This is outstanding Marty. It reminds me of some of the great cinematic pieces.....the ones that show the hero moving sadly around the city late at night....

like 2:30AM in New York City. It just has a nice big city vibe to it. What great chops you have.

I absolutely love everything about this one. Terrific work from start to finish. Thanks for dressing this one up and making it special. You definitely have taken it to a whole new level. I'm proud to be able to grab a download as well. Thanks for that.

Bravo maestro. Extremely well done.

Thank you once again Bear for providing me the opportunity to share in your great piano work. You are absolutely stretching me artistically sir. I have not really played anything in this style/genre before. I love it...

It is a pleasure to work with you!

Yeah, definitely no criticism here. Just a big fat smile on my face....like hearing Stevie again. You are seriously one talented musician. It's easy to hear that you have paid your dues....you make that guitar come to life.

Thanks for the download! I will enjoy this one again and again and again. Man, I'm a fan for sure.

Well done.

Hey Marty, the name for the track works just great. I'll send you my email address through the contact tab here at Looperman. You can work on anything I've got going for sure :) As far as credit goes on the video, you can use my name, Barry Morgan. Again, terrific work on this one. I look forward to your son's video as well. Thanks again.

Wow Marty, absolutely beautiful my friend. There aren't too many sax players on Looperman.com......as a matter of fact, the only one in your league is Slap Johnson (a legend on here). I think I can safely say Slap would be as impressed as I am with your playing.

You turned this one into an amazing piece. Beautiful work Marty, absolutely beautiful. Thanks for putting your magic on it. I hope all is well. And thanks for the download as well :)

Well thank you very much Bear... I apologize for not linking you properly :( Still new to this. I was an honor to add to your piano, really set the stage to be able to just play. I would love to work with you in the future on any of your projects/tracks. How do you want your name to appear for credit for this when my son is finished with the video? Also where can I send you a copy of the video when it is finished? Also, it appears that I changed the name a little? Do you want it back to Elementary or leave it as Sandy Hook Memeorial

on Natures Sacred Spirits ft Janis71 by brillbilly
Wow, this one is special. You are so good at constructing beautiful music, and then when you insert the vocal stylings of Janis, well, I'd say it is pretty close to perfect.

Loved the guitars in this one, just the right amount of verb and delay. Beautiful mix my friend. I was totally immersed in this one from the very first note.

Stellar work and a huge tip of the hat to both of you. Well done.

Big thanks bear!

Nature is my church and kind friends are my guiding lights.!

Sometimes theres so much more to the world than Debt,War and control,Which are all being manufactured.!

In the 80's n 90's it was all about saving the Animals.!
But today we cant save the Animals,as its more about trying to save the very Enviroment and habitats that they cling on to.!

Man Needs to understand he is Still Part of Nature.!

Thank you so much for keeping a few kind words, and offer them to me regarding my music.!

Im Always Trying to get some type of message out withing my music, from the titles to the settings and moods.!

I ask no more than for others to enjoy!....thank you!

on Happy New Year by JohnTravis
Oh man, JT, this is outstanding. It is just screaming for some vocals. Hopefully some talented singer will stumble upon it and be motivated to see about adding vocals. In the meantime, it stands on its own quite nicely. Love the little staccato "strings" in the background. The ending was a little abrupt, but that is no big deal :)

Beautiful work.

Thank you Bear!

I enjoyed creating this track because it was a little different than I usually do. After listening to it a few more times, I agree the ending is a little bit abrupt. I may have to work on it more when I can find the time.

If you have any ideas for a creative ending, or wish to add to any of my pieces, please feel free. (Just send me a message). I would definitely enjoy working with you and your natural talent!

As always, I highly appreciate the comment. -JT

Bro, looks like that new studio set up is working out nicely for you! Great cover of what is one of the best songs ever written. Like Ed ssid, pretty close to the original and dude, you flat nailed the solo, hahaha....OUTSTANDING!!!!

Looking good brother. Here's to a great 2013. And onward and upward to part 3 of the series from Pink Floyd :)

Bear,
Thanks man. Yeah the solo was a looming challenge on this one. The more Floyd I do, the more Mr. Gilmour teaches me...the guy can play like no other. But yeah, I got it. I tried using the Les Paul for the main rhythm but humbuckers gave it too fat of a sound to try to mimic a Stratocaster. The new studio is a gem for sure and I have been blessed. I have a couple more Floyd in mind...

I think you nailed it :) And you succeeded with the modality, and the eastern vibe. I loved the vocal work on this one.

Not sure what else you need to do with this one, the mix seems pretty good as well. Might just need a final master, but like Anonami stated, thanks for making this few minutes of my day a really enjoyable experience.

Outstanding effort. Hope all is well.

I just listened to Janis' take on this, but thought I would stop by and tell you in person just how good this one is. As Dave said, this one is ready for prime time. You have some serious chops and compositional skills. Everything on this from the guitar to the bass to the drums to the piano to the strings is absolutely pro.

I would put this one in the top 10 on Looperman for sure. I'm going to take advantage of the download and listen to this one again and again. Thanks for that.

Seriously, one of the best pure rock/metal tracks I've heard in a long, long time.

And I listen to a bunch of rock/metal.

on What Youre Remembered For by davepowell1
Dave, I think OD hit the nail on the head....a bit like listening to Geddy Lee, and man that is a good thing.

It takes a great deal of courage and talent to sit down and record both vocals and guitar, and not use overdubs on the final product. You pulled it off and did yourself proud.

I can see myself sitting in a large arena, and you up in the spotlight playing your guitar and singing this song......

beautiful work.

Definitely one of the best songs I've heard in a while. I hope all is well.

Your producer was right....

you killed it..........

He's got great taste in song choices and you could sing street names and make them sound good.

Your control, inflection, dynamics, perfect pitch and that buttery tone....well, simply sensational. Not sure why you aren't famous, but if you ever need a Bus and a Bear to drive it, just give me a holler :)

Absolutely stunning performance OD. I'll shut up now and hit the replay button. Hope the holidays were great for you, and here's to someone discovering your amazing skills in 2013. All my best.

Not sure how I missed this one, but I'm glad I found it! This is quality stuff and radio ready. If disco ever makes a comeback it will be because of tracks like this one.

This is just about as good as it gets. Great bass line, superb guitar work, and Patricia's flawless vocals over the top.....man, winner, winner, winner.

Fantastic work! It really shows your diversity.

And that lead guitar solo towards the end, AWESOME!!!!!

I really like the way the guitar puts some real grime over the top of the synth, kind of like a greasy musical gravy, haha. Like Po5eidon, I would like to hear it with a more polished ending, but that is my only criticism. All in all, very nice work.

on Telekinesis FULL VERSION by Jowe
I think this qualifies as dub/cinema....a new genre perhaps. I like what you have done here. I think the idea of some dark breakdowns is good, perhaps even some subtle pauses would add to the suspense (just 5 seconds of silence in the right spots). But that is just nit picking. A really well done track for sure. I enjoyed it. I hope all is well.
