You guys go a long time between drinks and always come up with something unexpected - Im not sure whether you should keep on or stay off the grass - at any rate this is a gorgeous reimagining of an old classic, though in the past I would have said my fav version was from the carpenters - not any more : )
Thanks Ian, yeah I paid for my one (on special of course). Hope you had a good break and New Year etc. Pretty quiet over here, though we did actually see the new year in for what must be the first time in a while...
Mixing it up guys! Quirky and playful lyric and vocal and beautifully produced with some glorious 'breaks' and small melodic flourishes /outbursts of lush dreamy sound. Very enjoyable listen
You have done a great job but with so many words it is I think more complicated to make the music fit - perhaps Kays comment about it fitting in a musical points to narrative weight of the poem. Still very well played and produced
Thanks Ian!
Your comment about fitting the music is well noted. You would want to see a bit longer musical break? That sounds very good!
I created some more space around 2:30 by muting one verse. What do you think? Thanks a lot man for listening and commenting honestly!!
well I thought heard a hint of bridge over troubled water in the intro chords but your gorgeous voice lifted this track up to a iconic place of its own and my word the production and musicianship really showcase your voice too - beautiful work
Very nice - the pan drum sound and the repetitive quirky (nonsesne like) vox create a lovely dreamy slightly exotic rhythmic resonance which the other elements in the song and in particular your voice ring to. I dont know why exactly but this reminds a little of those english bands like xtc and fun boy three - I guess its an 'English aesthetic' (but updated and sounding original here). Congratulations
Wow - what a track - mix is amazing and the balance between the elements and the way they work together superb. These Monzder Squadd tracks are so fine - your setting the standard here.
Hello my friend, what a journey its been, and still continues to be. This kind of encouragement is what fueled the fire from the beginning, and continues to. I truly appreciate the continued support and I hope youll continue the journey along with me and the rest of the squadd. Each track is a learning experience, and as we grow and get better, the sky is the limit. None of it would have been possible without the solidarity of the community here, and that doesnt exist without you man. - Aaron
Nice work - love the chugachug metal guitar when it comes in and the synth like lines (possiblly treated guitar?) interweaving with the beats and coming kind of cross rhythm is very classy. Also really nice builds and breaks, love the interplay of parts and vocal and good use of tape stop fx too. And special mention a dark and somewhat captivating vocal performance , along with well delivered rap and very good lyric. I could go on but I'll get boring! So I will just say well done to you all.
Look forward to hearing more like this one. : )
Man, what a comment bro. Thank u so much for that, it really is what truly fuels us. I think every member of the group has stepped it up a notch on the last couple of songs we're working on before the album is done. Its kinda crazy that we have a whole album worth of material either done or being worked on. My brother is gonna make cover art and everything for it, we want everyone that wants a copy of it to get one, and share it as much as possible lol. We've been so happy at the reception we're getting, and i hope u stick with us man. BTW, a new one is dropping tonight here on LM.
Nice work - the music is beautiful - kay is doing a yoko on this one and your spoken word delivery is very classy - Id drop the yeah's and turns of phrase that might anchor the track as uniquely yours (not because they are bad but because I feel like Ive heard them too many times and I want to hear a fresh vocal performance and tbh I find the level of self referencing that many rappers do adds little to a track and is therefore unnecessary - I understand you do this with your tongue firmly planted in your cheek but I dont think you need to ) That said, this complaint in no way undermines the quality of the track - it's a very good lyric and a lovely track overall. Well done to all of you.
lol, my mate said the same thing to me on Monday Ian, he wasn't complaining he just said YEAH and FEEL ME NOW appear in lots of your tracks and i was laughing saying i use them like a tag, he said i know, just do one without for me bro, its not like you stuck for words, so this just made me smile at the coincidence and im mastering my next one, and i haven,t used them, thanks for the listen mate its always good to work with Oli and Kay
Wonderful sound - disco funk - great bass, great guitar, great synth lines, killer beat, nice vocal ... you absolutely deserve the accolades for this - Superb track
Killer track - so intricately layered and well made - absolutely reminds me of why people say classical music and heavy metal share a lot of commonalities. Beautiful composition and very fine craftmanship
Pseudo, thank you. I appreciate it. There are definitely a lot of similarities between metal and classical, but beyond the distortion, there are still so many differences. I like to think of it as if Metal is Classical's angry grandchild.
Thanks for the time and the comment. Again, I appreciate it.
Take care.

Hells Bells Mark - I loved it the first time - I have no idea what is different now - (though I cant remember the guitar sounding like that) but it's still an absolute sonic treat - equal parts intensity and musicality. Not one for falling asleep too.
Ian No problem if you need this one for a wake-up alarm LOL! Thanks, my friend, for swinging back through and your reaction. It does the heart well that you enjoyed yet another listen. Peace
Nice sound production, vox are tight and showcased well by the slick trap beats, energentic pulse and sweet pads and bass tones. the female vox is a treat too
Great stuff kind of reminds me of Devo meets Kraftwerk but more of an off beat alt pop thing happening - as many have said sound production, mix, etc is excellent. Easy Fav this one. More please!
nice dark sounds - I know its trap but it was so very much leaning right off toward a metal type riff (or lead) so no big surprise when it came along so beautifully - your little bro sounds wicked and always loved Lu's voice - congrats to all of you
Hey brother! I'm not sure how to classify the music that we're working on. There's going to be more guitar and stuff like that, its definitely going to be multi-genre stuff when it's all said and done. I wanna say we have at least 4 more tracks in various stages of completion. The main thread is the creepiness. Yeah, my brother has come a long way, and I'm thrilled to finally work with him in a meaningful way, and Dusty and I just meshed right away. Same with Lu. Every song seems to be getting better, as well. I'm having a blast, man. Glad u got to check it out man. - Aaron
Thank you so much for listening and commenting on my music. But, I dont understand the term busy (it is really good for me to understand). You mean there are many instruments playing, there is an overdose of what? Maybe I will do better next time if I get the point.
I am glad you liked the outcome though,
Best wishes, Anthony
Great sound, and wow your vocal is good (and lyric too) but that vocal hook from the 'girls' is extraordinary - this is so catchy - faved and downloaded - not sure what else I can.
thanks Ian, when i first heard it i was like, wow, that hook, that it the standout feature of the track, i thought my vocal was a good fit tbf and the content was clever, it all come from me sending Manuela the first verse, she told me to write a full track i was listening to the news, the response said person was holding, she dm'd me maybe make him your subject 50 mins later it was all wrote, i sang it and sent my wav stems to the studio the next day as Manuela was performing a 3 night stint in southern Germany, Nick the engineer was on weekend duty and managed to master it, and yeah mate they nailed the 3 nights too, glad you liked it.
This came up nicely - for sure dont need that other bass, the ambience is great and you got that guitar sound ringing nicely - real cool slow burn minimalist kind of a track. You could build on this one but it's sweet as is
Lovely mix and sound production - yes that reverb on the vocal is just right (as a few people have noted). Ive done a few with her vocal too but not yet able to get this polished - excellent
