on Sik Style - No More Sorrow by SikStyle1
The lyrics speak well with this type of instrumental that backs it up full in my opinion. The sung and flowed vocals sink in get one thinking putting the sorrow aside to hear a soul wanting to rearrange. I thought you did good with this expression. Style is sikwitit and message delievered with interest. Good for anyone anywhere, still frame work displayed. A broken tune is seems but hopeful it breathes. Thank you for sharing with us, always keep your head held high. Peace.

on Find A Way by jdbeats
Excellent instrumental jdbeats. Instant chill mode for me. Piano and drums compliment one another while the bass shines in the spot where darkness stares. Vocal piece completes the package with the theme of the music. Enjoyable listen, like this a lot. Thanks for sharing, Peace.

on Please fasten youre seatbelts VIP by Skleeborg
The piano and pad plays well together. Nice add with the synth. Neat effect usage. But the drums could use some more parts for this idea. Interesting listen, thanks for sharing with us. Still unsure what VIP means. Peace.

on R U Lost by zahr
This is refreshing from reggaeton that Ive heard. Sounding good to me, I cant hear any problems with this song. Vocals are very good for the music. Has the questioning lost feeling in the chillness of the overall sound. Enjoyable listen Zahr. Thanks for sharing. Peace.

on Green desert by janis71
You're very creative Carole. I liked how you put this one together. Excellent use of the selected loops. Vocals sing smoothly to the ears and the lyrics talk truth to the heart. A well suited song for a loved one and agree it is a meaningful metaphor. I like the mixture of languages and musical sections. You've captured ways of past and modern somehow and an enjoyable listen it turned out. Your voice is lovely here at 3:18 to 3:26, sounds like sunshine peaking through the rain. I enjoyed this by you. Thank you for sharing. Peace.

on Cinema by LightAs1Feather
Interesting story. The lyrics got my thoughts painting the scenes to this movie. Creative and attractive approach. I really don't hear much of any problems except for what NWG mentioned about the vocal range on some of the notes your singing . For example around 0:19 into the song where you say "Action behind the camera" if you sang "Behind" like you do "Camera" I think might smooth out the feeling of whats being sung because "behind" doesn't sound in tune with music like "camera" sounds just my opinion. For the most part your voice fits the feeling of the music and it holds interest locked in. I did like the expressive direction with the vocals. Good use of Solunas instrumental and thank you for sharing. Peace.

on Simple Things by xpekt
Its got the energy, I can almost hear a voice, the instruments are singing man! Really dig how the drums and guitar keep this moving, the simple things travel far here. Thought a good job done with this idea Xpekt, the guitar is great but the drums are what pulled me through. The way its layered and whats being played got the mind on a hook. Holding on just to let it go is what I get from listening. Did enjoy it, Thank you for sharing Peace.

on Psychedelic Erotica by JJWeekz
Hello JJW, fresh air longing for I hear in this. You say not very good, this is great! It appears dark but I've never heard anything lighter. I saw a house with a downhill driveway, sun beating rays burn the floor, a woman walking down the driveway barefoot. She appears to look cold while all around is burning up. Eyes didn't lie. Very interesting piece and good loop usage. Your layering is just right. You should do more when time is available. Thank you for sharing. Peace.

Thanks friend! I really want to continue on this one, but I've exhausted all the loops in the 100bpm range which means now I have to hear for little snipits to slow or speed up in other bpms. Not sure how to continue this while breaking away from the repetitious pad but keeping the integrity of the song. Maybe the more I practice the more I'll understand how it works.

on Foul Child by duology
Diggin the flows here!. I got the wild style -sick scratchin- always been a foul child, that was a very good idea and I thought it worked well for this song. The instrumental is really nice, got a lot of feeling in your songs and is enjoyable to listen to. Good for different scenes. Thanks for sharing, keep doing what you guys do. Peace.

on Deforming by duology
This is real cool. A lot of the lyrics I understand in a sense which allowed me to visualize the story vividly. The instrumental is perfect for the topic. Its feeding the comfort of a mind in lost confusion. Hocus Pocus, demons in the bed of my head surrounding me wanting me dead, how those lines stay after the song is done playing. Really enjoyed this. THE UNBEATABLES! Thanks for sharing, Peace.

on Other Side Repercussion Part two by Denjan
The percussion here is excellent. The way they play with the pad gives a deep view. Like lifting out of body as the title describes other side. The synth pops smoothly and finds a place inside thoughts. It is interesting how you put this together, did enjoy this share, thank you. Peace.

I apologize for the one month gap in reply to your response. Thank you very much, your comment is very kind and appreciated!
DesignedImpression
Haha, I hear you make strange music too! What you got here is not failure, some parts sound interesting. Sometimes the synths get to be a little too much in my own opinion. Thats the only thing I can notice that loses me at parts while listening. Some dance rap fuse. Keep going! Peace.

SeriouslyJoking replied 3rd Sep 2013 - 12 years ago
Yes, I always end up doing really odd songs...this one is not even in a familiar genre so it's probably even worse than a little strange this time. Lol

Thanks for listening and for the review, noted about the synths.

on A Song for Her by MisterBloodworth
I think you did a good job. For that special her, she will like. The instrumental is talking some experience shared. Them holding on moments within the piano. The flute of journeys. Pads that bring spacial orbit round a thoughtful image of her face in light. Vivid music. Thank you for sharing this with us. Enjoyed the peace here.

I am very glad you took the time to listen and leave a comment. I'm very grateful that you interpret this song in such a way you did. I believe I will post a drum-less version of this song, to better push the sweet melodies more. Thank you again.

on PART 7 by Abysss
Oh wow, that completely twisted up when it kicks off. Dig how you brought the pace back to zoomed in with that guitar. I hear no problems, all pieces sounding real good. Gotta agree about the guitar work as others have said, a good feature in this idea. The pads really make that guitar feel good inside the mind. enjoy this kind of connection. True Blue. Thanks for sharing with us. Peace.
