Pro was used (my software package of choice) and same with the samples.I'm hoping to pick up the courage to use 'live samples' using my bass guitar at some point.
Description : Finally!!!! I've decided to let you lot listen to one of my very first tracks composed on Rave Ejay. It's quite hard to describe which category this tune fit's into.....suppose it's a bit of everything,lol. I was inspired to write 'Electric Highway' after listening to a lot of pitchshifter and White Zombie and I'd had a very good day at college too :) All samples were used from Rave Ejay as I wanted to push that program to the edge and the PC was very basic..Please enjoy and comments are very welcome
Description : Another golden oldie dragged out from the depths of the 'vault'. I've chosen a track from the album my brother and I did way back in 1998. It was created using MUSIC on the playstation!!!! So it was primative compared to today's standards but this is all we had at the time. This song is short (just over 1 minute long) but I was still learning and the ending is quite a suprise too! :)

Description : This tune was done last year using Fruity Loops and an M-Audio MIDI keyboard. It's very different to what I've done before as I was in 'experimental' mode and it paid off in the end!!! It's something you'd expect from a game or a movie. Watch out for more of my experimental tracks

My main influence for Coffee House Banter has got to be Level 42 and then bits of A Perfect Circle, Karma To Burn and Kyuss are added to the mix. Description : Hard to describe this track really....All the samples just seemed to 'gel' with each other. It started life as a 'practice' piece, which is what I tend to do for a warm up session before knuckling down on Acid Pro 6....Then I'd built up on the tracks structure and gave it more 'meat'.
