Description : So much of the music I like has it's roots emanating from Africa, this track may be so far removed from their traditional style of music to be foreign but I'd like to think I'm connecting to those roots in some way.

Description : I thought I would try something a little different. I've always had an affinity with the American Indian and their love of the land and nature. I hope I've been able in some small way to capture the essence of their spirit.
Description : I'm from Denmark/Copenhagen, and I traveled all the way to Sweden/Helsingborg just to experience the ultimate Swedish nightlife.
I have been to the hottest VIP clubs in Copenhagen and Milano. Nothing come even close to the Swedish nightlife.
I went to a bar called "Benzin Bar" and they put the bardisk on fire(with Benzin) and danced on the tables. The bartender toke some of his cloths off and sprayed champaign around and the music-mix was insane!
If you want the ultimate party experience, then Sweden is it!
I just got emailed the music director of a big Swedish radiostation. The music director agrees with me that Benzin bar was amazing! He puts this track on the music rotation!
I freaking love Sweden!
Description : I played this in 2005 and this one recorded by a webcam microphone in my home.

And another loop by soservilious, but i cant fine their profile on looperman anymore!!
I know you have put your instruments away and parted company with music, but I am still so happy to find some of your work still posted here for all of us to enjoy. You truly have such marvelous abilities and it is such a shame that your circumstances don't allow for the expression of those talents. I listen with both a mix of sadness and happiness. Sad that you are no longer creating music, but happy that there are still gems like this one out there for us to all enjoy. I hope life is treating you well Behnam. All my best to you.

okay ate last tonight i found this chance to listen to other tracks from my strange friend in looperman and you are only musician who i see every time every play opens a new world for me it looks like that there are a team that compose your tracks because i donno how one musician can make something like this and some thing like misanthrope or those metal musics that i have her from you!i am confused how you can be
like this!but Ben why not download?i like to have tjis in my playlist buddy!i dunno these instruments you have in this track but they sound like you unique and in a very amazing way!again thumb up Behnam.
These are not instruments I am familiar with but ones that I do enjoy listening to. I liked all of the parts to the song, the ending beat was a bit different though. It has a live feel to it, like there is a few Benhams sitting around jamming together!! That would be cool to see!!
Another great job Benham, you always open my eyes wider to music every time I visit your tracks page.
I liked the bagpipes. I read your reply to phatkatz4 about a bagpipe loop pack. Would you be so kind as to email that link to me? I think I might use those in the future.
Thanks for sharing, wonderful track!
Wayne
this is dope! i listened all the way thru!
Id be honored to collaborate. I just downloaded and I will use some parts and add a few of sounds to make this gold. Thanks for including me.
woow i dig it .i love that bagpipe!
have you played mandola?
it sounds very real.
i didn't feel it is 6 minutes!
my vote is track is superb and doesn't need any change.
you are a strange tallent of muzik.
I love pattern in the beginning I would keep that throughout the whole track and make the other sounds bigger to really suck your audience in.
Id make a shorter intro: from 6th second you could jump straight to 25th, 26th second. Like three bars from the first drum loop and one bar from the second one, to launch the mandola, for example.
Its not a written rule, but lots of times if you have a loop which goes for 4 bars followed by another one which goes for another 4 bars, you can melt them keeping the first going for 3 bars and the second for the last bar: it often launches the following part very well.
You could do something like that between 1:04 and 1:26, for example.
Amazing work my friend! I would not change a thing about this! Very original in so many ways, but classic too! Wonderful rhythms! Perfect mixing for a song of this sort! I'm in awe of you! Faved for sure!
Behnam...there are no pictures of me on the internet...lucky for me haha....I have some music under the studio name West Tracks Music here:
http://www.acidplanet.com/artist.asp?songs=1049716&T=2942
and a few tunes on Soundcloud....
and you would not want to see a picture of Grandpa Ed.....
Surprise...surprise.....and bravo Behnam...That percussion and the instrumentation are a beautiful marriage ...don`t change anything...I have used bagpipes in several Celtic tracks I have done in the past and also Uilleann pipes which are Irish...I am originally from Northern Ireland and lived in Scotland for 2 years...so while they may be unusual for some people I am quite familiar with the sounds....This is the first time I have heard them use with an Eastern flavour..and I really enjoyed it.....Your creativity is a wonderful gift my friend....well done indeed......Ed
My brother Behnam, I would not change a thing on this one. It is absolutely perfect. I have visions of the Grand Bazaar in Tehran when I listen to this.
You have such a unique and wonderful style with all of your music. Just when I think I have you figured out, you go another direction and show me another facet of your musical talents.
Really well done Behnam. A song for the ages. I hope all is well.
Bear
mira te quedo brutal la pista como la de ragga
This is so enjoyable behnam!
Very unique,I dont think you should worry about removing anything.!
I cant tell you to add or remove any instruments as its unique to your persian style, and i've not heard anything like it.!
What i do know is its very enjoyable and full of middle eastern Mysticism, and i like that!
Just keep doing what your doing,as its sounding so enjoyable.!
Good work my friend!
life love n unity to you and your loved ones!
Hi Behnam,
Again a wonderful piece of music.
I agree with the others: there is not much to remove here.
The bagpipes are wonderful and the other instruments are completely new to me: listening to your song has been a real experience for me. Thanks!
The only thing that it is not "as good" as the rest is the final "percussion" part. I think it is the same part you use in the intro, but when it starts again (~6:30) it breaks a bit the atmosphere. Maybe a fade-out on the bag-pipe theme would be better (just a thought).
For the rest: superb! I really enjoyed every minute: I have listened to this already 3 times in a row and I find it soooo interesting. Definitely something out of the ordinary.
Thanks my friend!
Domenico
every second counts in this - defiant and pastoral = rock.
woolly rock!!!!!
so i must quote patti smith:
I was dreaming in my dreaming of an aspect bright and fair
And my sleeping it was broken
but my dream it lingered near
In the form of shining valleys
where the pure air recognized
And my senses newly opened
I awakened to cry -
That the people have the power to redeem the works of fools
Upon the meek the graces shower
it's decreed
the people rule.
The people have the power
Hi Behnam. I would change nothing at your track. As Dan already said it is not the usual music we hear otherwise here, so it's good that we often hear such music from you. It sounds interesting and is made distinctively Persian with your heart and soul. Keep it up my friend. Marko
Hey man, anytime I hear bagpipes it gets my Scottish blood boiling and I want to grab my Claymore and paint my face blue! But this wasn't Scottish bagpipes, this was something special, something with Persian blood running through it. Really like the beat, maybe your guitar might improve it.
Kenny
Bonjour Behnam ....
For me, there is nothing to remove here. This is another facet of your talent, and feelings that motivate you. Also a way of expressing yourself freely ....
This is not of music, that we can usually listen here, but it allows us to travel without moving from his armchair.
Honestly do not touch anything, and thank you for sharing this moment if intense for you.
