A very enjoyable listening, all parts are put together with taste and musical knowledge. The vocals are great. I am sensitive to the voice grain of the singer. If those are sampled, it's an excellent choice. Nice guitar additions also, adds some spices (i'm very partial to actual guitar recordings). Thanks for sharing this track!
A very interesting track - love the vintage 'crackle' effect that buffers the voice. A collage of sounds that evoke both a smile and a knowing nod. ' We are what we pretend to be, so we must be careful about what we pretend to be. Lol. Love ur intelligent humour and the way u weave around a concept. Kay
Hello pseudoble, I gave your track a couple of listens and found it to be pretty interesting....I like the laidback piano accompaniment along with the soft and supporting effects as well as the well delivered vocals.....the music itself was well placed and good flow.....I enjoyed this.
Hey Glenn - thanks for listening and commenting - nothing much compared to your beautiful guitar work but hey we do what we can with what we can hey : )
Very tastefully done. Neither muzic nor vocal overpowers or stand out more than the other. Both rest in their own space, thats good! This puts the mind at ease and takes you to a place of peace, with the reminder of a vocal in there. Good job. :-)
Ha - Thanks Chis - yeah I think you might be on the nicer side. And thanks for the nice comment too. Just wasted a couple of hours that I should have been doing something around the house on a not so good track called ' sad young man at a disco ' (eat your heart out duchamp) - Ill send it to you for a laugh - needs a bass line!
This is a beautiful marriage of musical magic with a great rap /vocal - the music is so ecclectic but you make it slot into each instrumental piece like a jigsaw that's a perfect fit yet opens up a music story for us. Love it. Kay0s
Thanks Kay - this one I think is even more experimental than usual but I was happy with the weird sound - not going to hear to many track like this one (and some might think for good reason hey : ) )
Ironic that Jared beat me to the punch here lol, But Im glad to see him expand his horizons a little bit. anyway bro wat in the world has been inspiring u, I like dthe last few things youve put out quite alot, but jeez this one is good. like permanent playlist good bro, u should be proudly showing this one off on Bandcamp or something. Well gd done my guy!- Aaron
Hey Aaron - thanks for the lovely feedback mate - I did get on the discord but that platform really shits me - I just cant seem to find my way around on any discord - anyway enough moaning. In terms of inspiration Im just experimenting with different things and layering and trying to learn how to get a decent mix - got a few largely finished but hoping for a vocal or something else to polish it off - probably just give up and post hey. Look forward to having a listen to what you have been up to
Whoa, idk why but I didnt expect those vocals - but idk wat else would work better. Idk how to describe this but Aboslutely sick man. No wonder my brother recommended u as one of the people here to follow. I was coming up with some vocal stuff of my own for it, just off the the top of my head. anyway i freakin loved this song dude. Btw I forgort to introduce myself, Im Jared, Aaron's (Pnnywze) brother, I just joined a few days ago. Im so glad i did.
Hey Jared - welcome mate - thank you for the listen, for the warm feedback and for saying hello. Sorry for my slow response Im looking forward to things been a little quieter with my work over the new years period so I can play and listen some more. Look forward to hearing what you are up too - all good things Ian
nice to see you around Ian, hope your good. nice chilled ambient beat with a great vocal and i really like the drum track the bongo is lit mate, lovely piece to listen to, keep up the great work.
Hey Paul - thanks mate, Im doing okay, working too much and making music instead of sleeping in the early hours of the morning (madness when I have to function in the day - but hey find what you like in life and let it kill you hey?) Will check out what you've been up to and comment soon.
Hi Kay - sorry for the slow response. Thanks very much for the warm feedback and checking out some other tracks of mine too (I noticed)
Look forward to hearing the latest (and whatever else I missed) from you and Oli.
Hey there - thanks for checking this one out and the warm feedback - this was another experiment but I thought it had some nice elements - I always like blondie but cant remember that track - have to check it out - cant remember them ever been this noisey!
Happy times! Lovely man. I've been enjoying your guitar work lately. That Jorado track your sent me is awesome. I haven't come up with anything to add in terms of vox but I love it. This one too of course. A little different from you but it still has that dense layered rhythmic quality your often bring.
Hey Chris - yeah got to do something with that other track - this was the result of experimenting with guitar synth vst's before I applied even less finesse with the real thing : )
Ah thanks Micky - that's nice to hear from a man that has your polish - I think it's kinda rough but maybe sometimes the flaws in the glass or a little disruptive randomness is not such a bad thing : )
The whole background music is well made, and really plays a solid role for your song. What I believe is that you should replay the upfront guitar part. It is a good idea to give that distorted sound to your music, but I think you could enrich the part with minor changes to what you are playing. Keep up the good work Ian
Best wishes, Anthony
Hey Anthony - thanks for listening and the constructive feedback - like many of us here and in life (prabably) we recognise that we might do better but lack the will to apply ourselves - Im just a lazy bastard at heart
that mix sounding yummy on my headphones. bright dreamy vibe with your guit sound and i think you should leave those parts, it gives it a human touch and your rhythm guitar in the background grounds it with the groove. im just a beginner but im impressed with a lot of creators here on Lm , the improved their mixing and you are one of them. love from a banana.
Thanks Lu - yeah I keep trying to figure out how to improve the sound production - not entirely sure it's right on this one (kind of edgy) but it fits well enough : )
