Listen To Rain Interlude Rock Song By TheNewWaveGroup At Looperman.com

Description : So I have this epic song Rain. If I included every part I've produced for this song it would be like 15 minutes long. I've recorded it many times trying to get it just right - never satisfied though. I think it would be a rock classic if we could do it right.

This is the latest but probably not greatest incarnation of the Interlude section of Rain. Kinda thrown together sure - just a simple studio one drum track and a hastily chosen (but decent) mag organ type sound set as the background for the Guitar centerpiece. You'll notice I tried to inject a couple time warp tempo changes. Not so well I think but it's my first try at that in studio.

If anyone likes the work and thinks they can master any one or better yet all of the back tracks for I certainly would love the contribution. A great vocal would be nice too.

If yer interested, a complete studio version of the best so far version of the song Rain is on my old website. Guess I can't link here. I'll link in my profile if that's allowed or will upload sometime soon if anyone is interested.

Thanks for listening!

Cole K

Hey man awesome interlude! Lovin the guitar work. Would like to hear the rest eventually. Hey just wanna say thanks for puttin me on to the Planet P Project. I really like their style. Some really exciting synth work, awesome harmonies and just something a bit different from what you hear from the bland popular music these days. Diggin 'the Shepherd' Might have to get a copy of their back catalogue =)

Thanks for the kind words Jo. I find it interesting that we are in distinctly different genres yet both very much appreciate each others music. Variety is the spice of life bro! Cheers!

Hi Sherris - thanks for the kind words. Knowing people appreciate one's work makes it all the more worthwhile. :-)

No I'm not a lady actually - my avatar is a pic of one of our singers.

Don't tear up your teachers! Keep practicing. It takes time. I've been playing guitar for 36 years! :-O

Hey Sherris, did you know the Gene Simmons from Kiss is from your hometown?

Like this but it's too short on it's own, and I know it's just a fragment. Would like to hear the rest, but what is here is not bad at all

I'd be happy to share E. Prob is I can only upload one track every 24 hours - guess it's a probationary period. Understandable. It's an old song that needs to be redone right. I'll take all the help I can get. You sound good with the bass. :-) That would help. In the meantime if u like, you can have a listen to my well written but not so fabulously produced catalog a my old music webpage "colek dot net".

If you'd like me to guitarify yer tune, send me a link or a track in a PM. Or just upload. Prolly won't be this week though. Work is kickin my arse.

Tempo changes are always difficult. Again, I really like your guitar work. You could throw some reverb on the track in the mastering stage and turn it into a "Rush like" arena recording. Don't give up on it, because it has serious potential. Another good effort.

Description : "Celebrate the Cornerstone," penned by Kay Matteson, John Matteson, and Richard Shekari, is an uplifting contemporary worship song that beautifully encapsulates themes of salvation and divine love. Drawing from biblical imagery, the lyrics highlight Jesus as the Chief Cornerstone—initially rejected but ultimately essential to faith.
