on miss ya by BONEZONMARZ
Hi, this is truly a beautiful song - one you can be really proud of. Juankar described it perfectly: sit back, close your eyes, and just let yourself drift. My only complaint is its short length. A bit more length, perhaps with a gentle instrumental section - something like a subtle, airy bridge with understated improvisations - would enhance the song even further.
But even as it is, it already shines, perhaps especially because of your expressive voice. If you invest some more time in refining the details, I'm convinced it could become a real hit.

Warm regards, Manuela

on Unison by Cyberflares
Hi Robin,
this track pulled me into its world from the very first moment. Theres this dark, shimmering atmosphere blending with those soft chillout tones, like a quiet pulse beneath the skin. If I could rap, Id fall straight into this groove - it carries such an effortless flow.
What touches me most is the cinematic openness, that dreamy haze drifting over everything. Theres a hint of mystery unfolding slowly, and youve woven it into the production with such care that it feels like a story you dont just hear but feel. Yes, its trap - but with that epic, nostalgic signature that only you seem to create.
I love how you shape trap and drill into something elegant, something with soul instead of noise. This track really caught me, instantly and deeply.
The beat is powerful, the melodies are beautiful, and the whole atmosphere goes straight to the heart. A piece that shines from beginning to end.

on Heavier Than The Last by AlanMcLarenProject
Hi Alan, I especially like this song because of its sparse and understated instrumentation, which harmonizes beautifully with the vocals, and its slow but steady build-up. It had an almost trance-like effect on me. The abrupt, almost brutal ending feels like suddenly falling into a hole. Great work both in the arrangement and the technical execution. I think this song is brilliant! Best regards,
Manuela

Well, I think you shouldnt sing only when your wife is in the shower you should sing when shes right there with you. Pull her close and gently whisper this song into her ear. Im sure shell love it; any woman would melt a little if you came that close with such a wonderful and yes, very attractive voice *smile.

Its a great song, beautifully interpreted definitely not just a hobby project, as you said. This is professional work.

Tell you a little story. I was once in a club and there was a singer and she was going round putting the mic in front of people.
A lot sang and lot were good and a lot were bad then she sees me. I'm like oh no.
Wife goes go on then right smug so i sings a part that everyone else sang. My voice must have suited the microphone becuase everyone applaud and i mean applauded.
Wife goes well you bloody show off the lady says are you a professional I said no its my first time.
She said well you're bloody good and everyone else said the same. I kept laughing and my wife said Oh sod off you bragging git lol.
Its a hobby but I might do another one and thanks for the reply.

on Run the Block ft Marco Vernice by TrippleN97
Hello
Youve created something truly remarkable with this one. The way you built a complete musical world around the rap acapella feels incredibly natural and perfectly matched. Its as if the vocals finally found the home they were always meant to have.
Your production gives the acapella a timeless quality modern in its clarity, yet classic in its atmosphere. Every element supports the voice without ever overpowering it. The groove sits beautifully, the arrangement flows effortlessly, and the overall mood feels both grounded and elevated at the same time.
The mix and master are outstanding as well: clean, balanced, warm, and full of depth. Nothing is out of place, nothing distracts everything works together to create a track that feels polished, intentional, and emotionally cohesive.
Its honestly impressive how well you transformed a simple vocal into a complete, fully realized song. Wonderful work.

Hey Manuela
It's always humbling when professional musicians like yourself can listen and be able to vibe with some of my work. Sometimes that's all the motivation we need to keep pushing.
I always try to make something I would vibe with if I hear it elsewhere and whenever it resonates with other musicians, that's a score.
I appreciate your ear and your kind feedback.

on Dont wanna be me by RitajustRita
Hallo Mom,
this is a very interesting musical approach the song feels almost spherical. Your vocals, with their steady and consistent phonetics, fit the dramaturgy beautifully. Together, it reminds me a bit of Victorian choral music and gives the whole piece a mythical character. Technically very well done. I really like it.

Hi Manuela, thanks for the listen and comment. You are correct, once ad a while I take some equipment to the grandkids, and sometimes I go home with new recordings to be used as tracks or as ad-libs in other tracks. Balanced, still no mastering besides a limiter and high pass/low pass to stay between 20 - 22000 Hz on the master track ;)

Hi you two,

it was a real pleasure to hear this song. That catchy, almost 60s-style rhythm, wrapped in a fresh instrumental sound, combined with that slightly naive vocal style reminiscent of a young Marilyn Monroe simply beautiful!

It's a really great arrangement. You should definitely do a radio version of it; I think this song has the potential to reach a wide audience and really take off. I rarely hear such good music I'm honestly a little envious.

on Break Da Law 2026 - Pnnywze by Pnnywze
Hi Aaron,
I think you've stayed true to your core style, even if the vocals are a bit more prominent here. Basically, you've stuck to what you were doing before I came along: powerful, slightly dark music with deep bass, rhythmically driving effects, and recurring basic chords that occasionally break away. I'd even describe it as trance-like.
The mixing and mastering are, as always, top-notch truly excellent work!
Best regards,
Manuela

Hey Manu, thanks for listening! This beat was made back at the beginning of last year, the only thing new is the vocals. 90% of all my new work is with The Monzder Squadd, and thats where i've grown the most. The whole group has, in my opinion. Of course its still pretty dark, but there's a few collabs we've done that are up as well. I recommend listening to 'Trip Trap City', a collab with Kayos2 and Oli/VT Nights, as well as 'Undercover' - and our newest song, 'Rats and Snakes' Featuring Rita. Those are my favorites rite now, but there is also collaborations or contributions with The FrenZ, Cyberflares, Mindway, and 2 others with Rita. It was important to me, and to us, to involve as many of our talented friends here on LM as possible with this second album, and its been a wonderful experience for the whole group. Thanks for the support Manuela!

Hi Steve,

Thank you so much for the link and especially for your comment from March 19, 2016. That was almost exactly ten years ago.

I understand the connections you describe and the deep personal bond behind them. I can only imagine how great your love must be to bear all of that. I'm somehow at a loss for words to respond appropriately to the song and its lyrics I hope you understand what I mean.

You touched me deeply not only with this song, but also through your character, your kindness, and the conversations we've had over the years. They've shown me how important sensitivity is in our interactions. Thank you for that.

I'm truly moved. Warm regards, Manuela

on Shouting at Ghosts by crucethus
Hello,

First of all, I would like to thank you very much for your kind compliment and ask you to also convey my warmest regards to your wife.
Regarding your question: In Germany, we say, "It was in her cradle." I'm not sure if this expression translates directly into English, and frankly, it would be too simplistic anyway. The fact is, there have been talented musicians in every generation of my family. But none of them ever made it beyond the confines of their parents' home or hometown.
My father was a gifted pianist, even though he was a civil servant. For me, the path was long. I became pregnant very young by a much older man, and that almost destroyed my family. But I had the child, and this wonderful girl ultimately helped to soften and heal my parents' feelings toward me, the baby, and even her father. A little over a year later, my second daughter was born, this time planned.
I separated from her father last year, a sensible decision that still hurts me from time to time. He struggled with my frequent absences due to music and his own work-related absences. For two years, I tried to change, but it was simply impossible.
You didn't ask about this, but it's important to understand what happened next. My parents are wealthy, and so was my husband, so I had both the financial and moral support to pursue classical vocal training, supplemented by solid instruction in piano and classical guitar. I completed all of this in my mid-twenties.
Around this time, Angelica, who is ten years younger, left the family under dramatic circumstances that I don't want to discuss publicly here. Five years later, she returned deeply hurt, and with the help of my parents, myself, and a few other important people, she fought her way back to life. Over time, she developed exceptional musical skills in composing and performing.
To make a long story short: We both worked as studio musicians, producing loops and vocals, working for well-known artists, realizing commercial productions, getting to know many musicians, and benefiting from their experience. We joined the group ManuS, and after the lead singer, Stephanie Burger, left in 2014, I took over her part. ManuS evolved into 2Sisters and eventually the True Sister Band.
Since last year, I've also been known as a solo artist under the name Nuela. My father would have been proud of me, but sadly, he didn't live to see these last few years; he passed away unexpectedly in 2015.
In short, it's been a long, 20-year journey that I was only able to embark on because I was fortunate enough to be born under a lucky star. Angelica and I are deeply grateful to our parents and my husband for making this path possible for us.

Warm regards,
Manuela

Thank you for letting me in a bit to understand you better. Now I understand the song How we fell apart, and regret making it such a disjointed remix, that was a personal song. So I owe you a personal song. https://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/174110/
My wife suffers from Bipolarism, she has been hospitalized 3 times over the last 20 yrs. In 2016 she was in a state of catatonia for a week. I tried to capture that observation in a song. She is doing great now, but the disease stripped her of having a career in Opera, and also a choice for us not to have children. I am a Loyal person, though, and I would not abandon her as long as she continues treatment. It's not easy. At this time, my Parents had a decent Inheritance to give my sister and me. So I will be OK, not wealthy, but way better than most Canadians for their future. I also work in IT as a resource manager, specializing in SharePoint design. I make a pretty penny at that as well. I have my Sister to thank for steering me into this line of work. So Music is more of a hobby for me now. Thanks for your honesty. Sometimes the dark moments in our lives open up new opportunities for happiness. We just don't always see it when we're in the firestorm.

on A Quantum Theory by kingmt77
Hi Mark,

Once again, a wonderful example of what's possible in free jazz. I imagine you poured your heart and soul into the meticulous work on this piece.

The title immediately piqued my curiosity about the concept behind it. For me, "quanta" have always been part of physics, and physics is closely linked to mathematics. The combination of the two leads to constant mathematical leaps.

Some might say that this piece contains more irregularity than regularity. However, I would counter that regularity doesn't necessarily mean short, repetitive rhythmic patterns. A sense of order can also arise, for example, in a 250-bar cycle or even in its subdivisions. So, what initially appears irregular can turn out to be a deeper, hidden form of repetition. Are you still with me?

Mark, in short: Your work is incomparable and unique. I love it.

Warm regards and good night, at least here in Germany!

Ahh Manuela! might we dialogue? So to convert the complexities of our subject into the simplest terms or lowest common denominator, let's discuss the topic of "Wave Particle Duality". When I attempted this track, in the creative phase, waves of creative energy and inspiration gobsmacked me in an unusual way. I call it the "ZONE". As far as this track goes, the more I proof listen the more I can hear. So the rough edges I'll smooth out. TBC! Thanks for the stop and critique. Your presence is always heartwarming.

This is a great song. The drive, the bassline, and the drumming are superbly arranged, mixed, and mastered. It has exceptional intensity and clarity. The choice of instruments, the plugins, and the surprising, subtle saxophone entry towards the end, as well as the ending itself, speak volumes about your professionalism.

Hi Steve,

I remember expressing my condolences to you months ago for your loss. I know how hard it is to lose your parents. I'm lucky enough to still have my mother, and since my father passed away, our relationship has become much deeper, closer, and more meaningful. And of course, I still have my sassy sister, who is also my best friend, and of course, my two precious children. I honestly don't know how I would cope if one of these dear people were no longer here. I'm sure I would struggle with it for a long time.
I also completely withdrew from Looperman for several months, deleted all my songs and even my profile, and only recently returned after much deliberation.

I read your message to Cosmo and was surprised how little we actually know about each other, despite all the years we've spent together here. It's nice to read about your experiences, even if they come from a time when I was probably just taking my first steps in music.
I've also completely withdrawn from Looperman for several months, deleted all my songs and even my profile, and only recently returned after much consideration. But your stories give me that warm, cozy feeling inside, just like when I was a child, sitting on the sofa with my father and listening to him tell stories. I really mean that. You have no idea what a precious treasure you share with us when you open up like this, even in such a short way as with Cosmo.

I hope that one day people will feel that same warmth when they hear my stories.

Hej Manuela! As you may have noticed in the past, I don't always respond right away to comments. The reason is I like to let the comments sink in so I can have a thoughtful reply. In this case, I was showing my wife tonight your lovely words. I am not exactly as ancient as you think I am, but sure, I could play a fatherly figure. My wife and I chose not to have kids for various reasons, but if you were my kid, I would be so proud of your talent and accomplishments. I needed a break, and I will be honest that the remake I made of you and your sisters' song sort of broke me. On one hand, I loved the dark twist; on the other, I was horrified that that was what creativity was coming out of me at that time, and as you know, I was dealing with some issues of the graven kind. So I put away the synths and the computer and focused on work, and dealing with all the aftermath of the loss of my parents. My father was a volunteer fireman for 70 years. The second longest lived in the department and was beloved by everyone there. I had a chance to have a cathartic moment with the people he influenced and mentored, trading stories in a sort of Cathartic Irish Wake moment. I gave a speech to the department as they held the funeral in the firehouse. The chaplain, who was older than my father as he was in his 90's, came up to me and said in the thirty years I have been giving speeches at funerals, no one ever captured or said the things in a way you did to understand the spirit of what it means to volunteer. After that, I bought a new car and turned the sun visor into a memorial of my father's medals and accolades. He always rides with me now, and that gives me some peace. So yes, I needed time and space, but I am glad to be back, and glad you are back. And if I ever had children, I would be proud to call you one of my own. Your parents were and are lucky to have you!

on Ice and Fire by BaoBou
Hi BaoBou,

When I first heard the bars, I thought, "Oh! A completely different BaoBou, more elegant, more classically oriented." But when the guitars kicked in, your unmistakable style resurfaced. The piano parts, especially at the beginning, are wonderfully intuitive and beautifully phrased.

I get the impression that you're currently undergoing a bit of artistic evolution, moving a little from old-school rock and blues toward something more pop-jazz inspired. I can easily imagine your voice on this track, perhaps even with subtle female backing vocals.

A great song, captivating and truly impressive instrumentally.

The only thing I don't quite like is the fade-out at the end. A few final piano chords would have given the piece a stronger conclusion. On the other hand, I also have the feeling that this might not be the final version.

All in all, a musical highlight for me. Best regards,

Manuela
