Love it so well put together!
Takes me back somewhere can't quite put my finger on it.
Bit of Laurrie Anderson bit of Yello?
Lot of originality!
Very catchy very proffessional very sellable!
I was notified that you had made a comment on my times pasing track which I uploaded quite a few years ago now so I wasn intrigued thought I's check you out.
This track is very listenable. funny thing is I haven't been on here for a long while but yesterday downloaded a pells from here see if I could stick something in a very percussive thing I'm working on just now... thought it must be something to do with that but no... how'd you come across me?
Anyway like I said your track is very listenable obviously very well put together.
If it was me I'd be tempted to put that come closer in a little more than it is and maybe do a long fade out... all the best and thanks for comment.
thankyou so much silverman, it was really kind of Danke to give me a chance, he is extremely talented and i usually rap or sing hip-hop. but this gave me the opportunity to be grown up for once, which i can be, i just love to write songs and tell stories and who wouldn't want to sing lead vocal for a real rock band anyway :)) its not done to bad either for feedback which im happy about, not for me personally but for the collab as a whole,
I'm driving through the night down the A55 North Wales Expressway through the tunnels roads quite apart from me and this blasting out.
OK I'm sat at my desk really but I think you understand.
Brilliant little piece.
thank you very much for stopping by and commenting on one of my tracks.
This little piece of yours isn't far off drone music with it's endless kind of space but it's brighter than drone music.
I've actually said a few times on here when commenting on other peoples work that I would like to do something like this .... distant and dreamy and I'd also like to do something with no beat no rhythm just textured layers of mystery .... best way I can say it but .... whenever I try I fail.
Keep at it I keep saying whilst failing to keep at it myself.
I just dried up but .... I think I have gotten to grips with Ableton now and some other stuff and I reckon I'll be back soon .... said this a few times ..... doing some experimental stuff.
I look forward to hearing more of your creations.
I can't believe you deleted my track because in your words it was too deep .... whilst praising you as being able to reach the stars ..... I think with Jamid sending nasty messages around to people and those people acting on that gossip from a shit who tried to post other peoples music as his own .....and now this .... it has to be goodbye.
You must definetely be confusing me with somebody else! How and why should I ever delete anything here? And all I do here is defenitely my own work - most of it played by hand and absolutely original.
So please take a second and think it over.
Regards,
Michael
I don't want or mean to offend you but I have a feeling that might happen.
You sound like to many others doing the same shit.
Thing is you are exceptionally good mate at putting together a seriously professional buyable saleable number again and again but my beef is you aren't trying hard enough to be you.
If you could only step aside from a .... format ..... become different than that regular format .... you could reach the stars mate. You have a cracking sound and it's always so well put together but every time .... it sounds like a million others with this ..... format.
You have so much going for you I don't think you're even aware of it and that's why your sticking with whats safe and known and already done.
Break out mate and you really could reach the stars .... what your doing has already become old .... I know I know shoot me ......
Looperman is the place where i experiment and try things out. Why would i be offended at your comment? Also why would I care? Don't get too deep bro just enjoy what the site has to offer id say. Thanks for listening.
OK on second listening .... there are some parts where the vocals are definitely muffled out by the bass.
he vocals need lifting out for the whole track not just parts of it but it's a fantastic number you have going here.
Thank you Silverman. You're right about the noises and cracks... and the mix of the vocals section too! I have to mix this again. Really appreciate your comment. Cheers and beats. Laurent
Cold and windy outside so I'm sat by my glorious coal and log fire with a glass of whiskey neat.
It has a faint smell of orange zest and honey is luxurious and your tune matches it perfectly.
When the glass is empty I'll refill it and replay your tune ..... just to make sure ......
I haven't been around for ages but here you are Joe and you never fail to please!
I've all but dried up for the last year but your old poem idea has me inspired me!
Well that's excellent. I am only here sporadically, at least recently and that you have just come back, that is very good.
And i am happy to see you on the loop again.
Cool to know that i could inspire you. I'm excited to see what happens.
So, a warm welcome back and thanks for your comment and Fav Mr. Silverman.
stay tuned
joe
P.S .: The whole thing is almost a series. You should listen to the previous song. The text there is based on a much older work of mankind. The -Te deum- from the 4th century ....... but I used the already translated versions from 1529 and 1774 to create a new work https://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/210321
and this song fits perfectly with these two, but the poem used is a work of mine that goes back to a poem by Christion Morgenstern https://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/208596
wHEN i LISTEN TO OTHER PEOPLES STUFF ON HERE i OFTEN PLAY A MINDLESS ON SCREEN CARD GAME at the same time.
I find it difficult to sit and listen otherwise.
I don't take the boring game seriously so don't let it distract me to much.
This is so well done and so pleasant to listen to that I forgot I was listening to a Looperman production altogether and came to with a jolt when it ended .... had to go back and listen again ... and then again.
Five stars.
Man that's got to be the ultimate complement. That you so much. Interestingly enough I've forgotten that I was on looper an a couple times while listening to someones track, and it had to be a damn good song. So I feel u man. Thanks so much.
Very nice journey.
I could do well in your jungle could you in mine?
Ignore that question.
I love the metallic sound of those Asian strings against the deep drums.
Give it great depth.
I'm just going to check my trouser legs for snakes and spiders and stuff you can never be to careful out there.
Great sound.
Nicely put together.
I don't think we've met hope to hear more of your stuff.
I'm the old fart on here I think and not been around for a few months.
Keep up the good work.
This is other worldly.
Spooky.
Very well put together with some great sounds in there.
It has a darkness where someone is plotting something.
You gotta get a story with this!
This is sharp and very aggressive and that's what makes it fresh.
Right on the edge with the grinding your teeth powder!
Finished cleaning yet.
This is mad crazy.
I like very much pow pow pow!
Got a live feel to it.
