I like this theme and concept .... representative of a time of day, which is called in France also "entre chien et loup" ("between dog and wolf").... Maybe a bit repetitive, which gives the impression the day hesitate to get up ....

I'm not a singer, and that is unfortunate because I am very impressed by what you have done here. That is builds with a wraparound bass that gives depth to the whole. Just one gripe about the female voice who has too much effects .... But this is only my humble opinion of course.

The voice is quite good in this context of blues/ rock .... like in 60 years (the last century of course) .... It's very "The Stray Cats" in the 1980s also.
Perhaps missing here a good guitar solo .... But, Thank you for sharing your talent, and you have to perceverer in this direction ....

Thank you so much for the nice comment. I really enjoyed doing this song and it's so much different than my regular stuff. But I do think the blues style is more suited to my voice. Funny you mentioned stray cats, because stray cat strut is one of my favorite songs to cover when I'm doing live performances. I definitely agree with you about the guitar solo for sure. My father is a lead electric guitar player and I am hoping to show him this song and get a proper solo from him.
