HELL YEAH !!!!
This is really good, I absolutely dig it bro.
Your already reminding me of someone else here on Looperman who's essentially blazin a new trail with their unique brand of music (ValveDriver).
The rhythm here drives this thing like a blown hemi V8 and then that lead kicks in a double shot of Nitrous.
Very intense track that's loaded with fun and interesting goodies.
Keep it up DRO.
Many Thanks Bro*,
im Glad that you like it,cool Comment never seen before in this Type:)Makes a lot of work to bring this together sounding this Way, but i enjoy every single Minute,so Maybe i´ll try it again on Hybrid 2
nice review:)
have nice day,DRO
Nice job here Orlando.
Really dig the pads as well.
Well produced for effective mood enhancement which is the goal. Ambient and Cinematic ? It can definitely work either or.
Yeah, thx....Actualy I've made four pad versions for the central pad and then decided to combine all 4 together. I hope I got nice result...and yeah, it's all about ambience here...no further than that:)
Yeah I dig this a lot but I do concur with some of the comments. The vocal is a bit overdriving which is an easy fix in the hands of someone a bit more proficient in sound engineering. Its a killer track though and in no way am I trying to discourage you. YOU HAVE AN ABSOLUTELY TREMEDOUS VOICE ! Understand that this is constructive criticism here. I usually sugar coat my responses because to be quite honest 95% of those uploading tracks here most likely wont go any further than Looperman. Those that I think do have the potential to go further usually will receive more scrutiny. Only because I feel it may keep you humbled and more importantly help you push yourself to improve and reach even greater heights. Lastly, if you intend to pursue a career in music, get tough. Concentrate on singing, don't waste your time mixing tracks. Get into a studio.
Well, as I say on my profile description: I know nothing of music. Never studied music theory. Never studied singing. Never studied sound engineering. Never studied anything related with music. I'm only a student of Engineering on informatic systems. Singing and making tries of songs are only hobbies. I'm so sorry if I mistake. I don't intend to make a career in music. It's only a hobby. You know, the forest would be too silent if only sing the birds who can do better. I thank the criticism, really. The bad thing is, I can't afford for taking music classes. And I have no much time because of the university.
Thanks for listening and comment.
Hey Destero.
I really dig this track bro.
Love the guitar combination and those leads are definitely hot. Nice structure too. I like the drum track but was really hoping you would break out of that off beat at some point and settle into the straight 4/4.
One of the best rock tracks ive heard here in a while.
Thanks Neo*
I find something new every day I can change at this track, and every time I'm done it's not good enough for me. I have already thought to change it, but the comments were very positive and so I left it. Anyway, when I have finished my new projects I dedicate myself fully to this Comment, and promise to improve it.
Thank you for your suggestion.

Damn FF this is tight bro !
Im not hearing too much of what I consider Dub but its definitely got some nice Reggae flavoring, which "Yah man eees sooo sweet don cha know" ! Love the vocoded vox too.
Your another one on here who really needs to consider putting an album together. I'll be one of the first to throw down on it !
Mr. Nomad, yet another wild and crazy track here.
Lots of really tasty things happening soundwise. My favorite parts are there around the 3:50 mark with the brief wah wah thing and then it settles into a little funky bass groove. I would of liked to of heard that extended a bit longer. Cool track but not one my faves where your stuff is concerned. That probably is a direct result of me never really being a fan of the jam. Which is what this comes off as to me. I need some more melody here I think.
Yo. Good to hear from you. It is pretty wild stuff.
I'm slightly surprised you think it's lacking in melody though I can't really make arguments through writing words to convince you there is a fair bit. If that's what you hear, so be it. I was also surprised another friend found this a "bit too light" in terms of the sound as I think it's pretty damn intense and heavy. I guess I just have to have my own confidence that stuff is good though I reflect deeply on any and all criticism or suggestions. That's mainly why I use this site
Almost all my stuff is sort of technically a jam. Well, it's more many, many jams carefully sculpted to form something that might be considered a "proper" piece of music (whatever that is). It's always hard with instrumental music unless you're doing a very specific theme with a big obvious tune. I just try to come up with cool parts and grooves and then weave them together into a pleasing structure.
I thought you'd like the sub basses in this, which feature quite a bit and often sit underneath the bass guitar.
3:50 is good for heavy sub bass and the wah is fun. Yes, that section could and maybe should be much longer. The problem is that I came up with it only to join two other sections together. And I didn't want to make this track 15 mins long, which I could very easily do. It was 17 mins until I split it last year and turned the other sections into their own 12 min track.
Anyway - good you got something out of it. There's a lot of variety between my many tracks (also within them) so it's inevitable that people who like some won't much like others. And many people wouldn't like a single one. It's hardly catchy pop music so always destined to be niche stuff.
It might well be a lot less niche if I had one or more songwriting singers to work with but I don't (I have had in the past but they all quit). So I just have to do what I can on the few instruments I play.
Slick mix here FR.
I know it musta been tricky getting the timing right on some of these elements. Nice use of the various sound FX , panning and filters. I love the drop around 3:50 and the following groove section.
Got the head bobbing really good on this one man.
Congrats bro !
You've put a considerable amount of effort in and stayed true to your style. Now its time for it to pay off. Best of luck to you, you definitely deserve it.
Hey Evan.
Good stuff here man.
I had to do a double take after hitting the play button, that sax intro took me by surprise. But Hell Yeah, some nice fat sound in combination with your Tool-ish bass lines. Some pretty slick tempo changes there in that first section too. But my biggest surprise was that last section around 2:50 where you settle into that mello groove that so reminds me of Panteras cover version of Black Sabbaths Planet Caravan.
TOTALLY dig that bro !
The sax is a bit of an oddity among my tracks, but I had the main line underneath and thought it would go well, and I was pleasantly surprised. I like the ending section as well, where the frequency slowly drops and the bass comes in with a sad regretful sounding line, then enforced with the low bass line. One of my favorites.
Sounds pretty good so far and you could easily change the tempo and throw in some dubstep or orchestration or just continue this with some variation like a key change.
Thanks for listening....
I was thinking of adding Orchestral elements but then i decided not to...Kinda wanted it to be pure DnB...
I think i would add some Wobbles near the end(It would be awesome...!!)
Going to add some new synths and piano variations or even a chilled electric guitar part in the middle where everything fades away and take the new synths and guitar part upto the sudden pause at 3.10....
And is the sudden pause good or should I make it more intense..??
Quite a contrasting mixture but the more I listened the more I liked. This is the sort of stuff that drew me to Looperman. Fresh, unique and very cool.
Nice one man.
Dude, every time you post something I end up downloading.
Another top notch production here.
Music is great. Did you modify the vocal track to get those glitches?
Awesome track JP.
I like the progression and melodic aspects. You guys also used some restraint and didn't overdo the dubstep elements which makes for a nice listenable track. That drop is sweet too. Double thumbs up on this one bro.
Kettles, Typmphany whatever you want to call them, pretty kick ass man ! Some nice Industrial vibe to this, I like those stabs too. Agreed with Static on wishing we would hear more DnB here.
Really enjoyed this.
I remember there used to be more dnb on this site in years gone by. Anyway, glad you liked it, kontakt comes with some cool timpani patches so I've been having a lot of fun with them recently!
Yeah nice track bro.
I have to say I pretty much agree with everything DJSLTUK said. I don't think its deep house either but certainly good and well worth a bit more polish. The seagulls and ocean waves are definitely a bit too prominent and are you aware of the wave sound coming back in for a nano second there just before the stop?
Thanks for such awesome comment.Actually I was confused between the House and Deep House Genre for this song.I was waiting for the replies for it.Nice feedback, will surely work on it and improvise and finish the track....!!
Hi Tatiacha, quite an interesting mix you've created here. It plays like theatrical movements and involves some real dramatic mood swings. Some nice work blending the various instrumentation. It reminds me of playing Myst years ago.
Hey this is a real fun track Scott .
Has a nice Spanish vibe to it and I especially like the varied transitions, the piano and those cool harmonized do-do's !
I really dig it man.
Hey Charlene.
This track really mellowed me out. Nice soothing melody and the piano-guitar duet is very well arranged. Its one of those that could be happy or could be sad depending on ones mood and perception. Thanks, I really enjoyed this.
Hey SonicAriel !
Wow this is a very ccol track.
Quite a contrast there between the two types but you make it work quite well. I really dig that last segment where it settles into that bass groove. That's very Cool ! Nice job on the drums too !
Pretty awesome stuff, especially for a 5th grader.
Show and tell that in music class and be sure to CRANK IT !
That's one awesome track my friend, really dig it man. That Korg bassline is very retro cool. Man are you of Middle Eastern decent ? That synthesized rebaba around 3:24 is bad ass and very classic Arabic . This track is genius in many ways and is a real testament as to just how freaky talented you are. I mean who else does this kind of stuff?
Oh and Chill 1991 does make a good point, when are you gonna release some of this stuff? You've got plenty of material for a CD, or several.
Somebody's got to light a fire under you and Tumbleweed.
Yo, yo, yo. Not, I'm not of Middle Eastern descent - just badass descent.
Actually, I was born in Cairo, Egypt and so, coincidentally, was one grandfather but neither are us is Egyptian (very English, instead). I did live for a few years in a Middle Eastern country but didn't study the music in any way. I know very little about scales and completely guess at how to make Eastern scales.
It's a real fluke. All I do is start playing more semitone stuff and then do a bit more a few frets up and that seems to make some sort of Middle Eastern scale or mode.
Korg bassline?
I do have a Korg Z1 but that main killer, intro delayed bass is a monsynth patch I made in Reason years ago. I have used it in loads of tracks - most prominently in Into The Out There (it drives the whole track) and The Fatness.
3:24 lead synth playing actually is my Korg Z1. Amazing sound but I haven't used any of the Z1's internal sounds in years (95% of my synth work is Reason synths).
Also at 3:24 we get the tambura sound but that's also from Reason.
Hard to believe I made this in 2001. Most of my stuff was nowhere near as good as this as I had a lot of production skills to refine and didn't even use EQ back then. Also didn't have all my excellent acoustic drum software (had to wait years to get that). This is all drum loops and one shot hits but they work really well.
"who else does this kind of stuff?"
Someone commented on another site on this track and introduced me to an excellent group I'd never even heard of. They're called Anubian Lights, and a great album is Let Not The Flame Die Out.
Ah yes - me and all my unreleased albums. I keep saying I'm working on about 8-10 of them (probably more) but don't want to part with them until they're as good as I can get them and nicely mastered.
Had this track on this site for ages, only just featured it cos got nothing else to upload right now but am working on an amazing new one that might be ready in a week.

I don't know if that means we should collaborate or that somebody should burn our asses (if we don't release an album in the next few months).
