i know its a bit early but i was excited to get this up as it took me a little recording as ive been pretty ill lol

you are very right in your opinion.. When i recorded this i had earphones and the volume was maxed out almost making me deaph.. I listened to it in stereo and sorroundsystems and you are very correct when the sound of the violin is muffled or "in tha bckground" of the rest of the tune unfortunetly.. Listening to the same tune in headphones tho, makes it comethrough alot more.. This was done without any mastering, just freeplay and liverecording with the violin.. I played the ukelele and figured that the violin cant be that hard.. I can take a couple of notes on it and it was sufficient.. At the end i started to go "at it" a lot more, but thats also the part where i silenced the tune out.. lol.. Twas fun working with it, and it will be a lot more for the fun of it.. Thank you so much for your review of my track.
I sang the vocals myself, layering about 5 takes together to give my voice some depth.
I've only made a few vocal tracks and they tend to be at times when I want to express an emotion or emotions that I have experienced, such as the song 'Memories' and 'Feelings'
both written about past experiences.
I have spent an enjoyable hour or so listening to your tracks and I must say you produce lovely pieces of music.

Hi Dan. I respect your comment's as always and what I was referring to in previous replies is the habit some people have of commenting on other people's tracks only for the promotion of their own. The way looperman is now working, your track goes to the top of the featured tracks when you comment on other peoples tracks. Its like with Soundcloud where people follow you only for the pupose of receiving a following back and not to look out for more of your work. I think we learn over time how to sort out people who respect our work for what it is and the intent of their commentary. I just try to be respectful as much as I can to those who do take the time to comment. Also as we are only communicating in text we can read what emotion we like into the meaning, one could be making a joke while somene else reads it as a serious jibe? Anyway I am glad you like the track and I do like to receive any comments that people feel could make it a better listening experience as I work alone and collaboration can be very powerful. By the way I just love the start of "White Lady" reminds me of early Alan Parsons Project.
