on Silent Night, presented by Slap and Six by Sixfingermusic
This is as beautiful as the blessed night itself. A sonic reflection of hope. This is as brilliant as a shinning star guiding us to our dreams of peace on earth. My words can not convey the depth of craftsmanship on display.
Cause for tears of joy.

Thank you so much Sky. I have always been haunted by this particular melody. I mean since I was old enough to remember such things. It was very easy for me to put some passion into it. And Slap of course OOZES passion. What a true joy and honor for me to be able to work with him. And we would not have been able to do it if there was no Looperman.com. What a great thing. Peace and good cheer, Six
P.S. Hope the tour is treating you well.

Nice.
Very nice.
This is a great idea with a beautiful spirit.
I love the progression and the melody is comforting.
As I do artist development, I imagine this piece being played by an ensemble. Bo Diddley toms driving the rhythm. Not overbearing mind you, just chugging away in a support role. This song lends itself to so many ideas like that. I give you bonus points for documenting and sharing. Nice song....very nice.

Thanks for the kind words. I was playing this last week at a place where I do a 2 hour set every other week. A friend was playing lead for me and his first time hearing it he did a Allman Bro.s style lead to it that matched it perfectly. Had someone doing OK but not great drums. And someone else laying down a nice bass line. It's one of my favorite songs.

Engineering is sometimes overlooked and or unappreciated.
You did well here.
Nice imagery created by your mix.
It's a challenge many film score mix engineers deal with.
You handle the Logic score with great sensitivity.
Very cinematic.
Moments of tension require nurturing and you did just that.

Slap,
I have this playing over and over in my studio as I prepare for a session tonight.
The sun will be setting over the desert mountains outside Phoenix very soon. I have the doors and windows open and your beautiful sound is floating out across the citrus orchards to the foothills.
This is all so personal and touching.
Direct to favs.
This will be played more than I can tell you.

Oh man.
It's 2:40am.
Candles move with the breeze of the desert winds through my window.
I just finished a vodka and lime and I rarely drink alcohol...then I find this.
Love is a Dog From Hell.
That does it.
I'm going till sunrise.
No way I can sleep now.
Totally creepy....in a good way.

on Lost In Work by RashidKhan
Hypnotized and transported. I seek a lite as opposed to a light. The den is thick with flavored smoke and there is a girl. There are girls. It may be approaching high noon in the narrow ally just outside the beaded doorway though it may well be just past high midnight in this fuzzy warm embrace of celestial content. I am not sure. I care not. There are many more interesting things to attend to. You have my attention.
Lovely track.
Thanks for the trip.

I am really enjoying how this piece is constructed. Nice use of momentum. The push and pull of the drum segments. Far from typical. The energy on top with it's smooth edged melody. Nice combination of elements here. Nice arrangement and sonic construction. Well done. Voltage

on We're Musicians by blueTransit
Having a difficult time typing as the fog machine in my room is out of control. Hard to see my monitor as the mirror ball, strobe and lazer lights are freaking me out...not to mention all the Euro dance hounds bumping and grinding on the hot sweaty dance floor that was my bedroom. Well done, but are you gonna help me clean this place up? Didn't think so. Carry on. Voltage
