on BIG THING by kristijann
This is pretty cool. I like the atmospheric effects that you've used througout the piece. It's dark and dirty with an excellent piano lick. I dunno really what JP is talking about when he says turn up the 808's as it all sounds fine to me although it ended quite abruptly.

on XyIlent - Monarch by XyIlent
Well this is something a little different. I like the woo woo sound and there's some cool synth effects and nice piano. But i agree with spivkurl, where's the bass? The kick drum is also a little bit clicky and could do with a bit more punch but the tune it's self is a good idea and the arrangement is nice. I also liked the noise effects that you used.
Keep working on it.

Hey FR! thanks for the listen and comment, and yeah after spivkurl's comment i sat for a bit and made a cool bass for it, and yeah for the kick drum ill try EQ it or something try to get rid of the clickyness :D thanks for the feedback man!:D

on Fun Trap Just Playing Around by PRODBYBUSS
This is pretty cool. Especially since it's just a mash up of loops. You've clearly got a good ear for loops that work with each other which is a talent in it's self (I hear a lot of people muck it up but this all flows really well)
Can't say as i know much about trap but this was fun to listen to. Shame it finished so abruptly.

Had no idea for an ending.. The good loops ran out basically and there was nothing that suited it.

on satur by Boon
This is pretty good but the mix is a little muddy sounding. You've got some good ideas but it's just been saturated in the mid range department and there's a little too much reverb going on. That scratch sound is pretty savage and i like the arrangement just ease up on the effects.

on circle of light by DanGoldstein
Nice mellow piece, It has kind of an oriental feel to it and i see you've found the FL plucked machine. I like the tribal feel to it and the mix quality is on point. I like the panning effects as well. You are definitely getting better at this Dan.
Well done!

thanks for keeping up with this one, Free. have added a harmor sound now at the beginning. actually the concept now is going from the mellow feel at beginning to something harder and building to an ending. i guess on a basic level mix is working out. have not done anything yet with reverb or fine tuning EQ etc. and there is something irritating at the top of that harmor sound which I need to reduce. thanks again. peace.

on Ambush by Anubis
Another fine piece of musical art from you Anubis. I like the way you always have a setting in mind for you pieces. This one kind of reminds me of a backdrop from the game tombraider which i'm "trying" to play at the moment.
It's creepy and intense with plenty of atmosphere and it could have gone on for a lot longer in my book.

Hi my friend
I am a fan of his electronic music.

great thanks to you Fr

thanks for the support, in my compositions.

Tomb Raider I played a lot, but the biggest inspiration for the songs came from "God of War"
and a movie called "Apocalypto"

the weather is very cold these days here in Brazil, raining Saturday and Sunday.
have a good Day.

on The Sting by DESTERO
You've been putting together some really good tracks just lateley and this one is no exception. The intro reminded me a little of Metalica but that's where the comparison stopped. Lovely work with the vocals and the guitar soloing. It's very professionally done, blended together seemlessly. The strings are nice, the guitars are great and this is just asking to be downloaded and faved so i think i might just have to do that when the track plays out.
This is the best track i've heard today without a doubt.

on Abstractions by Cyberliam
Good to have you back on board mate, this is some nice haunting atmosphere you've created here. Reminds me a little of leftfields more mellow stuff. The pads in this are great, it's very astral sounding and i like it when you bring in the drums for the big finale.
Niceley faded out as well.
#good track.

on AZZYKO - COME ON by AZZYKO
Yeah! Liking what i'm hearing, That synth line is ferocious and i like that trippy synth that comes in with the pitch bend on it. Now back into the main lick with an extra layer which sounds pretty sweet and there's a nice drum drop going on now. I would have liked to have heard some bass behind the second synth just to give it some extra punch but that's a minor complaint. Other than taht it's a good track.

Thanks for the compliments FR! I was thinking of that - lead and bass but I already started a new project with that so... :) Thanks again!

on Alergic To Cardinals by Koukotsu
This tune is savage yet melodic at the same time. I'm a big fan of that style and try to do it myself sometimes (with limited success) Love the phatness of the drum section and dig your melodies. I'm glad i found your page again because you do some blinding stuff. How about we try a collab sometime?
Be good to have you show yourself on the site again. It's a bit dead round here just lateley.
All the best,
FR

I saw your avatar whilst i was reviewing one of Spivkurls tracks so i thought i'd pay your profile a visit and check out some of your tunes. Haven't heard nothing from you for looooooong time. Anyway, this is sounding really cool, reminds me a little of john digweed with regards to the riff. I could listen to that all night. Anyway, the site aint the same without the old faces so where are you girl? You should come back because you make good tunes and what else are you doing anyway?
Kind regards (a very drunk) Free Radical (A.K.A. Nick Q)
It was good to see your avatar come up and even more of a pleasure to listen to your tune!!

on Runner in the Dark by Spivkurl
Thought i'd come by for another as i'm in a track reviewing mood tonight (must be the beer) This is cool with some nice pad work going on. It's got kind of a chip tune feel to it kind of like mario brothers on drugs (Like mario and luigi need that lol) The melody is pleasant and uplifting and i reckon that this would make a good computer game sound track. What i like about your stuff is you never know what you're going to get. I'm pleasantly suprized by this one.

Hey friend, sorry that it took a while to reply. You know how it goes...heh. Thank you for the kind comment! It's funny, because I started making trance before I had really listened to much trance. Kind of gave me a twisted view of things I guess. Pads have always been a bit of a challenge for me, but some of the time I can get it right, thanks for the support. Loved super mario bros back in the day (1-2-and 3) played it for way too many hours. I appreciate you listening to another old one!

on IMAGINE by PRINCELECTRO
I quite often think that euphoric trance and classical have a common ground so it's nice to hear someone capitalizing on that. This sounds great, the melody is superb and you've "painted" round it beautifully with those synths. There's a lot of emotion in the piece and some nice swooshing sounds going on in the background. Perhaps you should change your name to "Prince trance" because this is a fine effort and i would have downloaded it had the option been available. Ah well, i'll just have to FAV instead.

on Child Of The Matrix by brillbilly
Well since i'm a fan of what you do i know this is going to be good, especially as i know you use Magix and i can't do jack shit with that programme (tried and failed miserably) this is pretty melancholic with a touch of industrial, It's like the rough meets the smooth at exactly the right point and pushes all the correct buttons. Some of it reminds me a little of Queen when they did the highlander album. Excellent guitar soloing and splendid choir effects.
Really enjoyed listening to this.

on Come Undone Part One by ronwess
This isn't a bad track but it's not drum and bass. I don't really know what category you should put this on but if i had to pick one i'd say it's more electronic than anything else.
I like the synth part the best.

on In Between feat Minette by brotbackautomat
I love minettes voice so it's nice to hear a remix of her done well. The big swelling synth compliments her voice perfectly. The bassline is nice and i love the way the pads build. You've really hit the nail on the head with this one.
A very enjoyable listen was this.

on The Battle of Olympus by Anubis
This is sounding great with the nice menacing brass into and then we have some pounding drums. Do you make all of this with sytrus? I have a copy of that VST now and i tried working on the track you sent me but for some reason it wouldn't let me add anything to it.
Anyway, you've come up with another mega piece of cinematic mayhem here mate.
Sounding goooood!!!

Hey My Friend

I used in this song "Sytrus" for certain ambiences, and another Vst for "Brass" and one for percussion.

3 different VSTS.
my Fl studio, is the 9 XXL Productions

I can not understand for what reason you could not add anything.
We could try something else again.

I will send another email to you.

thank you for all support

on Cyberspace Version2 - 016 by joecramer
This is really great and i like the way you switch between German and English. I disagree that the mix needs sorting out as it sounds fine to me. It could be filled out with some pads or something just to give it another layer of depth but you've done marvels with the vocals.
This was a really good listen.

This is pretty wicked mate. It reminds me a little of some of the old metal stuff i used to listen to just done in a new way. The growly synths are nice and it's a good melody as well. Those hats are pretty mental as well.
You've done a good job here.

Less than a minute in and i like it already. The guitar sounds great, the vocals are spot on and the mix is blinding.

This track sucks dick homie! Just kidding. Kind of trance techno going on here, sounding really cool. Dig the basslines and the accompanying synths are really good as well. It's got that deep feeling that tracks seem to lack these days. I love the bass sounds in this the best and the melody towards the end is pretty ace as well.
