Now this is what cinematic music is supposed to sound like....

painting a picture for the listener. This is good enough that you don't even need the movie to know what is going on :)

You nailed this Chris, flat out nailed it. Great dynamics, superb transitions, everything absolutely perfect.

Bravo!!!!!!!

My friend, I am not sure how I missed this one. It is happy and whimsical, and makes the listener feel so good. A beautiful composition, and a wonderful mix my friend.

This is an absolute gem and one I quickly added to my favorites. Exceptional work!!!

on Cross Rhodes- Mastered Version by CreateR
I listened to your other version of this first, then came to this one...wow, what a huge difference a good mix and master makes.

All of you have mad skills, and I really enjoyed this track.

By the way, the addition of a real drummer really provided the glue for this one.

Outstanding effort by all involved, and a wonderful way to spend my morning. Thanks for these few moments of bliss.

Nelson, I think this shows just how creative one can be when using only a single sample.

Or it shows your true genius. Not many people have the skill sets to put together something this good with those limitations.

Outstanding work!!! Hope all is well.

on an Instrumental hymnography by deciBel
Behnam my brother, what a great track. It reminds me of Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young in a way, and a bit like the Eagles as well (the chorus on the guitar is outstanding). It would be spectacular with vocals on it, but it is really, really good as it is.

I absolutely love the flute (memories of Jethro Tull).

I have to say this is a 10 out of 10 my friend. Fabulous work. I hope all is well. I added this to my favorites list, and downloaded to enjoy again and again (thanks for that)!!

wow dear adapt Bear ,I've learned alot here from my looperman family her,in this virtual world that is quite real for me , and you & your loops have been one of my best teachers in this recent year .do you know in all the years that I've tried to composed(since I was 14-till now that I'm 33yrs old ) ,I have never used no one loops,or no one Idea,no one musical thoughts,as much as I've used your golden loops (althought you have never heard my tracks which are made by your various loops) ,or even you may laugh to me if I tell you first time & by one of your golden loops in Bm that I found it about 6 months ago ,I discovered that there's something names ( Rhodes )which I've ever heard its sound but I didn't know its name & then I worked & studing about rh0des for 3months to use it , I'm sure you even can't guess how much you have learned me all over of this recently year(2012&these3months; of2013) & it's why you're only man I've call him adapt(& I don't know how I should call my teacher in english) cause how you may know I have never had any teacher about music in all this 19years that I've played some instruments),althought you've never known it.and else & beside dear adapt Bear, no doubt such amateur & experimental musician like me , never could be like thse great artists who you've written their name , for example althought you may hear flutes sound in my various trials, but funny if I say I've never seen any flutes (the same how I've never seen most of the Instruments that you play, like sax, trumpeth,or most of the other brass instruments) . I just try to composed by their sound , by converting various keys & using all my engineering mathemathical functions, althought it's not enough when you have never seen(or hear from near)some Instruments ,just bcause of being born in primitivism of middle east between muslim people who sometimes seems that they can close their brain, like their eyes(hahaha).
any way It would be honoured for me to see one of my most favorites artists in looperman, and one of 2 men that I've download most of their tracks in here ( U + beside the dancer finger Ed Cunningham-two artists that I've downloaded most tracks from their tracks ) has such possitive comments about any of my trials . & beyond the music it's such a good feeling(with proud) for me that I don't think to can describe it , when you call me brother .
about vocal line I'm agree with you, think it wouldn't be completed till there's not any vocal line, but my problem is this that I have various lyrics but all in my motherhood language. also I think this timing(5':15'')for such track is a little long.
my greatest appreciation about your such kind words which encourages me , wish all the bests for you .greates regards.__Behnam .

Soren, absolutely beautiful. Everything in this one is just special. From the piano work to your amazing guitar styling (that lead at the bridge is amazing stuff) - flawless performance.

A definite add to favorites for me, and I look forward to someone putting vocals on this. Beautiful work.

Bravo my friend.

Thank you Bear! I'm really glad you liked it, and even happier that you'd try to put vox ón it. That'll be neat I bet. It took forever to get to here, and I might still feel the need to turn a knob here and there. The piano is not mine to take crédit for. I only arranged and mixed it. I wish it was though :-P

on She Badd Snippet - Prod by Semaj by JabJab
I think you are headed the right direction. The vocals need to be mixed better...too far back in the mix (especially the section around the :45 mark.....they almost seemed muffled). I'm sure your label will get this sorted before you release it. Other than the mix issues, I think it's a great start. Hope all is well.

yh cheers for the advice man!

yeah i was thinking the exact same. the label has had alot to do so we havent had time to properly sit in a studio, so far all my tracks have been recorded on a £5 microphone with expired software.

eventually it'll sound crisp. but that alot for that man!

Bro, I saw your posts in the forum. It can be a rough place to make a point. That's why I make it a point to rarely go there. Anyway, you have some skills. Keep making music, let the BS roll off your back....like the rain, it all ends up in the gutter anyway.

Really nice work here.

Good flow on this one, nice job on the lyrics as well. I am no expert on hip hop, but I do know you have skills. Just keep at it. There are a lot of rappers out there with a lot less ability than you who are making a pretty good living at this. Keep the dream alive. Hope all is well.

Thanks Bear, appreciate the great feedback. I was happy with the piano sound on this one. I assume on your tracks you are using a miked acoustic piano as your piano sounds are so much richer.

Thanks again

Patricia, I'm such an idiot (must be old age). I didn't know you had posted this as well (I'm glad you did). So, my apologies for not coming by sooner and thanking you again for such a wonderful job you did on the vocals for this. You are a rare talent, and I'm so glad you so generously share that talent on my projects. You really are the best.

I was humbled by this when I first heard it, and feel the same way now as I listen to it for the several hundredth time. Thanks again for gracing this one with your gifts. I hope all is well.

I love spaghetti, especially the western kind. It's always fun to go back a few years and listen to your work. This piece is timeless, and really does belong in a movie. I watched Cowboys and Aliens last night and this would have worked in several scenes.

Thanks man! I recorded all the tracks through the mic input before I owned a digital interface. For an older track it still sounds pretty good. I'm trying to do some recording and learning on Ableton and trying to recapture this type of sound again but with more quality to the recording.

Thanks for stopping by. New songs soon!

Vis, I love reggae, and I really love this one. I hit the download button so fast I almost broke my finger, hahaha (thanks for the generosity). I listened to that vinyl in the 70's and you nailed the vibe.

The mix on this one is flawless.......

studio quality is what it is.

I just wish I could sing, haha. It stands on its own as an instrumental. Freaking awesome Vis. One for the favorites playlist.

I know absolutely nothing about DnB. But I do know great music when I hear it, and this is great music. It's difficult for me to offer any kind of constructive criticism, especially when I enjoyed it so much, so I'll just sit back and sip my coffee and enjoy the song.

Sometimes a smile is the best review one can receive. I'm grinning from ear to ear :)

Wow Bonnie, like Ed, I can definitely hear an Adele-esq quality to your voice. I love minor chords, and piano, and things that are stripped down and "unplugged." There is room for strings, drums, etc. but this also stands well on its own.

I am a huge fan of your vocals though. You are a wonderful addition to the Loop. I love the fact that you aren't satisfied with this one. That type of attitude will take you a long way in this business. Keep posting the hits. I hope all is well.

Coming from a talented musician like yourself Bear, that is a big compliment and much appreciation and thanks for listening and commenting. I had a Music teacher in 9th grade asked me to do a scale on the clarinet and I made an error. He told me in front of the band That I would never be as good as my sister (older). I got up and walked out and never went back. Taught myself keyboards and took theory in college. Never Listen to negative comments, Only positive corrective comments. You never know what might happen.
