thanks Ian, im really enjoying working with some talented people of late, only having to concentrate on writing and delivery and the producers can work their craft , as i don't need to look for tracks i can do more writing and improving my keyboard playing, i will eventually play all my music with my vocals, something i never thought i'd achieve, thanks as always

Nice work Anthony - I particular like the instrumentation and as noted the staging. The vocal synths are interesting hey - Ive played a bit with them too, you have used them really masterfully here. Gentle, warm, ethnic sounding chill track

on Wrong Numb3r - Part 01 by Pnnywze
Class - once again you use trap beats whilst avoiding sounding stereotypical (which is sometimes an issue with trap in unskilled hands I reckon) . Love the interweaving melodies and all the subtle touches adding texture and colour.

Pnnywze replied 5th Aug 2024 - 1 year ago
Much appreciated my friend. This one i very much a kickback & chill track, I try to put as much visualization as possible into every piece i do. Sometimes it works out lol. Im happy to see so many peoples growth that Ive grown to admire i this community. As long as u put out stuff to hear, Ill be around to hear it man. - Aaron

on Warriors Of The Beat ft Manuela and Mel by dimestop
Love the track - the 'girls' voices are gorgeous and the beautiful instruemention, soulful mix and gentle heartfelt beat ... and then youve gone and showcased a lovely rap ... great work here
dimestop
dimestop replied 24th Jul 2024 - 1 year ago
thats a lovely comment Ian, its also inspiring, you work in the business of building belief in somebody after listening to their story, a good skill , certain people are gifted with their ears, listeners, choosing the right words and when to intervene.
you know i have no expectations but this hopefully inspires people not to give up, no matter their age., have no expectations, you remember when i first came, so green and no idea what i was doing, now i'm working with pro' like Manuela and the guys, i may only ever be a feature on LM, ive had over 61,000 listens in a few short years, thats still a great achievement, better than being a star in my own living room with no one listening :))

on Souless by AnthonyAttard
Hey Anthony - nice work mate, mix is on the loud side I think close to clipping but still clean, so well done there - and yes that flute works a treat and you've used the loops and trap beats skilfully - congrats. Next step is to break the conventions are bit more imho
AnthonyAttard
AnthonyAttard replied 21st Jul 2024 - 1 year ago
Hello, I am so glad you've listened to the track and of course really pleased that you liked it. I know I am on the loud side. I depend on software which is very sophisticated, with lots of parameters, I try to learn for my best outcome. There was a time most of my sequences ended up dull, with no brightness. This I try to avoid so possibly I overcome some limits. About the conventions I do not know what exactly you mean. Is it that I sound a bit outdated, possibly, but I hope I'll find the way to create more contemporary music. Thanks again
Best wishes, Anthony

love it - a bit of lofi swing - the haltering beat is so nice and the sense of space in the mix outstanding - got to agree with Alien about the synth too

on Veterans In Hip Hop by dimestop
Great hip hop - and great accompanying rap - I agree the mix is a little strained - as robin says like it's being played on an old radio - weird how sometimes our favourite sound production chains don't seem to deliver quite the same outcomes but that keeps us on our toes hey. I'd love to hear what Manuela could do in the studio. Love your creativity and open, community minded, spirit mate, keep it up.
dimestop
dimestop replied 17th Jul 2024 - 1 year ago
hi Ian , thanks for the check, yeah its funny about the vocal chain, it sounds better in my daw than here and i cant put my finger on it, but like most my stuff, i tend not to revisit after ive uploaded i tried to get that old radio sound that was a preset i used, it never worked exactly tho, i may come back to it but ive got some big pieces to come that im working on that im actually really excited about,

on Interlude 103 by Pnnywze
Hey Aaron - I gave this a fav on first listen ( a few days ago I think) but never go to comment. It's a little gem perfectly balanced, engaging melodies and gentle trap beats just picking us up and taking us along - very nice work

Thanks my friend. This one kind of came out of nowhere, honestly. When itwas done, I let everyone around hear it, as i always do, and they were all kind of stunned, myself included. when i go into the zone, alot of the time Im focused on such minute things that the finished product is just as new to me as everyone else, if that makes sense. Thanks for the Fav bro, thats an honor, im grateful for every one i get. Ive got so much new material i dont know where to start, but something new will be up soon. Thank U brother. - Aaron

on Lunacy by dimestop
Hey mate - this has to be your finest production yet (I think) it's faultless and the music and vox are a brilliant fit ... stats hey ... we may not like them but they do show who contributes and who is a bit of a freeloader - I dont think there is anyone more community minded than you, so good on you
dimestop
dimestop replied 12th Jul 2024 - 1 year ago
thanks mate, im getting deeper into the engineering now, the really small things that you tend not to bother with, stereo separation glue frequency shifting dynamic EQ altering the bandwidth sidechained reverb and delay using meters checking the levels peaks and clipping just pushing for a more pro finish. ive got some great to come, one in particular just arrived in my inbox, it took my breath away, i haven' t started it yet, but it will be my biggest track ever, it was wrote for me personally and i think it will impress everyone on LM, keep listening mate

on Sweet piccolo by lofizzer
well, I listened to your 'pipe' tune off line and it seems you have thing going on with blending some of the old traditional sounding instruments with some of the new - lute and piccolo sounds in here along with with (not quite) Gregorian chants - perhaps not quite as successful or tight as the last tune but still very nice listening indeed : ) Keep em coming
