Description : This is a song dedicated to my best friend...My cocker spaniel! Yes, she's a dog, but she's always with me when I compose my tracks. When I sit down behind my drum kit to play my tracks, she lies down in front and looks at me as if to say, "Daddy, why are you flailing around like an idiot and making all that noise?" Her favorite song is "Time of the Season" by The Zombies. She starts to howl whenever she hears it. Why...I do not know. SHE'S MY FRIEND!

Scott the piano is gorgeous. The section after the break really did it justice. That groove is amazing.

Time Of The Seasons has been a long time fav of mine Scott (watched them play it live a while back) so your wee doggie & I might get along well...a bit of a similar vibe here obviously even though its a much different track...great stuff...and kudos on the production on this one...you obviously put a lot of talent into that as well as the music....Ed

Thank you, Ed...You're so kind with your comment. Much appreciated.

Big ups Fannie Mae for the inspiration.....Beef Jerky's on the way!

ScottB55 replied 4th Apr 2014 - 12 years ago

Thanks, Tune D! I get into the Latin stuff more and more as time goes by.

Fannie Mae is a true example of a 'Chow Hound.' She love to eat.

Hey this is a real fun track Scott .
Has a nice Spanish vibe to it and I especially like the varied transitions, the piano and those cool harmonized do-do's !
I really dig it man.

ScottB55 replied 4th Apr 2014 - 12 years ago

Thanks, Neo. Yeah, it's actually a cha cha with some jazz elements. The doos are a VST I have in my Sonar.

I appreciate your comment.

Cheers,
Scott

nice, i kind of have a short attention span but it kept my attention that alone says something good :-)

ScottB55 replied 4th Apr 2014 - 12 years ago

I agree, Tatiacha. If something doesn't grab me in about 20 seconds, I turn it off and go to the next. Glad you took the time to listen.

Cheers,
Scott

A scratch behind the ears to your good friend!
Again a superb track: outstanding drums and very good keys arrangement.
Liked a lot!
Ciao, Domenico

ScottB55 replied 3rd Apr 2014 - 12 years ago

Yep...That's all it takes for my buddy. I've had allot of women in my life, but only my dogs have stuck with me in good and bad times. A wise man once said, if you really want to know who love you most, put your girlfriend or wife in your car trunk for 30 minutes. Than put your dog in the trunk for 30 minutes. Open the trunk and which one knocks the piss out of you and which one is happy to see you...But I digress!

Anyway, thanks for your kind words, Domenico. Glad you like it.

Cheers,
Scott
