Wow!
Incredible piece of jazz country rock eastern market trader busking!
I'm a bit lost for words.
There cannot be any definitive description for this.
The mood the taste the flavours and aromas this evokes are absolute magic with some kind of eastern promise in a very western setting.
This is one of them I'm blown away moments.
Got to have a commercial worth as well as being artistically top end.
Hey there Sman, thank you for the kind review mate, I particularly like the fact that you got my eastern, western empathy drift, so often these days (myself included) it's easy to get swept away by media driven political agendas and overlook the normal everyday citizens of eastern countries who just want to live and love life like we all do.
cheers mate much appreciated....Dave :)
I've been thinking of getting a violin or cello for some time to experiment with electronically.
You might have just convinced me to go for it.
Brilliant heavy heavy sound there.
I warn you now that bowing is extremely complicated and fraught with error and bad sounds. At least it is for me. And I've been playing stringed instruments for well over 20 years (2 months on the cello).
Yes, I like the heavy sound here and I think it's unusual. It's still a surprise to me that all that heavy riffage comes from a cello.
This is clever and creative stuff.
I get it!
My kids would love this.
When I say kids the oldest is forty odd youngest thirty odd.
Their teenage kids would like this too but guess what .... this old fart likes it too.
So well rapped out.
Do you really rap that long without breath or have you edited it to sound that way?
It's clever and clean editing if so.
Like the ending.
Very good stuff top notch.
What's the word now ... this is sick bro ... the dope.
Thanks! Yeah, it was fun to write but when it came time to rap it i ran out of breath initially. I basically took a big breath before each verse and went off of the momentum until the hook. Appreciate your comment!
Yes I get the cold and the white and the snow!
Your target of the game scene is spot on too.
I'm not a gamer but I have kids and grandkids who are and I can well hear this in that place.
I feel like I'm listening to the radio here.
Very nicely put together piece this and you've worked around or within that voice so nicely.
Very enjoyable from a listeners point of view and as someone who struggles everytime to get the production right it's very enjoyable hearing how this think gels together so well.
Spot on kiddo and here's to good health.
I too am suffering health problems which take me away from this place which I enjoy so much thanks to people like you.
thank you for the review and kind thoughts much appreciated matey, I head in next tues OZ time for a couple of ops in hospital, hoping then all things will be good, fingers crossed...peace mosaic...
Nice refreshing blast!
Your voice could fit in a lot of places but I think rock would be your natural home. Fantastic getting your daughter in there with you.
She sounds fantastic too.
I think you have a very emotive voice and cinematic seems a very good place for this.
I could easily be sitting in a cinema watching the first few minutes of a film and this is the opening soundtrack.
My only criticism is as mentioned by someone else ... to short. I could do a five or six minute listen on this easily.
Thanks for Silverman for listening to the track, its good to hear that you thought the track was good. Thanks for taking the time to listen and comment, I appreciate it.
That voice is pure gold and it alone should be earning you money. Advertising world ... documentary's voice over stuff whatever. People say money can't buy you happiness ... but what about bikes and beer?
I expect to hear this on the radio some time soon.
I'm going to have to kill myself!
For heavens sake I'm 63 and almost everyday I'm listening to and enjoying hip hop!
It wasn't supposed to be like this ......
I love the little tweaks in this that appear here and there ... I dunno what you call them but I'm sure you know what I mean. Extremely well put together. You or whoever are very good at editing and arranging this stuff.
Someone mentioned mixing and mastering it ... hasn't that already been done?
Glad you liked the song. Thank you for the compliments. Technically it hasn't been mix/ mastered no. It sounds ok to the untrained ear, but the difference as one of my sound engineer associates pointed out to me is significant. Didn't stop me you or the others from enjoying the song apparently, which is what matters most. Have a good day.
I love this and straight away it reminded me of Yoko Ono when she was doing this stuff. Please don't take that as an insult as I'm a weird old man who found Yoko had some very creative periods in her life. Great piece.
I think you might understand if you listen to this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VS5p345HBIM
The Ugly Bug Ball moves into the 21st century! Burl Ives it isn't!This needs to be attached to some mad professor documentary about the soil and it's inhabitants.I'm thinking termites not May flies.
Ahh, Burl Ives! Didn't he do a tv role as a millionaire?
I'm happy if the music evokes some buggy imagery. This really is for something more substantial than a May fly, you are correct. It is giving me the creeps thinking about those termites! best regards, Dan
Perfect.
I'm sitting in an very very comfortable armchair medicated to the eyeballs on opium and other relaxing things.
Glass of whiskey in hand ... I know I know but it helps the medicine go down.
Soft lights comfy chairs and spaced ut listening to this for the third time.
Faved.
Thanks for stopping by and listening and leaving a review. With your description you had me flash backing to The Far East (Thailand) where I lived for about 5 years. Was a lot of relaxing over there (LOL). Aint nothing wrong with that shot!! Hit my website below and the song is available for a free download until the end of May. Take care. Filãofsoul
You're exceptionally good at this looping lark Dirtz.
If I was driving along alone late at night along my favourite highway (A55 Wales) and this stuff came on the radio I wouldn't be giving it a second thought beyond this is nice and turning it up a bit.
Excellent stuff.
Thank you for such a nice comment. I am glad you enjoyed my tracks and understand what this site is about. You would figure that the Name Looperman would cut through to some.
I think you've done a fantastic job of this.
You're right it's a looper's site. Many people knock looper's but loop only based music is seriously limiting and this one breaks those limits. People presume because the software is easy to use then it's easy to create something people will enjoy. I've ventured more and more into add ons VST's soft synths and such.
At the end of the day if you're using animal guts skin bone wind metal wood electricity we're all trying to produce something that people will enjoy ... listen to. Want to listen to again be inspired relaxed excited by.
Great piece of arranging and I'm betting it took a long time auditioning all the samples.
Very professional sounding piece.
Thank You for the ears and Yes it takes a while to arrange each sample and even more time to audition each loop. I also want to thank you for understanding what Looperman is. It doesn't matter if you play an instrument or not, you're a looper here and you create with loops and you can post on Looperman for review. I use plugins and Vst's and Loops to create my track and I really appreciate a good ear and a sincere comment and/or suggestions. So with that said I want to Thank You again and Hope that you keep Following my journey is this world of Loopers.
Wow lot going on here.
I've tried so hard to get orchestral sounds mixed in with 21st century electricity but I just can't do it.
You've inspired me to have another crack at it.
I don't know what to say about this really because I'm not sure what I think of it where it sits with me.
One thing I know for sure is it has interested me enough to be coming back to it.
The nearest I got to doing something like this was with my track .... to war. but it didn't have this much going on.
I'll be back and thanks for the inspiration.
I do wish people would stop telling me to enjoy.
How can I can I listen to it properly if you've already decided what to expect from your audience.
Yes I'm in a grouchy mood just now and yet someone else telling me to enjoy has blown a gasket!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is putting the fun back in music.
Interesting use of loops and good panning.
At 2.46 something goes decidedly wrong with the mix but I have a feeling you don't care that much.
You had fun making it I had fun listening to it.
Enjoyable stuff.
I guess you are referring either to the seemingly off-beat and kind of random. I couldn't hear that when I was mixing it. Or maybe you are referring to a guitar loop that appears to be unnecessary because it was cut very short. I heard both times later on but alas I can't find the master project for this track so I'm stuck with it.
Otherwise, it was fun to make and I enjoyed making people laugh their drink out their noses. vic
