Aw man...I love this one...everything about it just leaves me saying Oh Yeah...Like those volume swells Allen...I used to try doing them with my pinkie & the volume knob & noticed Mark Knopfler doing them with a volume pedal...I`m going to have to check out tyhose Zoom units (never owned one)....all round great job guys...change nothing....and thanks for the download...This one`s gotta go on my mp3 player...Ed
I have to say that when I was a kid in the 70's I learned a lot from Christian guitarist Phil Keaggy. My Father was a Pastor of church and I was the typical preachers kid but I played a Les Paul like my idol Phil and he used his pinkie finger for the swells and I adopted that Technic, but it is harder with a Tele...but that's how I do it,with the Pinkie.I've tried a volume pedal but I can't do it,It's something about being able to swell it so smoothly and on the spot...not reaching for a pedal.
Thank you so much Ed,Your comments mean so much cause I believe you know what I'm trying to do with my/Collab songs...I just want to be an added addition that complements the song,If I can do that,I'm A happy man!
Hw nice to hear this thoughtful kind of composition delivered with much talent...Its part of what attracted me to this little community (I was 1 of those who stopped by to look for drum loops & eventually hit the tracks tab to discover the music)...Very nicely done Bob, and I really like that flute..I just downloaded Alchemy Player in my search for a better flute sound than those I now have (I play the keys poorly but love the challenge)...much enjoyed..I`ll be back to catch up on some of your other tracks.....Ed
Its just a dm nice piece of easy listening music DjDaz...very relaxing...Wheather its the right thing likely depends on your audience I guess, but I`m with visualword....I`m just gonna sit here & listen...well done...Ed
I was attempting to go for the kind of background music you might get in an elevator or restaurant. If sitting back and listening is what you feel like doing, then I've achieved exactly what I want! Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed the song!
Thanks for taking the time to listen
Daz
upliftingis the right description visualword...worked for me...I`m not up on the different Latin rhythms myself...I just call them all Latin....well done...Ed
very dramatic stuff AD...you have painted the mind pictures with the ebb & flow of the music...some thoughtful composing...really well done...perhaps the ending was a bit abrupt, but that doesn`t detract from what you have done really well...Ed
Thanks bro and i might redo this one with a proper ending because im still new to the Program im using(MAGIX) so i guess u can call this incomplete hehe. Anyway thanks for the comment and im surprised i got a lot of the Old members on this one, When i finish my new one which is better if u ask me il upload it for you guys to hear. Have a good day =)
wow....very pro track guys...I`m just an instrumentalist myself so this one appeals to me perfectly just the way it is..I have often wished for a vocalist myself to take a musical idea the rest of the way up there...but this one speaks without words...great job...Ed
Hey TW, thank you for the listen and thoughtful review my friend. Your tracks are perfect the way they are as your guitar playing is in essence a vocal performance of its own but I guess it’s always interesting to see the direction that a vocalist can possibly take with a song. Thank you for the listen again.
Hi and many thanks for your nice comments on my track The Calling. The flute is off Alchemy, which is now a free Synth.
Only two tracks on this one.

very different Sergej...I can`t say that classic is on my frequent listening list & really the closest I likely come to gothic is listening to Nightwish (Norwegian metal band)....But...you do your music with much imagination and a lot of talent...so its always a pleasure when I stop by here and find a new one from you...You have imprinted the title perfectly in the music...superbly done....Ed
A good song...an acoustic guitar & some big talent....gets my undivided attention all the time...you have a good one going here Micaela..plus thoughtful work on the compositi enjoyed it...You could even bring the vocal up a couple of dBs ...its good.....Ed
Tumbletweed: Thank you very much for your comment, very appreciated! Im new to looperman so Im trying to catch up, so thank you very much for your comment!
Those synth pads are real emotion grabbers Alxsix...and I like your compositional thinking in the way you put this one together...very chill kind of flow that makes me just want to kick back it my chair & hit loop play....very nicely done....Ed
You two ought to just fire up the tour bus and share it with the world...I must have missed this one when I was here before, but gotta say..absolutely every track I hit play on has been bring a big smile to my ol face...just anothert example here...big talent guys.....Ed
Right on Sasu74...you had a fantastic vocal to work with...but it takes big talent to wrap it up so dm well in this kind of music that just embellishes the song so well....A very pro piece of work and kudos to you on the production...I can`t hear a single thing that is not really well done...Ed
When i hear certain acapellas by Patricia,a song literally materializes to me.After that realization,i start to carve out the song.
All i can say is that it takes a little time and you really have to qualify every note that you use.If you have vocals in a piece of music, you have to support the feel of the vocals, sometimes even the lyrics.
Basically,i don´t give myself any slack when i do music for real. But of course,i enjoy the whole process,it´s what i live for :)
Thank you for your very kind words,Tumbleweed. It´s nice to get some feedback from other music maniacs like myself, lol.
We can only improve,my friend ;) Leeeets geeet mixiiiing! lol
Yes...definitely interesting...also fantastic listening Sergej..particularly like the ambient pad sounds you wrapped around the pella and noted that you get some good power in the low frequencies the way you Q the kick drum...much enjoyed...Ed
You are good listener Ed, you catch it all, yes pad is ambient and it's not so usual to use it with ac.guitar...
I'm glad you like the drum...
Thanks..!

You just can`t go wrong with Richie doing the music..He is just doing some awesome stuff (I`m definitely a fan)...and the vocals are fantastic here Patricia..great width on the harmonies seems to work a treat and the delivery is totally on the money...a well done on the production too..nice to hear every instrument nice & clear and all the air & dynamics still intact....well done both of you....Ed
hppe you post a link when you upload the video Vicen...really like this one and even though I do not understand the lyrics I do understand the excellent job you have done here....Ed
nicely done stephenfewell...like the composition, smooth vocal & production you have on this one...has a great front row depth to the mix the way you have done it....Ed
cool percussion here DV...I stop in once in a while for lessons you know...not that I do electronica so much...just that your page is a dm good source of ideas....Like that acapella that Minette did...and very nice piece of work here on building around it.....well done......Ed
Muchos gracias Ed. That's my main drive with music- the ideas (and experimentation). I love playing around with new concepts (or with older, established ones that I have yet to try my hand at or haven't heard anyone do in a while). If I can inspire/motivate others than I feel that I've succeeded at my mix-craft. As for genres, we all come from our own particular schools, but the beauty of audio is that we can freely move from one to another. I'm glad ya enjoyed this. Lates!
Great track guys...just something about it that keeps me listening....super backing music & great piece of work on the vocals...I would even bump the vocal up a few dBs...really well done...Ed
Oh Yeah....ultra smoooth coolness here NDA....superb job on the vocals/harmonies and the backing music is just wrapped around the whole thing like silk...Big talent on display here...fantastic listen .....Ed
I just downloaded a copy NDA....have a couple of mixes to finish up this weekend for a U.K. group so will see if I can maybe make some guitar noises on it for you next week....I`m kind of slow & sloppy but will try not to screw it up too bad...Not sure what I can come up with but if I get something going I will mail you next week some time & see what cooks...keep on man....been listening to Al Green lately (greatest hits cd) & thinking you could do some of that sweet soul he has been doing forever...love the man`s music....Ed
