I liked it before and I still do - the mix is very vice and the guitar sound esp. very cool - of course Im wondering if we ( you, me, the LM taste bubble) would mix it differently today but to be sure Ive tried remixing some of my own track and usually Im happier with the first one
Been a while, thought you might have met a sweet Balinese girl and decided to stay lol. I tweaked the mix a little mainly bringing the wah guitar up a bit and a bit brighter. Might send you a wee something if I can get around to working on it done more. Cheers man.
Wonderful depth in the layers of sound and love the build(s) and bass which is so well used compositionally. And such artful choice of samples - everything adds something and despite the multitudinous layers its balanced and not overwrought. Massive sound, great production, Superb. Accolades deserved
love the clarity of sound - real instruments!! the bass and drums are perfect and the big rock guitar chords work very well too - I expected the lead to be dirtier but it's classy. Rock On
I love this - really nice instrumentation, beautifully layered with lots of space in the mix, great staging, crafty composition and perfect production. The vocal does indeed sound natural /somewhat improvised but is wonderful
classy and very cool - love a bit of experimentation and bringing in fresh elements along side solid such solid beats and raps and this production (as usual) sounds great too.
Great work guys the track is great and your voice is really well integrated and suits perfectly (imho). Im good with the fx too, in my view they fit well and work soften and glue the the mix / the vocal with other elements in the track.
thanks Ian, i really liked what Aaron did, he's excellent and trap is his speciality, i think he done a great job and i enjoyed working with him he's such a nice lad, he put in the work too. the only thing i asked him to do was include his tag, everything else was up to him, i was more than happy, thanks for the feedback its appreciated as always mate
Woo hoo - killer of a track - great metal composition, love those guitars and very cool spoken word. Resonating with me after its stopped which is always a sign to me that the artist has got it right
u were checking out my work at the same time i was yours lol. Ive just completed all of the songs for my Cinematic Beats prject, as soon as the artwork is done, Im going to offer it as a free download in a few places. (or for $10 on discord, itll come with a sample pack Ive put together, that was some friends of mines idea) Thanks for the love, bro
Oh Yeah - definitely old school hip hop - and very nice warm vibes smooth chugg a chugg, mmm, mmm, sweet interplay of melodies and class vocal.
More please : )
If you are gokking to tour - better come down under too
I can put you up in wollongong
Nice work on the track mate - personally I dont think it's your best performance - I like you rapping more but for sure your writing shines and I love the fact that you keep pushing yourself and putting it out there - keep going my friend
Oz is pencilled in when we cover that part of the globe Ian, Adelaide a family stop off then New Zealand more family, never seen them for 40 years and the buggers still want free tickets, do they not realise me and Cyber have a bloody tough swim ahead before we start performing for you its even more difficult with a guitar and piano under your arm and a pearl set strapped to your back :))
i think the next track the follow up is up there with my best tracks, this was r&b, i just like working with Robin, i think he returned a different artist im trying to do an album of indie tracks just his, and i put lots of effort in, the next track will be the album opening track, and title of the album, im going for 10 tracks, ive got 3 at the min i think are worth it, so watchout for it, but i warn bad news is about to hit us Stagefright2025 could be in jeopardy before it gets of the floor :))
ps ive got a beauty rap to come, REDEFINED RHYME, possibly my best flow yet
Hello pseudoble, many thanks for listening. Glad you did like the synth and the beats. Her voice is indeed very sweet. Hope you did not float away for too long :-) Cheers, Oli
Sounding even better - I dont know if Im remembering right have to listen to other to compare but I think this is now a little less ambient and a little more shoegaze
Yeah, I added a very basic bass to underpin it, and redid one of the guitars so it intertwined a little better and if you paid attention you could actually follow along a little, rather than just hearing a big fat pugwash.
Nice work mate - and another great example from you in the value of putting yourself out there and of what can happen in a community like this when we respond to each other with dignity and in safety
thanks Ian,, when we all joined around the same time , we all connected and made everyone welcome irrelevant of your skill, i was bloody awful when i look back, im a littlte bit better now, thats down to the people here. it grabbed me and i give the community a lot of time ,thats just me, im not interested in watching tv, most is garbage anyway i like music sport and news, Question Time a debate show is my fav viewing, i love my daw and playing too, i can be a boring old get at times but mostly im just mad happy, everyone plays the part they want here, thats fine, everyone should be allowed to do that and feel safe, i will always try to behave like my peers here taught me and yeah im an example of what can happen, if you play fair, and thats exactly what this message is really about, how good this place actually is and the opportunities it can provide, im still surprised by the artist that work with me and of course Manuela has been great for me
Gorgeous playing - the interplay between guitars always creates such wonderful depth and interest - even somewhat when the playing is not so great (as in my own) - but here the playing is exceptional and beautifully recorded, balanced and produced.
Your comments are very much appreciated , sometime it's the small things that stand out the most in music and it's possible by anyone if you try....im still learning the fretboard and it's possibilities....we need music in our lives more than ever.....keep playing my friend.
great work - mix sounds terrific - Im not sure that I caught the jody track but it's a banger - great music and the rap sits really well. Sounding very polished my friend - congrats
thanks Ian, this was wrote the day after Manuela received abuse, i was just choosing my moment, it was never about the track just the message, we can now move on and forget about it, i used the time she was away trying to convince her to stay, for the right reasons. wait till you here the ballad, ya gotta have big cahoonas to do this, got some massive collabs this month, Aaron, 2 of Robins they are stellar, city lights his now makes my heart beat like mad when i sing it, one with Danke too, all of them are big songs. i can't believe my lucky stars, im just as shocked how my vocal has improved too, i still think im rubbish, but i use to be f#ckin'shockin, when i listen back to old work , absolute shite i think i engineered with a chainsaw :))
Hey Morash - I especially love the strings and the little percs but the whole track is beautifully produced and the mix has a crystal clear quality - great!
I like using Nick's vocals too (but not sure if he's ever approved - Oh well)
This is playful and an engaging listen with some nice experimental nuances, a pop sensibility and class production. Congrats
Well, Nick put his vocal in the acapella section of Looperman and must count the fact that some people use it :-) Many thanks for your reply and your comment.
